  It smells too artificial and synthetic to me. It’s a sharp scent that makes you wrinkle your nose. Only for those seeking spiced, intense aromas. Nothing sophisticated or feminine for me. It feels very Arab, spiced, grotesque, and synthetic.

  My first El Nabil. I bought it blind based on the Mukhallat notes from Montale. It smells of loud synthetic strawberry with a hint of spiced cinnamon. As it dries down, it calms and becomes a dignified, almond-strawberry scent. I’ve really liked it; I don’t see it as youthful; it has presence. Yes, it has a good relationship with Mukhallat, so I’m pleased. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind as it’s very synthetic and attention-grabbing. The longevity is decent, though not quite as much as Estela.

  There are few strawberry perfumes I like. I bought it with trepidation after seeing a video (thanks Perfumisticous!), but it’s one of them. It smells of jammy ripe strawberries with cinnamon and vanilla. The almond note is subtle. The amber and musk base don’t weigh it down or detract from the fruitiness. The strawberry is synthetic, as one might expect, but I still enjoy it. It’s a mature strawberry perfume, nothing youthful or simple. The cinnamon and amber give it character and depth. Lasting moderate-to-good, it endures for over 12 hours. I don’t know Mukhallat to compare, but mixed with something creamy and lactonic, like Yara by Lattafa or Mad Love by Katy Perry, it’s delicious. It adds maturity and loses its synthetic aspects. I love it. It’s economical, quality, and performs well. Scent 7/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 8/10, Value for money 10/10, Versatility 6.5/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy again? Probably.
