At first it seems gourmand but it isn’t sweet; I’ve enjoyed it. The opening catches you off guard with white chocolate, but if you pay attention, other notes emerge: white chocolate, spicy green cardamom, shy pink pepper, orris root, white flowers and a very creamy sandalwood. After half an hour, the chocolate blends with the sandalwood and flowers (lilies and jasmine), yet it becomes woody-resinous due to the cedar and amber, shifting from gourmand to woods thanks to that vetiver. Although it’s not listed, the opening reminds me of coconut or coconut cream from a piña colada, I suppose because of the sandalwood and chocolate.
