Descripción
Très French by Teo Cabanel is a woody floral musky fragrance from the olfactive family, designed for men and women. Launched in 2020, this composition is signed by nose Marie Schnirer. In its opening, pear and peony give way to a luminous floral heart where lily of the valley, jasmine, and solar notes create a radiant atmosphere. The trail settles on a warm and enveloping base formed by white musk, sandalwood, benzoin, and Haitian vetiver.

I’ve loved this green floral. The lily of the valley and peony stand out over musk and woods. Among my favourite lily of the valley scents are Diorissimo and Brindille by Galimard; this Très French recalls the first but is more contemporary and less potent. Brindille is the greenest and freshest, although its EDP doesn’t last as long as the others. Très French is the most cheerful, luminous and easy to please. Good performance and leaves a trail. I love it for spring/summer; it puts me in a good mood. Perhaps I’ll buy it to vary from Brindille.
I recognise the quality: it’s green and creamy, with soft flowers centred on valley lily and a touch of sweet fruity note that makes it addictive. It’s classic, without original pretensions, but well-constructed with good performance. Fresh and versatile, ideal for spring/summer without being intrusive. Personally, it doesn’t captivate me, so I’ll use the sample but will keep looking in Teo Cabanel for something that suits me better. Given the quality, I remain interested in the brand. Overall rating 8, longevity 8, versatility 9, originality 6.
Totally agree with the previous comments. It’s a transparent, delicate green floral with a sweet pear opening that softens to give way to a freshness of peony and valley lily, lightly toasted by the sun. Dry down is musky, not soapy, but subtly warm. A cheerful, luminous scent, super easy to wear. Feminine and tremendously versatile, though more for daytime and spring/summer. Good quality note by note, even if it’s not my favourite olfactive family.
A perfume of everything, and there are many like it. It doesn’t stand out, evokes nothing and lacks projection. It’s missing personality and leaves no mark. By the way, on my skin the pear note is completely absent.
