Descripción
21 Conduit St by Jovoy Paris is a fragrance from the olfactive family for men and women, launched in 2020. Created by Oli Marlow and Marie Schnirer, this composition unfolds with the freshness of grapefruit, rhubarb, lavender, and bergamot in its top notes. The heart of the fragrance reveals the warmth of balsam fir and amaretto, while the base notes settle with the elegance of ambroxan, woody nuances, and tonka bean.

It arrived with a sample from my purchase, and I immediately started looking for the bottle because here in Mexico, it’s not sold in stores or online. The box and bottle look super luxurious. The fragrance is delicious: at first, it smells odd, like oud, but it doesn’t last long; then the citrus notes emerge, not as fresh as summer scents, but with a richer touch. Reviews talk a lot about the rhubarb, but I’m not sure what that smells like, perhaps that’s what I confused with the oud. In the end, the ambroxan with woods comes through, and it projects a lot. I find it a bit formal but suitable for any occasion; it’s almost impossible for someone to smell the same. Highly recommended.
I absolutely love François’s proposal for his great mecca, Jovoy (if you’re going to Paris, don’t miss it). It’s a masculine scent, nothing youthful, fougère, or outdated. The rhubarb note is very noticeable, giving it a rough, bitter touch; it reminds me, from afar (only in that regard), of Encelade by Barrois. Then comes that ambroxan journey which sounds like Turathi Blue and Tygar but cleaner. It finishes with a light touch of sweet liqueur, like amaretto or muscatel, as if soaked into wood, a rich blend. It’s a signature fragrance, conveying security and good craftsmanship, elegant for a man in his 40s, 50s, or 60s. It doesn’t smell like an old man or an outdated perfume, just gives that sensation of an authentic man. Mola 21 Miao
I absolutely love François’s proposal for his temple, Jovoy (if you’re going to Paris, don’t miss it). It’s a distinctly masculine scent, neither youthful nor fougère nor outdated. The rhubarb note is very prominent, giving it a rough, bitter character that reminds me, from afar (and only in that regard), of Encelade by Barrois. Then comes that ambroxan journey, which brings to mind Turathi Blue and Tygar, but leaner. Finally, a light touch of sweet liqueur, like amaretto or muscatel, as if soaked into wood, seals this rich blend. A signature fragrance, hands down. It conveys security and good vibes; I see it as elegant for a man in his 40s, 50s, or 60s. It doesn’t smell like an old man or an outdated perfume, just an authentic man. Mola 21 Miao
