It smells of fresh roses with a barely noticeable sweet touch; the scent is lovely but on my skin it lasts very little. It reminds me of those rose perfumes, like Lancôme’s Idole.
It starts very fruity; I love the combination of apple, blackcurrant and tangerine. On my skin, the blackcurrants embrace the roses, with a beautiful dry-down of white wood and sandalwood. I like it for being fruity red roses that become very soapy as they dry. It’s discreet, doesn’t invade or smell strong. It’s a very shy eau de toilette. I liked it for everyday wear, but I won’t buy it because it doesn’t last at all.
The sour gum notes overwhelm everything, and the rose is barely perceptible; it’s an invasive beast that leaves a fruity trail wherever it goes. Neither discreet nor elegant, it’s the epitome of commercial perfumery: confetti and sugar. It doesn’t convince me.
