  I tried it today and it transported me back to my childhood, to my classmates’ garden or school parties, when I’d arrive at the party, greet the birthday boy and hand over the gift. It’s a childish fragrance, just like the one little boys wear after bathing and perfuming themselves before going fishing, but with incredible sillage and longevity. Quite unisex.

  I read it was more elegant than the original Light Blue and, being a limited edition, I took the plunge 😂 although I’d never heard of the famous one. At first, I found it very masculine, but over time I’ve come to love it: it’s relaxed, distinguished and original. Lemon dominates, but above all the mandarin, my favourite fruit, alongside floral notes I’ve never experienced in real life, all on a woody base. It resembles Moschino’s I Love Love, but that one smells of rotting orange and its woods are heavier (I gave my miniature to my 11-year-old son and he adores it). It convinced me one afternoon when I went to the park; it’s perfect for spring on a sunny, mild day with a breeze that creates waves of scent, reminding you it’s there, as if there were fruit trees and flowers. A pity it lasts so little; the price is high for just two hours of longevity and very soft sillage.

  Disappointing: it smells very little like the original Light Blue, with poor longevity and no sillage. On skin, it faded within 30 minutes, leaning more towards Forever than the classic. I wouldn’t recommend it due to the lack of projection; any fragrance without presence feels like a scam. It suits spring and summer, but it lacks the freshness of the original.
