Imagine a fine Havana cigar, just the dry leaf, a touch of honey, and wafting it under your nose: aromatic tobacco mixed with a potent sweet. Three sprays are enough for all day, projecting strongly. It stands out more in the cold; in the heat, a single application suffices. For those who know the Red Label cigarette, it smells the same, just with a sweet touch. What a delight.

  • I bought it blind and initially hesitated, but now I see it as a bargain. It smells of honey, very sweet, but the tobacco balances it; I remember throwing away The Most Wanted because it was sweeter. It lasts a long time and projects well. If you can get it cheap, give it a try. I love Dior and since Tabacolor isn’t available here, this was my alternative.

  • I bought it blind and the first impression surprised me: sweet opening (honey), then tobacco (not invasive) and sweet oriental notes. I recommend it for cold weather and nights. Lasts 6h, projects for 1-2h. Perfect for dates or going out with friends. If you like sweet perfumes but not too common, this is your option.

  • Maison Alhambra’s Tabac: no longer sold under its original name due to the lawsuit against Dior; it’s now called ‘Smokey’ by the same brand. It’s a brutal copy of Dior’s Tabacolor. Although the honey suggests sweetness, it isn’t cloying; it’s warm, luxurious, with amber tobacco and smoke that adds an extravagant touch. Exquisite for winter, 100% nocturnal and good taste. A must-have in your collection. Scent: 10. Projection: 2h. Longevity: 6-7h. Recommended.

  • Bought it blind and was pleasantly surprised. At first, it smells sweet (the honey is noticeable), then the tobacco appears (not overpowering) along with some sweet oriental notes. I recommend it for cold weather and evenings. It lasts about six hours with a projection of one to two hours, perfect for dates or going out with friends. If you like sweet perfumes but not the usual ones, this is a great option.

  • Excellent copy of Dior’s Tobacolor at a ludicrous price. Recommended if you enjoy sweet tobacco scents.

  • At first, it smells a bit strange, smoky and not very sweet. Then the plum comes through, along with the peach and honey, making it very sweet, with that bitter tobacco lingering at the base. It leaves a well-rounded fragrance.

  • Does anyone else get the impression of French Avenue’s Cocoa Purple? I’ve just bought the Cocoa version, and this one keeps coming to mind. Based on the notes, I don’t think they match at all.

Delicious from start to finish. Smells of tobacco and honey with a hint of peach. Nothing unusual about it. Lasted around six hours the first time I wore it, but given the price, I don’t mind reapplying. I think it smells better when cold. It’s not loud; it’s more intimate, but for me, it’s a 10/10.

  • BassoProfumo

To be honest, it smells like a women’s perfume from the eighties. It’s not a criticism, just describing how I perceive it.

  • BassoProfumo

Honestly, it smells like an 80s women’s perfume. It’s not a judgment, just my way of describing it.

  • Famous cheap alternative to the expensive Dior Tabacolor. If you’re looking for something intense and warm, it’s worth it. It’s sweet tobacco, fruity, and honeyed. It opens with plum and peach, then moves to pipe tobacco and honey (here more pronounced than in Dior). When dry, it recalls A*Men but with more tobacco. It doesn’t compete in quality with the original, but it’s a great approximation for the price. Ideal for cold weather and nights, dates or going out. Lasts 6-8h and projects strongly at the start. A perfume with a lot of personality for little money.

  • I’m selling or swapping it; I’ve only sprayed it once. I don’t like the mix of honey and liquorice. I live in Seville, 667353315.

  • It’s the budget alternative to Dior’s Tobacolor. If you want something intense and warm, it’s worth it. Smells of sweet, fruity, honeyed tobacco. Opens with plum and peach, then moves to fine pipe tobacco with honey. Note: the honey is stronger here than in the Dior. When it dries down, it reminds me a bit of Mugler’s A*Men but with more tobacco. You can’t compare the quality to the original given the price, but it smells very similar. It’s for cold weather and night, perfect for dates. Lasts 6-8 hours and projects strongly at first. It’s a sweet, potent tobacco scent with lots of personality for very little money.

It’s essentially French Avenue’s Cocoa Purple with the oud swapped for pipe tobacco. If you’re a smoker, you’ll absolutely love it because the burnt tobacco dominates the scent. It smells sweet at first and smoky towards the end. It lasts quite a while on the skin and even longer on clothes. Don’t buy it blindly, as it can be irritating to sensitive noses. Perfect for cold days.

  • Truth be told, it caught me by surprise in the best possible way. The first thing you smell is a rich, dense honey with plum, and the tobacco is barely noticeable.
