Descripción
Light Blue Summer Vibes by Dolce&Gabbana is a musky floral woody fragrance for women. Launched in 2023, this olfactory composition was created by Olivier Cresp. The top note features the freshness of Calabrian bergamot, giving way to a heart of peach, while the base settles on the warm wood of cedar.

This version is even fruitier than the original: coconut, pear, raspberry, and blackcurrant, which appeals to me more. It’s very close to Light Blue Intense. I’m glad D&G manages their fragrances directly, as the care is palpable. I would buy it without hesitation for my collection. The packaging is beautiful with that iconic fabric design. It smells juicy and feminine. Recommended despite the short longevity. Ideal as a gift 🎁💕
As I love Light Blue in its other facets, I didn’t waste time trying this and… oh disappointment, it smells of pure cilantro to me! I swear the first thing I did was look up the notes, and to my surprise, that little herb doesn’t appear. I must clarify that I belong to that group that hates cilantro due to a gene that makes us perceive its aldehydes, turning every dish with it into a soapy mess. The same happens with its aroma, which is closer to bleach detergents than the herbal freshness it tries to emulate. I don’t want to disillusion the rest, but the problem is mine. Still, for precaution, I advise anyone with an aversion to the spice to test it first in a perfumery.
Looking for something new, I found this version of Light Blue. The blue ceramic bottle instantly gave me Mediterranean vibes. It smells citrusy at first, then shifts to something fruity and creamy without losing its freshness. It’s very similar to the original but softer, and over time it gains a woody touch, though it remains light. It lasts about 6-7 hours with a moderate trail that stays consistent throughout. It reminds me of summer, parties, and that cocktail at the beach bar. I liked it because it brought back memories of my holidays in Turkey with my boyfriend.
Thank you D&G! The constant complaint was that Light Blue didn’t last or project, and here it has been resolved somewhat. Do they smell similar? Yes. Do they smell the same? No. Does it last longer? Yes. Here you will find a three-hour longevity versus half an hour or less in the original version. Citrus, woody, and with a sweet spark. That bergamot is divine, with that rich, juicy lime-like aroma. With a hint of sweet peach. One of my favourites for this heatwave.
Since I love Light Blue in its other facets, I didn’t waste time trying this and… oh, disappointment, it smells of pure coriander to me! I swear the first thing I did was look up its main notes here, and to my surprise, that little herb doesn’t appear among them. I must clarify that I belong to that ‘not so small’ group in the population that detests coriander due to a gene that makes us perceive the aldehydes in its composition, turning every dish with it as an ingredient into a soapy mess. The same happens with its aroma, which is closer to bleach detergents than to the herbal freshness it pretends to emulate. I don’t want to disillusion the rest of the planet with this. The problem is mine personally, but still, and just for precaution, I advise anyone with an aversion to the aforementioned spice to go to a perfumery and try it first.
SUMMER HAS NO GENDER, period. In all caps, let no one sell you the idea that this is purely feminine because it’s a lie. Does it look incredible on women? Undoubtedly, but on a man too, believe me. Fruity aroma, very fresh, and it screams ‘summer’ from all sides. I’ve worn it, and apart from being a delight, in my opinion, it’s much better than its male version, which is bland. It lasts longer and tastes better. That’s how it should be. RESULT: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ☆ ☆
From my personal perspective, already having Avocado from Lush in my collection, I find owning this Light Blue unnecessary. Furthermore, the Lush body spray outdoes this one in both longevity and performance. Both are citrus with a ‘lemon cake’ note. Although it is very nice, this Light Blue has come out, as usual, very light 😆.
🔎👃🏻 SUMMER HAS NO GENDER 👃🏻🔍 UNISEX, in all caps and with all the letters, so no one tries to sell you the idea that this is purely feminine because it’s a lie. What looks incredible on women? Undoubtedly, but on a man too, believe me. Fruity aroma, very fresh and shouting ‘summer’ from every angle. I’ve worn it, and apart from being a real treat and, in my opinion, much better than its boring male version, it lasts longer and is more enjoyable. This is it. RESULT: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ☆ ☆
Well, to be honest, I tried it today and bought it on the spot. I owned the 2001 original, and in my opinion, this is identical in scent. The 2001 version had a creaminess that the current one hasn’t possessed for years. This Summer Vibes has it; for me, it returns to its roots. One spritz at 13:00 and another at 17:30, and it remains intact. I recommend it to those nostalgic for the LB of 2001.
A simple, fresh, summery and clean aroma. It has everything to be a summer star perfume, one of the few today that are ‘clean’ scents smelling of ‘just out of the shower’ yet maintain the feminine and sophisticated touch that only a perfume can give. I wear it with great joy; it infects me with that summer glow, that sunlight streaming through the window in the mornings, that good humour. With a citrus opening that fades to reveal the peach with a woody base, it’s a perfume that I simply cannot do without in the mornings and on hot days. I love it. It reminds me greatly of a discontinued Cannon perfume from my country called ‘Sens’ (the bottle simulated a green drop), which I used back in 2010/2011 if I remember correctly. And curiously, perhaps this was a copy of the original Light Blue and I didn’t know it.
I bought a Light Blue after reminding myself a thousand times that it doesn’t last on the skin. I applied it in a perfumery one day in the middle of a heatwave, and it made me feel so fresh with such a pleasant scent that I couldn’t help but buy it. Then, at home and after trying it over several days, I must say that I still find this flanker enchanting; it smells very similar to the original, certainly, but it lasts only as long as it takes me to leave the house and go downstairs… I’m wasting euros by the second, haha.

Yes, I love Light Blue, and that’s why I had to try this version. Summer vibes is everything that Light Blue is, but with a creamy twist and a more vanilla note. I’m surprised by its composition of just three notes versus Light Blue because they truly smell identical; however, once it dries down, it feels like a creamy peach. On the skin, it reminds me of those Mexican sweets called ‘Sugus’. I loved it, I won’t deny it. It’s beautiful. Although I’m not usually one to own the original perfume or its flankers as they often aren’t worth it, this time I’m making an exception because I simply can’t resist such a delicious scent. Please, D&G, make these gems last longer!!

I love this fragrance as much as I suffer from how it disappears in just 30 minutes. I don’t know if I stop smelling it or if it truly vanishes, but that’s the reason why it’s not yet in my collection, despite being one of the scents I adore most for summer. It’s fresh, lovely, sweeter, and fruitier than Light Blue. Personally, I like it much more. But that bit about lasting a breath brings me to the land of bitterness. I don’t rule out falling for the temptation anyway… 😔
I love this fragrance as much as I suffer from how it disappears in just 30 minutes. This EDT is an absolute gem for anyone who loves fresh and fruity scents. From the very first spray, it vibrates with fresh fruits and a sweet touch that is utterly addictive; I’m completely smitten. It blends the freshness of bergamot with juicy peach over a musky base, creating something enveloping and long-lasting. Although it’s an EDT, it surprises with its longevity, yet I still love reapplying it every two hours to revive that intense, refreshing trail I simply adore.
This Light Blue is almost identical to the first, except it doesn’t feel as woody, but the lemon opening is identical. Rich as my beloved firstborn, fresh, sophisticated, clean, and not complicated at all for those who like fruity citrus scents.
In my opinion, the best citrus for women. It’s fantastic. I wish it lasted longer and was stronger. The peach could be more prominent in the dry down.
I wanted to try it because I truly love Light Blue, but since the pandemic I can’t handle perfumes with cedar. I owned the classic twice, then bought the Intense version, and all I could smell was the cedar wood that irritated my sinuses, so I ended up gifting it. I would love for this flanker to have musk instead of cedar; it would be brilliant and even cleaner; still, I didn’t doubt falling for the temptation. Edit: Well, I did buy it, haha. What a beautiful fragrance; with just three notes they’ve managed to match the scent of the classic LB without the blinding cedar. This version is much creamier but retains the LB signature. Its longevity is very good, around 6 hours on skin and clothes, then close to the skin. I’m definitely sticking with this flanker; I hope they don’t discontinue it as they tend to do.
I liked this flanker a bit more than the original, especially the opening, as it feels fuller and fruitier (unlike the original which smells of pure lemon). It’s not bad; it’s ideal for hot days and the packaging is very pretty, but honestly, it’s nothing special. There are plenty of perfumes that smell very similar, last longer, and are much cheaper. Frankly, I wouldn’t buy it.
Ahh, what a delight! First, a rich citrus that awakens the nose without being offensive, followed by an incredibly sweet peach that never becomes cloying because it’s tinted with bergamot. I bought it during an irresistible offer, blindly, trusting in LB and D&G, and it was a great success.

I think this is now my favourite LB. That peach note really tames the intense citrus that defines it. It’s still similar but much more balanced. I wish it lasted longer, as on me it only lasts 3-4 hours. However, I’m not complaining because 100ml cost me nearly 33,000 Chilean pesos (approx. $33) in the free zone, so at that price I have no issues. It reminds me very much of Acqua Fiorentina by Creed, with that citrus blended with sweet notes that soften the sharpness.
I was very disappointed. I expected a mix of peach and citrus, but it came out different. It smells like Moschino’s I Love Love and Halloween’s Blue Drop, they’re cousins, so if you have one, you can do without the other. It smells fresh and sweet at the same time, but after three sprays it’s still the same old thing and super synthetic. Let’s not talk about longevity; I applied it half an hour ago and I can only smell it right up against my skin; perhaps it’s expected for an EDT, but for the price, you can find better things.
What a disappointment! I bought it on offer without smelling it because I know the classic Light Blue well. I sprayed it and had to press my nose to my arm to feel the scent; even so, it felt so light that it was like I’d splashed water with a bit of lemon. One thing is that the perfume doesn’t last all day, as it’s citrusy and we all know that. Another very different thing is that it doesn’t release any aroma even at the moment of spraying, which surprised me greatly for the worse.

You need a thousand sprays for it to be noticeable; the lemon is rich, yes. It lasts a breath, just for people to smell it up close. But it works for layering; I combined it with Lattafa’s Victoria and ended up with a much more potent lemon.
For me, this is a pure grapefruit citrus, exactly what I was looking for: natural, fresh, with a sweet touch that cleanses and energises. Although it’s not listed in the notes, it perfectly evokes them in the opening. Citrus doesn’t need to be complex, just polished and balanced, and here they achieve it. It feels woody, sober and clean, with a soft fruity nuance reminiscent of velvet skin, not sweet pulp. Don’t expect epic longevity, as that’s not its role. It’s made to refresh and revitalise, ideal for hot days. It’s light, clean and discreet, perfect for daily wear.
