It’s like a blend between classic Light Blue and Forever. Although it’s from the woody line, it features a ripe lemon, a touch of florals, and dries down to a soft cedar. It lasts four hours strong, then soft but noticeable. Moderate sillage. I prefer the classic.
I’m not usually a huge fan of citrus, but lately I’ve been bitten by the bug. I tried this flanker and at first it seemed like overripe lemon (that sour stuff you forget on the table), but literally by the third second an exquisite aroma emerges… stronger than the original and feels more ‘real’, as if you’d just squeezed lemons straight from the tree ahah (I’ve never done it, but I can imagine it). Rich, fresh, and I think it lasts longer than regular Light Blue, as the blotting paper still smells of it after six hours.
It opens with a very well-executed sweet lemon, but on my skin the top notes fade quickly, leaving a creamy coconut base that smells fantastic. Like it!
I’m obsessed because it’s super fresh (perfect for summer) yet has that cool woody touch. As soon as you wear it, you feel like you’re on a paradisiacal island on holiday 💙
I absolutely love this Light Blue flanker: the lemon is far less sharp, letting the apple and a hint of sweetness shine through to make it much kinder. Once it dries down, it’s clean, musky, and woody with gorgeous sandalwood and cedar. It’s got me hooked! 😍
