Descripción
Remember Me by Jovoy Paris is a citrus gourmand fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by nose Cécile Zarokian. Its top notes of cardamom, lemon and bergamot deliver a vibrant, acidic opening. The heart reveals a blend of tea, ginger and frangipani, adding depth and an exotic touch. Finally, the base notes are stabilised with milk, vanilla, woods and cedar, closing the olfactory pyramid with an enveloping, gourmand warmth.

I liked it very much, but definitely not what I expected. According to reviews, it is a milk chai (?), but on me it has a strange resemblance to Mon Guerlain. In the opening, it feels a very warm almondy scent, with a green and fresh touch, like freshly cut leaves in an infusion. Then it transforms into a subtle aroma of vanilla flowers; it is the most natural plumeria I have ever smelled, nothing astringent or like sunscreen. At the end, I do detect something lactonic, but very slight. Smelling it alongside Mon Guerlain, they do not look alike, but separately they give the same effect and ‘vibe’, especially in the opening. I wanted something more gourmand, but my skin highlights the florals. Still, it is a very beautiful perfume, barely sweet. For quiet days at home or meetings with friends. Moderate sillage, longevity 8-10 hours.

‘Remember Me’ is one of Jovoy’s perfumes that demonstrates quality and originality. The scent is very lactonic and vanilla-like from start to finish, more like a vanilla latte than a chai. It has green nuances of tea and cardamom, but what I notice most is the frangipani accented with white flowers and woods (I assume sandalwood and cedar) that give it a creamy aspect. I think making perfumes with a milk accord is difficult, and here it is done so balanced that it produces enjoyment and relaxation for me. I see it as more feminine than masculine, versatile for before bed, a date, or a formal event, all without being hot. Finally, I would think about owning it, but feeling it on my girlfriend would be even better. Note: 8/10

I never buy blind; I use samples, but with this one I had an immediate hunch. After thinking about it, I bought it, and it has been the best purchase of the year. ‘Remember Me’ is a creamy chai tea (milk tea with spices and herbs). It opens with freshly squeezed citrus, a spicy touch, and minty green accords. At first, I wasn’t fascinated, but that phase passes quickly. Soon, the milk tea appears with an explosion of frangipani. As it dries, it settles into a soft, creamy vanilla with ginger, lemon, and woods. The scent feels familiar, but I don’t know to what. It makes me happy and brings calm, something hard to find for someone with mental health issues. I feel like a special person is hugging me. It reminded me of Magenta Tanzanite, Princess by Kilian, and Lira by Xerjoff depending on the phase. It is exotic, aromatic, cosy, mysterious, delicate, and feminine. Highly creamy and lactonic. A sweetness and acidity in harmony. My most comforting perfume. Ideal for autumn but very versatile. Sillage is moderate to soft with high longevity, around 8 hours. It invites the person with you to curl up. I do not recommend buying it blind because it changes greatly depending on the skin (I have tested it on several). On me and my family, we have been lucky, and it shines specially. Since it arrived, I don’t want another. I like the scent, how it sits on me, how I feel, the bottle, and the name… Could this finally be my signature? EDIT: It is a warm embrace in the early hours of the morning and a caress in the dry down. Solace on agitated days when breathing becomes laboured. I DO NOT WANT TO LIVE WITHOUT THIS. ❣️

Total disappointment; I don’t know if it is my skin, but there is no lactonic or vanilla note. On me, it is a yellow floral with ginger and tea; I perceive no other notes. It comes across almost 100% feminine. If I smelled it continuously as it first comes out, I would say so, but later it changes completely: the floral charge drops, the vanilla becomes noticeable, the lactonic part does not appear, the ginger fades, and the woody notes become more present. It is true that one must pass through an unpleasant opening to get there, but if you stick with it, the dry down is very rich.
Uyuyuyyyy… Oh my goodness! A warning for spice addicts and those seeking something different from the usual (think Kenzo Elephant, Bossa Wood, etc.). This will blow your mind 🤯. A blind buy that is absolutely safe. My beloved Starlight has just got a serious rival.
I had the chance to get a sample and while I do not dislike it, there is something that does not quite fit. Perhaps I am mad, but it reminds me a lot of Mon Guerlain with a good dose of milk. I prefer Mon Guerlain without a doubt.
I loved the opening, yes, it is quite similar to Princess by Kilian. The dry down reminds me of freshly baked bread, I am not sure why. I will try it with more care and edit with more conclusions.
It reminds me of the Ani vanilla by Nishane, super delicious.
This perfume moves me, it feels like a cosy embrace. It’s creamy, with a citrus hint but not acidic, soft and slightly sweet, far from being cloying. It smells slightly spiced with a hint of tea. The projection is very faint; it’s an intimate and enveloping scent. I have the 15ml version but I want to buy the large bottle because every time I use it it comforts me, gives me tenderness and emotional security. This perfume is a simple and sensitive journey.
It is a precious gem, like a cosy embrace. A spicy and creamy tea similar to Princess by Kilian; I have both and if I had to choose only one, I would stick with Remember Me.

Once again Cecile… at your feet a work of art: the first lactonic perfume I like, and I see it as more suitable for men. Citrus-spicy opening, with ginger and tea, fresh and invigorating, perfect for warm climates. But with that there are thousands of perfumes… where is the special thing about Remember Me? Where is the memorable? Oh friend! All that mixes with the lactonic-vanilled touch… PUFFFFF, what a wonder. It is very special, very magical.

In my search for the ideal chai latte, I found Remember Me and ordered a decant. Uuuufff, how beautiful. It is the definition of comfort; it makes you want to drink it from the first spray. It opens cold, sparkling and refreshing. A citrus and spice explosion. It has a milky sensation throughout the development, which is accentuated as it dries with vanilla and frangipani, giving it creaminess. It is sweet and delicate. If you love milk tea, try it. I expected it to be more autumnal, but it is for all seasons. It has an air of Princess by Kilian, one of my favourites. Both transport me back to childhood. Straight to my list of cosy loves.
Upon seeing ‘citrus-lactonic-vanilled’, I thought I would not be surprised, but I was wrong. It is special, different from the many vanilla-lemon perfumes of today thanks to the tea note, which is the absolute protagonist. Accompanied by a spicy touch of ginger, it reduces the sweetness and makes it fresh and wearable. As it dries, it becomes lactonic and woody without losing freshness. It is neither simple tea nor lemon biscuits; it is a halfway point that works brilliantly. I see it as unisex and suitable for all seasons. It lasts 7-8 hours on the skin with moderate projection and trail. One of my favourites from the house, the best.
I have a sample and I loved it, but @OihasTe is right, it is similar to my Mon Guerlain, so I am passing on the bottle. However, it is too beautiful. Recommended.
This Remember Me is an absolute gem. It smells of chai, very delicate and cosy, warm yet not realistic; it evokes the essence of tea, not the cup. More than sweet, it is comforting, with a touch of fresh spices and soft citrus at the start that create a green illusion. Then, creamy white and yellow flowers, without any sensuality, accompany the tea, which reminds me more of blue than black or green. The base is soft and beautiful, with subtle notes that reappear like reflections. I had a 2ml sample and fell in love; I will be buying the 15ml soon. I used it in autumn, but with little courage I took it to a tropical beach and it was excellent.
