The opening doesn’t grab me; it smells of super-sweet coconut. Honestly, the first half-hour isn’t for me as it’s quite intense—not cloying, but strong. Then it settles into a real sweet coconut scent, like a perfumed cocada, with subtle spices, very gourmand. It’s brilliant for going out at night due to the intensity, though during the day I only need to apply a little and mix it with something lighter. It’s not a beach or summer coconut; it’s wearable all year, but because it’s potent, you have to be careful not to overdo it as the initial sweetness can be overwhelming. The trail is moderate; the downside is that just as that exaggerated sweetness fades, it becomes more subtle, which depends on taste. I’ve received many compliments from people who enjoy sweet perfumes. To be honest, it’s delicious and brilliant value for money, lasting a long time with a decent trail. You just need to know how to use it. Depending on the time of day, I apply more or less and combine it with floral or musky oils to balance the initial sweetness, or simply apply it a while before heading out.
