  Arrived today and it’s very peculiar: the opening is bitter bergamot, without freshness, and almost immediately the sweetness of dates. I don’t detect the rose, but I do smell potent incense and oud. It smells sweet, spicy and vintage. It’s totally unisex, with great longevity and good sillage. I love it, although it’s not for everyone; if you’re looking for niche, oud and different spices, it’s your scent. For the price, it’s a real bargain that rivals expensive fragrances. Leaves a pleasant spicy sweetness on the skin, ideal for those who feel empowered. Surprised me for the better! 🥰

  Beautiful perfume! Very solar and warm. Sweetness wrapped in woods, incense, and oriental fruits. Goes well in spring and autumn, without clashing in winter, day or night. Starts with delicious dates (the first time I’ve sensed this note in a perfume and I love them) and plum. Then the incense, sweetened and lovely, takes the spotlight without overpowering, leading to a woody base of vanilla and amber that lasts hours. It’s a delight from start to finish. Sophisticated, versatile, charming and with personality. It gives me the same feeling as Casmir by Chopard: a morning walk through an Arab bazaar with stalls of dates, incense, and spices under the sun. Bought it blind out of curiosity about the date note and its reasonable price. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Starts with delicious dates (first time I’ve noticed this note and I love it!) and plum. Then the sweetened incense takes the spotlight, leading to a woody base of vanilla and amber that lasts hours. It’s a delight from start to finish: sophisticated, versatile and with personality. It gives me the same feeling as the Casmir by Chopard: a morning walk through an Arab bazaar with stalls of fruits and incense under the sun. Bought it blind for the notes, especially the dates I adore, and for a very reasonable price. Very satisfied with the purchase!

  This perfume resembles Andalusian Soul by The Merchant of Venice like an egg to a chestnut. While Andalusian Soul is gourmand, Suki Essence is basically spicy. Sometimes hunting for clones gets expensive, and this was the case. As Suki Essence was very cheap and I wanted that scent which I ultimately didn’t get with Weil, I tried it. It smells warm and incense-like, not sweet at all, with intense spices, especially cinnamon and a bit of clove. The best thing is its late dry-down. Soft sillage and lasts about 9 hours. It’s pleasant but too dry for me and doesn’t stand out. I’ve worn it all year and it doesn’t change. Maybe it works for layering with vanillas, adding maturity to sweet scents. In the end, I gave it to someone who enjoys it more. It would have been better without my expectations. Scent 5/10, Longevity 9/10, Sillage 6/10, Value 8/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I return? No.

  Bought it blind because someone said it smelled like my beloved Organza Indecense… and yes, it has that dry cinnamon note I loved, but it lacks the knockout power of OI. The sillage is soft; it won’t break your neck, but it’s comforting to have it close, perhaps due to that Indecense memory. The price is fantastic, ideal for sampling or keeping in the back of the cupboard. Perfect for bedtime 😉

  Bought it blind because someone said it reminded me of my beloved Organza by Indecense… and yes, it has that dry cinnamon note so attractive, although it lacks the ‘knock out’ of Indecense. It has soft sillage; it doesn’t break your neck but it’s comforting to smell and feel it close, perhaps due to that Indecense memory. The price is brilliant! It serves for sampling and keeping in the back of the cupboard. Ideal for bedtime 😉
