A photorealistic gourmand chocolate perfume. The opening is super sweet, bordering on cloying, but as it dries down it balances into a darker, creamier chocolate, with the cocoa adding a certain powdery note. It has two phases with no further evolution. This is a winter to autumn scent, or for cool evenings; never in heat as it can be overwhelming. I see it for informal occasions, outings with friends, and romantic settings, as it is cosy, warm, yet sensual. Performance is good, lasting 5 to 8 hours on the skin, projecting well for the first hour and leaving a lovely trail when moving for another 4 to 5 hours. I wouldn’t recommend it as a signature scent, only for special informal occasions. In short, a great gourmand fragrance for chocolate lovers.
I can’t quite put it into words, but I absolutely love it 💖. It’s a rich, chocolatey scent that is very pleasant, warm, and comfy… When I first tried it, I wondered if it was a blend of other perfumes I already owned, but it doesn’t resemble anything in my collection. It’s exquisite and has to be in my collection, especially as a huge chocolate fan. Highly recommended; for the price, it’s a 10 out of 10.

It’s worth acknowledging that chocolate scents are rarely this realistic. Velvet Chocolate is perfect for winter, comforting and pleasant like a hug, reminding us of sweet moments, like a soft cashmere sweater, refined and precious. Wearing it is a sensory delight, intoxicating those around us with a deep, sugary scent that never tires. Intense with a prominent trail, sweet and slightly fruity, with an almost liqueur-like touch at the start. Over time, it becomes darker, a more bitter chocolate. It lasts over eight hours, leaving a faintly vanilla aura in the final two. Probably won’t appeal to everyone, but chocolate lovers will find what they’re looking for, with excellent value for money. Approved.

Chocolate mousse, spot on. Generally, I’ve been disappointed by this brand’s perfumes: they’re very simple and linear. I also tried the pistachio one, which is the Kayali Yum but more realistic. The new marzipan scent leans towards cherry.
