  • I just received it alongside Cinnamon. I’ve loved it. I’m fully immersed in the pistachio notes; Kalotinis has recreated the pyramid beautifully. It feels like a slightly vanilla-infused milky pistachio (from the condensed milk), lovely and cosy. It doesn’t seem to last or project much, but it’s a gorgeous scent. As it’s just opened, longevity will improve with wear. It resembles Library of Fragrance’s (Demeter) Pistachio Ice Cream, but there are differences: this is more milky, while the other is more vanilla-forward. If you like pistachio like this, you’ll love this affordable niche fragrance.

  • Am I the only one noticing cherry? Perhaps it’s the condensed milk that’s steering the milky notes there. I couldn’t get past this perfume and sold it, just like I did with Pear Gelato. The pear one seemed more realistic but too potent; I didn’t want to wear it all day. I preferred Cinnamon Rolls, a scent that takes me straight to Christmas. I get the feeling Theodoros Kalotinis has studied the niche market of Jo Malone, even changing the packaging to a Swiss style.

  • Jollyrancher

Someone mentioned it smells like cherry and I couldn’t agree more. It’s an incredibly realistic cherry scent with loads of syrup. At first, I detect a faint pistachio. My mum and I think it smells like black forest cake with cream cheese, sweet syrup, and cherries, with a hint of crushed pistachio. It sounds odd, but that’s exactly what it smells like. Very sweet; I might not wear it myself, but if you love sweets, you’ll adore it.

  • Summary: Kayali’s pistachio but creamier. Nothing more, nothing less, I’ll keep testing it.

  • The most realistic pistachio I’ve ever tried. It starts with a bitter, amaretto-like touch but quickly turns into pure roasted, salty pistachio. The milky note emerges as it dries down. It’s rich, wearable all year round, and even refreshing in summer. Good longevity with moderate projection.
