Better than the media suggest; upon spraying, that neroli note doesn’t smell of baby powder but of an elegant, mature, successful man. The dry-down is clean and fresh with woody and incense nuances. The longevity exceeds other reviews, though it isn’t long: it’s just right for a fresh scent of this type. It projects strongly for the first hour, then retreats to a personal bubble that breaks with the slightest breeze, leaving a dreamy, close-up scent that’s hard to identify; if someone else wears it, you might doubt whether you’ve actually smelled it, and when it stops being noticeable, it disappears abruptly. Compared to Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino, it wins on longevity and price, without that baby perfume smell.
