MR. EDGE SWISS ARABIAN: One of the best versions of that legendary Terre d’Hermès. Very well made, it resembles it closely, is super citrusy and blends perfectly with the woods. I was surprised they invested in what truly matters (the scent), although the bottle isn’t bad at all. From the moment it sprays until it dries, that citrus part is potent and the woods keep pace, giving a sawmill sensation; it is the most worthy inspiration for Terre d’Hermès. I loved it a lot, it is a great option and its performance is spectacular. Undoubtedly, a very good fragrance. Scent: 10. Projection: good. Longevity: good, 8 hours on skin. Recommended.

  • A direct clone of Terre d’Hermès. Indistinguishable for beginners. The opening smells like Scalextric oil, like plastic, but then it disappears. It is synthetic, just like the original. Terre is a classic and I repeat. If you can’t manage the original, buy this. It is well made.

A classic by definition: strong citrus, but the earthy, woody base takes command from start to finish. Smells like someone with character and presence. Ideal for everyday wear or work if you want to project seriousness, firmness, and experience. Lasts 6-7 hours on skin and projects well for the first 2-3. The price is madness: what costs $200 elsewhere, you get it here for £22. Smells like real money. Perhaps those who are very youthful or creative and prefer sweet woods or lighter scents might find it monotonous, but surely no one smells quite like you. This style almost vanished decades ago; it was king between the 20s and 80s, so it sounds ‘old man’ to the young, but it is pure perfume history. Combine that with a fraction of the price of its famous Hermès sibling and yes, it smells like ‘old money’. It is unique and full of personality. Nowadays it is rare to see anyone wearing a Chypre; even those in their 50s smell more like soap and fruit than strong wood.
