  I received this perfume in oil format as a gift from a highly appreciated friend of this forum who never misses. The impact was an uncommon, rather strange, metallic scent. I thought of sparkling and sweet cloves; it’s always a good start. Not a single flower. It’s clear this is for the brave and intrepid. I’m sure its name isn’t random; it’s thoughtfully chosen: I can’t imagine Superman wearing a fragrance with geranium, jasmine, or lavender under his cape, even if the superhero confessed one day to Lois that he favours pink. A superhero’s masculinity isn’t like that of any ordinary man. He can wear briefs outside, tall boots, and tights without losing credibility. He’s so alpha that he can afford these liberties without ceasing to be the most macho creature ever to bear on the planet Krypton. This spice and wood-blended aroma could be one of the boldest and most potent that exist, not because it’s strong or excessive, but due to its curious composition of highly masculine ingredients that create a penetrating and mysterious scent, with the power to knock you off your feet for moments, like a blinding flash of lightning in broad daylight. Punchy and with well-deserved potential to be categorised as a rare scent. A rarity that fascinates me and makes me spin a thousand times around the earth without lifting my feet from the ground. Superperfume.

  It’s excellent and projects perfectly. It’s a very pleasant pepper scent, and although today is the first time I’ve worn it, it doesn’t overpower; I received compliments from both men and women. Truthfully, it’s a very good masculine option, with no green or floral notes.

  SUPERMAN AL-REHAB: A rarely exquisite fragrance, a romantic madman, a distinguished poet and master of scents. Mystical, exotic, unique, mysterious, of the new old school, renewed, classic and contemporary, very spiced with a charming and sublime rarity. It smells like a monastery balm, of a religiously millennia-old beauty. The pepper is strong, and the myrrh and woods fuse to take you to a place you know you’ve been to but can’t recall when or where. A strong, robust scent with weight and a very different personality to anything known; its beauty is reminiscent of something you only smell rarely. Simply fantastic, but not for everyone; it’s for connoisseurs. Scent: 10. Projection: Good without being a bomb. Longevity: Impressive. Recommended if you enjoy unusual, extravagant and artistic fragrances.

  There’s little more to add; the previous reviews describe it perfectly. When applied, it smells good, but it’s during the dry-down stage that it truly becomes delicious and intoxicating. On my skin, the blend of myrrh and black pepper stands out, slightly sweetened and tremendously pleasant. The longevity is spectacular, around 11 hours. This is about the 6 ml oil roll-on. Note: if you have Meharées or Musc Ravageur, combine them; you’ll be surprised how well they work together.

  I tried the 6 mL extract and here’s my take: upon application, the spicy, fresh ginger blends beautifully with the pepper. After ten minutes, the resinous myrrh takes over, and hours later, the oud base really shines through. At first, it feels a bit heavy, but it’s enjoyable; that ginger freshness helps lighten the myrrh, pepper, and woody accord. Scent: 9/10. Longevity: 8 to 9 hours (in extract form). Projection: moderate, though it leaves a rich personal bubble.

  I have the 6ml extract and here’s the deal: upon application, it smells spicy and fresh due to the ginger and pepper, but within 10 minutes the resinous myrrh aroma takes over. Hours later, the oud base emerges. At first, it’s a bit heavy, but enjoyable; that ginger freshness lightens the accord of myrrh, pepper, and woods. Scent: 9/10. Longevity: 8-9 hours (extract). Projection: Moderate, leaving a rich personal bubble.

  If you already have experience with Al-Rehab, this is one of their finest, though for beginners you might prefer something simpler. The curious thing is that it smells different on everyone; on me, the pepper explodes at first, then the myrrh emerges, and it dries down to a woody finish, although at certain moments it reminds me of Vick’s VapoRub. It lasts 6-7 hours and projects well for the first two. Suitable for everything except super-elegant occasions.
