  The citrus opening seemed strong and faded quickly. Afterwards, it left a very peculiar aquatic and salty scent. I know I’ve smelled something identical somewhere else, perhaps in a cream, but I can’t remember where, which exasperates me 😂 It’s a curious fragrance, not what I expected. It’s not my style, but it is interesting. I recommend trying it before buying.

  The citrus opening felt quite strong and faded quickly. What remained was a very peculiar aquatic, salty scent. I’m sure I’ve smelled something identical elsewhere, perhaps in a cream, but I can’t recall where, which just exasperates me 😂 It’s a curious fragrance, certainly not what I expected. It’s not really my style, but it is interesting. I’d recommend trying it before buying.

At the end, there’s the definitive marine tone: crunchy salt and a subtle note of algae (undeclared) that blends with the citrus. Projection: 4 hours. Longevity: 8 hours. Conclusion: Citrusy, aromatic, salty, and marine. The opening might suggest a boring citrus fragrance, but after 30 minutes it becomes salty and marine, strengthening over time with that algae note giving it a rich marine base. A great choice for summer and hot days.

It is beautiful, not overly complex, and suits any occasion and warm weather, especially in summer. Totally unisex, though it wears differently on men and women, so I recommend women try it on skin before buying. I see it as a family perfume, ideal for keeping in the bathroom for everyone to use. It lasts around 7 hours on skin, projecting well for the first two hours before settling into a close personal bubble. Aegean Salt & Citrus is niche at an affordable price, leaving pretentious luxury marine fragrances in the shade.

  This isn’t just a perfume; it’s an experience that brings back the scent of skin after a long day at the beach, lying down with a lemon-scented beer (that’s how I imagine it, and where my nose takes me when I smell it). Longevity: 8/10, moderate (5-7 hours). Sillage: 7/10, moderate (1 hour). Projection: High initially (30 minutes), then fading to become more intimate after four hours. Use 1: Spring/summer, daytime. Use 2: Informal or leisure occasions (it smells fantastic on the beach and evokes the sea), also suitable for the office. Not for formal events. Rating: A solid 8/10, and even higher if you consider it’s affordable (50-60$, perhaps less for those of us living in the EU).

  A ten out of ten for vibe. Although the Kolotinis line is usually gourmand, this Aegean Salt is less indulgent; with its citrus notes, it’s pure pleasure and delivers 100%. Sometimes less is more. It’s salty and citrusy, not aquatic; linear but charming and perfect for the heat. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, yet in its simplicity it feels original in a saturated market. Smells incredible, balanced so the saltiness doesn’t weigh it down. Fresh, almost elegant, and best of all: it’s a quality marine experience everyone will love. Reminds me of salty skin just after a swim in the sea, that plunge into turquoise water, lying on smooth stone under the sun with the breeze. Everything in moderation, no artifice. No sticky algae, no sulphur, no shipwreck woods; just enjoy the sun, sand, and clean sea. Although not declared, it must carry musk and white wood for that subtle, quality fixation. It lasts 6-7 hours with a bubble projection that lingers on clothes. Totally unisex. Highly recommended, whether for yourself or as a gift. Day and evening in summer is its moment.   The scent is brilliant, but watch out: the projection is moderate, barely noticeable after a while. In return, it lasts a long time and up close, it’s absolutely top-tier.
