  • For me, upon spraying it’s pure honey with ginger and saffron. It evolves with the ginger, but the rest of the notes complete the picture; to my nose, it’s intense honey with a spicy kick. I’ll be testing it further. It’s a bomb in terms of longevity and projection. If you over-spray, it can become overwhelming due to the sweetness. Highly recommended for honey lovers. It reminds me of the Scandal style, but Extase de Miel is slightly more complex and potent.

I have a decant and I feel so happy I’ve already added it to my 2025 wishlist. Honey usually doesn’t evolve well on my skin, but this is another story: how delicious! It’s organic, pure, and clean honey. The first hour is strong and a bit cloying, but luckily it mellows out and then the delicious notes emerge. There’s chocolate there, low but present. I loved it; it exceeded my expectations. I didn’t rush to try it because of the honey aspect, and being given the chance without actively seeking it was a gift; now I need the bottle. What a delicious fragrance. It has power, people! I applied three sprays on one arm, and shortly after my niece came down from the second floor and asked if I’d bought new perfume; she smelled it from upstairs. Omg! It knocks governments down, as our dear Karina says. Congratulations, beauty! Try it if you like sweet perfumes.

  • I love its fruity, sweet, and different opening, but the dry-down smells like Scandal by Night. I liked it, although I would have preferred it to stay as it was in the opening or development. It lasts a very long time and has generated compliments.

An interesting perfume; it’s the example of honey that becomes addictive when combined with spicy and floral notes. To be honest, I imagined it denser and darker; here, the gourmand and lustful honey notes mix with the fruity and spicy ones. The result is a soft, velvety construction with a luminous trail that envelops the senses. The soul of the fragrance is rich and sumptuous, but it’s nuanced by caramel that seems to melt into a cloud of vanilla, revealing a base of chocolate and tonka. It’s sweet but not cloying, well-balanced, and with surprising longevity on my skin of 10 to 12 hours. I sense it leans towards the feminine side, but I understand that by current standards it could be unisex. (Courtesy of Taurien)

Every skin and every nose is a world, and to each their own. But when I see it being criticised without having tried it… oh dear. This is my personal opinion; it may differ from yours (and that’s fine), but it’s sincere. Dear Fragantica, the violet note isn’t correct; it’s violet wood. I am a lover of honey and ginger, so it was probable I would like it. When the perfumed paper arrived, I couldn’t take it away from my nose; it’s ADDICTIVE. Finally, I tried it on my skin (very poor, crocodile-like) and besides surpassing the scent on paper, it has ideal performance. My nose is that of an amateur, but I’m a good honey singer; as a child they even gave me pieces of honeycomb, and here there is a wonderful honey, a synesthesia that makes me taste it. There is much more than honey, but the fragrance lives up to its name. If you like ginger, it’s glorious here. All wrapped in a slightly tipsy halo; I detect the apricot as candied fruit, a beautiful touch of saffron (nuances but doesn’t overwhelm), the sweetness of vanilla and other sweet notes. I also sense a bit of dark chocolate. As it progresses, I feel it more woody, always headlined by the honey. It’s sweet but doesn’t cloy me. Although I enjoy compliments, I don’t seek them; I perfume myself mainly for me. To my surprise, my husband complimented it (he likes 1 out of every 50 I show him, which is exasperating). I think it’s better to use it in cool and medium temperatures. It has a dark touch, very sexy, great for the night. But being sweet, cosy, warm, and comforting, it’s ideal for pampering yourself at home. This wonder gives me darkness and light. I don’t have Dulce Diablo, so I can’t compare it; it doesn’t resemble anything I own. For me, a beautiful addiction; I can’t stop sniffing myself when I wear it (I might even bite myself). If you like honey and ginger, I hope you can try it.

Given the enormous hype surrounding this fragrance, I decided to buy a decant before venturing to want it at all costs. Although Karina is very nice, I don’t see myself in the need to fawn over her perfume, though I must say it’s not a bad perfume. Everything I feel from it is an overwhelming honey, with nuts, saffron, and tonka bean, probably some vanilla and a tiny bit of saffron in the dry-down. When I say overwhelming honey, it’s because I made the mistake of using it in the morning and felt a bit suffocated. I think it’s more of an aroma to enjoy on cold days; I perceive it as quite linear and in my case it’s more pleasant after about 3 hours when it drops in intensity. On my skin it lasted about 14 hours, with high projection for the first 3 hours and then it fades gradually. Would I buy it? No. It’s definitely not my type. Is the hype justified? I think if you like honey, it is quite imposing and you could enjoy it for hours. My general impression is that you must try it before deciding to buy a large bottle that you then can’t wear because the scent is too strong.

With the huge hype, I decided to buy a decant before purchasing the full bottle at any cost. Although Karina is nice, I won’t fawn over her perfume, even though it’s not bad. All I sense is an overwhelming honey with nuts, saffron, and tonka bean, perhaps vanilla and a touch of saffron as it dries. I say overwhelming honey because I made the mistake of wearing it in the morning and felt like I was suffocating. I think it’s better for cold days; I perceive it as linear, and in my case, it’s more pleasant after three hours when the intensity drops. On my skin, it lasted 14 hours, with high projection for the first three hours before gradually fading. Would I buy it? No, it’s not my type. Is the hype justified? If you like honey, yes, it’s imposing and you can enjoy it for hours. My verdict: yes or no, try it before buying a large bottle that you might not be able to wear because the scent is too strong.

  • After months of thinking about whether to buy it or not due to such opposite opinions (people who hate it and people who adore it), I decided to take a risk and I must say I am very glad. I don’t consider myself a lover of honey perfumes, which held me back, along with comments that it was dark… When it arrived, I can only say that atomising it made me feel happy at how much I liked it. It’s a perfume of exceptional quality in which the honey is felt but is wrapped in apricots, nuts, spices, liqueur, tonka bean… it’s spectacular. I do find the same vibe as Narcotica’s Dulce Diablo; that’s why I don’t understand why people who love Dulce Diablo don’t like Extase de Miel. For me, Extase de Miel is of infinitely higher quality and has a much more refined aroma; I agree with Taurien that it is sweet and mature. Regarding its longevity and trail, I confirm it is spectacular and, since it arrived, it has created an addiction and I can’t stop using it (despite having over 400 perfumes and feeling the need to use the rest). Definitely, if you have the opportunity, I encourage you to try it; in my case, I resisted for 4 months and now it is one of the best acquisitions of 2023. Well done, Karina, I knew that coming from you it couldn’t be a dark perfume… it’s very yours, elegant and classy.

  • Carolina Casas

In my experience, Navitus makes dupes or inspirations, but VERY inspired… Chocolate Queen: Dolce Passione (Pantheon Roma), Baklava Royale: GON (Elie Saab), Extase de Miel: Dulce Diablo (Narcotica). What a pity because I bought the fragrances with great excitement and ran into that. It wasn’t worth almost two months of waiting for the perfumes to arrive. If you don’t have the perfumes I refer to, and if it suits you to buy the Navitus ones, since some of the mentioned ones are from niche houses and one is designer. Reviewers should have the decency to state the names of the perfumes they emulate to avoid consumers falling into redundancy.

  • I agree with @Taurien’s description. In the opening I sense something spicy like tobacco; afterwards I feel the plum and dried fruit very lightly. The rum joins with the saffron and ginger and it dries into a dark honey with tonka bean, spices, rum, and woods. In my case, I don’t detect the caramel, toffee, or vanilla; they are very far in the background. For me, it’s a spicy, woody, dense, and dark honey, perfect for the autumn-winter season. It’s not a cloying fragrance; it’s not a cloying Sweet, it’s more of a Spicy Sweet. A very pretty fragrance for honey fans, as it is the most realistic honey I have ever smelled, it’s like opening a jar of honey with spicy touches and putting your head in it. If you don’t like honey, don’t even get close as it is the protagonist from start to finish. Scent 10/10, Longevity 10/10 I shower and it’s still at skin level, Projection 10/10 people smell it a lot when I wear it.

  • The scent is different from everything… its trail and longevity are high… my husband finds it a bit cloying… I would see it more for winter… in its opening there comes out a peach with lots of honey… a few minutes later it becomes a chocolatey scent… and it changes to a spicy rum… wooo!! It changes very quickly, it has many facets… I liked it a lot.

  • For Karina, with all my affection… I called to try it and even bought it. Although I know it’s her notes, I treated myself. It certainly smells fantastic and projects like a dream; at this price, you wouldn’t expect less. But with this excessive success, it seems everyone is buying it, I’ve lost the urge to wear it, just as I have for the rest. Suddenly it’s the best perfume in the world; all relevant YouTubers and even other humans have picked it up (even if it’s expensive, they say some are going bankrupt…). On the other hand, I haven’t read a single negative review, it’s curious. Everything seems perfect. Perhaps we should rush to buy it because it’s the quintessence or the elixir of the gods. Or it’s just marketing… I’m sorry, someone had to say it. Anyway, for all this and more, I’ve lost the desire to wear or buy it, and even to read reviews, and look how it was coming my way.

  • I absolutely loved it; it’s an ode to honey that dominates the entire fragrance. Upon spraying, it smells of honey with a brief touch of tobacco, then the fruity notes emerge with juicy prunes. It feels like liquid honey—sweet and deep without being cloying. Over time, the honey darkens, revealing spiced tonka and the heat of ginger. At nine hours, it smells of comb honey with beeswax. The trail is moderate and lasts around 12 hours. Compared to Dulce Diablo, this feels more mature, dense, and unisex; it’s less sweet with honey as the absolute protagonist. Ideal for those seeking something distinguished. I also tried it layered with Scandal By Night and Chocolate Queen, but I enjoy it on its own to preserve its personality. Well done, Karina! Solid fragrance. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 7/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy again? Yes.

  • I absolutely loved this perfume; it’s a beautiful ode to honey. That note is the protagonist from the very beginning. When I first sprayed it, I smelled honey, with a brief memory of tobacco leaves. Then the fruity part appeared, some dried apricots that make the blend juicy. In the first hours, it smells like liquid honey, sweet and deep but without being cloying. As it develops, the honey becomes darker, spiced tonka enters without losing the ginger’s kick. At nine hours, it smells like comb honey, with beeswax. It has a moderate trail and lasts about 12 hours on skin. Compared to Dulce Diablo, this shares the dried apricot, but Dulce Diablo is creamier, airier, more liqueur-like and chocolatey, with an amber dry-down. Here, honey rules; it’s more mature, dense and unisex, less sweet. It’s perfect for people seeking honeyed scents with character, nothing simple. I’ve also layered it with Scandal By Night and Chocolate Queen by Navitus, recommended by Karina. I liked them, but this one alone so as not to overshadow its personality. Well done, beautiful Karina! Solid fragrance. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 7/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

Honey Extase is a rich, well-made scent, totally unisex, with an elegant presence and a sense of luxury; whether you’re wearing loungewear or a suit, this perfume breathes luxury. Upon trying it, I thought of Back to Black by Kilian, but they have nothing in common. They seemed similar due to that potent honey, apricot and sweet notes, but after a minute, nothing alike. It lasts about 7 hours on skin and has a powerful trail that’s noticeable where you pass. It’s absolutely delicious, it makes you drool over the sweetness, but it’s not a typical gourmand; it’s refined and elegant. A complete success. It couldn’t be a bad perfume if Kari from Dearmakeupdiary created it; she understands everything. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • This perfume is a true marvel, a genuine ode to honey and a dream for gourmand lovers. First is its originality. I’m a fan of gourmands; I have many swirling around in vanilla or chocolate, but I never thought I’d be interested in one of honey. It has been a resounding success. It’s exquisitely crafted; I perceive much quality. Although someone might not like honey, if you’re a gourmand lover, you’ll be hooked. It smells like realistic honey, never alone; it’s the heart of the fragrance, accompanied by chocolate, tonka bean and caramelised notes, without falling into cloying territory. It’s sophisticated, sweet, elegant and refined, a perfume with capital letters, and all of this lasts many hours. I’ve read it smells of apricot; I sense it slightly, along with a subtle rum, but in the background; nothing overpowers. I don’t sense the violet or flowers from Fragrantica. Its unisex character stands out. These fragrances are usually feminine, but I’m a man and it works perfectly on my skin. No one told me it smelled of a woman. It’s because the honey is darkened by the chocolate and the liqueur-like quality; it gives body, depth and an appetising darkness that suits male skin. I’m surprised; it has become one of my most appreciated perfumes in two days. Addictive, cosy, promising for cold months. The longevity is brutal. I put it on at four o’clock and it smelled the same; it projects well. I showered and came out; with the sponge, I could still smell the base fixative, very pleasant and ambered. I went to bed and I could still smell it. When I smell it, I seem to see Karina with those lively eyes. Although I’m a fan of Karina, I promise it’s a piece of gourmand perfumery, whether she created it or not; here we give true opinions to help us.

  • Well, first of all, I’ve never written a review. I never felt comfortable describing fragrances, except with friends, but I’ll do it as if I’m talking to them. The presentation is sober luxury; a bottle with a good grip and a direct, misty but potent atomiser. Upon spraying, the notes are felt for seconds; one wishes to retain them. Immediately, the honey settles, soft, already accompanied by another aroma. On skin, I sense the rosehip very subtly. Ten minutes later, the spices rise, saffron and ginger, and that’s where that delight stays. I swear it carries some wood that comes and goes, giving an enveloping warmth. I don’t sense the violet; I would have loved it; it would have been wonderful. All the notes go and come until the rum arrives to heat things up more. A couple of hours later, it settles with vanilla and touches of toffee. So far, I don’t sense the chocolate everyone talks about; perhaps it will appear later; I’ve worn it for more than five hours and it’s still evolving. On my first outing, I received compliments from the girl in the salon. It’s a fragrance with performance, which I value greatly. Important sillage. Three sprays (it’s 30 degrees here) and there it is, firmly. I’m not a honey person; the only one I like is Elie Saab Le Parfum Intense. This has nothing to do with it; it’s a fine, elegant, warm and enveloping gourmand. This box goes straight to the wardrobe until December. In Christmas times, I love Shanghai Lily by Tom Ford for the spices, but this year it will take its place: Honey Extase, mmm, I already feel wrapped in its warmth for those days and cold nights. I’d like to thank Bertrand Duchafour and Pierre Flores for this wonderful creation and Karina Dilone for being part of the project and introducing me to this perfume that I’m already loving and which doesn’t resemble anything in my collection.

  • Dear Kari Dill, I have just received your perfume Miel Extase; it is a delight. I had a little fear that I might not like it, but it was love at first sniff; I saw fireworks, just as you say, hahaha. That opening of mango, honey, and nuts is simply delicious. And that base with tonka bean, Madagascar vanilla, chocolate, caramel, and toffee… ufff. Highly recommended; I would buy it again. Congratulations on your perfume! 😘

  • First off, I’ve never written reviews before; I was too shy to describe perfumes, but I’ll do it as if talking to friends. The presentation is luxurious and understated, with a bottle that feels good in the hand and a direct, powerful atomiser. At first spray, the notes are noticeable for a few seconds, then soft honey settles in accompanied by another aroma. On my skin, I get a very subtle blackcurrant. After ten minutes, saffron and ginger rise, making it a delight. I swear there’s some wood adding an enveloping warmth; I don’t detect the violet, but I would have loved to. The notes come and go until the rum arrives to warm it up further. After a few hours, it settles with vanilla and toffee touches. I don’t sense the chocolate everyone mentions; perhaps it arrives later, as I’ve worn it for five hours and it’s still evolving. On my first outing, the girl in the salon congratulated me. It performs well with significant sillage; with three sprays in 30-degree weather, it stays strong. I’m not usually a honey person, except for Elie Saab, but this is a fine, elegant, and warm gourmand. This box is going straight into my wardrobe until December. For Christmas, I usually wear Shanghai Lily by Tom Ford, but this year Miel Extase will take over; I feel wrapped in its warmth for those cold nights. Thanks to Bertrand Duchafour, Pierre Flores, and Karina Dilone for this project I already love and which doesn’t resemble anything else in my collection.

  • Finally arrived, and I was truly impressed by this perfume; it smells genuinely luxurious on my skin. The dark chocolate and honey really stand out, and I can also detect a hint of dark rum, just like the ones from my home country, Cuba. Truly, Karina, you’ve scored a 10 with this fragrance; my congratulations! 🍾 Looking forward to your second creation, hoping you please us with something suitable for Miami’s infernal heat. Blessings.

  • XeniaEspinal

I received this fragrance with high expectations. The notes are exactly what I love! I am not disappointed; it is perfect for me. An exquisite honey, not overly sweet as I am a gourmand enthusiast. On my skin, it highlights a sweet, juicy mango, honey, chocolate, and a touch of saffron. I cannot yet speak justly about its trail and longevity as I live in infernal heat, but I will update later on that aspect. Anyone who loves gourmand scents will surely adore this perfume!

  • XeniaEspinal

It arrived with high expectations and the notes are perfect for me—I wasn’t disappointed! For me, it’s the ideal one. An exquisite honey, not cloying at all, perfect for a gourmand lover. On my skin, sweet and juicy blackcurrant stands out, along with honey, chocolate, and a hint of saffron. I can’t yet judge the sillage and performance fairly because it’s infernally hot here; I’ll let you know later. Anyone who loves gourmand scents will love this perfume, surely.

  • RosaMorales

Finally, it arrived and I was impressed; it smells incredibly luxurious. Dark chocolate and honey stand out, and I get a dark rum reminiscent of Cuban rums. Seriously, Karina, you scored a 10—congratulations! 🍾 I’m waiting for your second fragrance to beat these infernal Miami heatwaves. Blessings.
