About Stella Mare
Stella Mare, Bienaimé's Wooded Shoreline
Composed by Marie Schnirer for Bienaimé and launched in 2026, Stella Mare is a woody aquatic fragrance made for both men and women. Its theme is the meeting point of salt spray and timber.
Sea salt, marine notes and violet lead the opening, while coffee, immortelle and maple form the heart. Vanilla, driftwood, ambroxan, vetiver and musk make up the base.
At first it smells distinctly coastal, mineral and saline. Violet softens the composition with a powdery sweetness that rounds off the marine brightness.
Then a warmer character comes forward. The bitterness of coffee is set against the herbaceous facet of immortelle and the mellow sweetness of maple, giving depth without heaviness.
In the base, driftwood and vetiver provide a dry woody frame. Ambroxan, musk and vanilla extend the wear with a tidy, skin-close finish that still recalls the sea.
The wider profile favours woody, marine, musky and powdery accords, with salty, sweet, aromatic and gently spiced nuances. Citrus is left aside in favour of wood, resin and soft gourmand touches.
It should suit wearers who prefer aquatics with substance and warmth, particularly those fond of vetiver, ambroxan and restrained vanilla in a shared, ungendered style.
A measured, shoreline-inspired creation, Stella Mare lets salt, coffee and vanilla harmonise into a quiet and contemporary close.
