Descripción
The Code of Emotion by Francesca Bianchi is a creation from the fruity aromatic family, designed for men and women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, was conceived by the nose Francesca Bianchi. In its opening, bergamot and pink pepper take the first step; the heart reveals a harmony of tropical fruits, lavender and geranium; while the base settles on cedar, vetiver, sandalwood and oakmoss.

How can an intense fougère feature mango? It’s neither a classic fougère nor pure mango, but a clarifying summary. It opens citrusy with spicy notes and a very noticeable fruity sweetness. It’s curious: everything is integrated yet still feels risky. In the middle, there’s sweet lavender and a hint of smoke; at the base, the moss takes centre stage. I like it. It feels like a sweetened Hawaiian vibe, hard to pin down. If you enjoy strong fragrances (made by FB), heavy notes, and a house of cards where moss, lavender, vetiver, and mango are supporting players, you’ll love it. It’s also spicy. I adore it for being unpredictable and a different FB proposal without losing character. Unisex, incredible longevity, summery and beach-ready, very interesting.
It’s distinct, blending fruity, mossy, woody, and herbal notes. The dry-down caught me off guard; I’m not usually a fan of fougères, but this is the one I’ve loved the most so far, even though I wouldn’t buy it.
How to integrate an intense mango fougère. Neither a conventional fougère nor simple mango, but in my view, a lucid summary. It opens with citrus and prominent spices that give it a spicy kick, while the sweet fruity aspect is very noticeable. It’s curious: everything is so well integrated yet it remains bold. In the heart, there’s sweet lavender, a hint of smoke, and oakmoss in the base, which gradually takes centre stage. I like it. It would be like a sweetened liver, or something like that. Finding references is difficult. If you like strong fragrances (made in FB), with heavy notes where oakmoss, lavender, vetiver, and lots of mango—or whatever you associate with tropical fruit—take the lead as supporting players, you’ll love it. It’s also spicy. I like it because it’s hard to place and represents a different FB proposal without losing its character. Unisex, incredible longevity, summery and beach-ready, and I find it interesting.
If smelling good is what matters, The Code of Emotion is a ten. A fougère with mango where the tropical perfectly blends with lavender and oakmoss. It forms something akin to a smoked pineapple accord, but without smoke, incense, leather, or anything gourmand or complicated. Why? It’s simply delicious. Bianchi recommends eight sprays, and yes, it asks for them. It doesn’t become heavy; you can wear it anywhere. It lasts as it should, eight hours or more with a very perceptible bubble, very well measured. High versatility, even at 35°C it works perfectly; in between seasons, it’s ideal. Suits elegant or casual wear, but it shows it’s good and expensive, so in casual settings it requires style or neutral clothing. But that doesn’t matter; a man must dress well. It charms everyone. Every time I’ve worn it, without exception, I’ve noticed positive reactions. It’s a triumph, perfect.
If smelling good is your thing, The Code of Emotion is a ten. It’s a mango fougère that blends tropical notes with lavender and oakmoss, achieving something akin to a smoked pineapple accord but without the smoke, incense, leathers, or anything gourmand or complicated. Why? Because it smells delicious. Bianchi recommends eight sprays, and you’ll order them. It doesn’t feel heavy, suits any occasion, lasts as it should—around eight hours or more with a very perceptible trail—and is very well dosed. Versatility is high; it works perfectly even at 35°C, making it ideal for transitional weather. It goes well with both elegant and casual outfits; however, it does feel good and expensive, so in casual settings it requires a certain style or neutral clothing. But that’s no problem, because a man must dress well. It charms people. Every single day I’ve worn it, without exception, I’ve noticed positive reactions. It’s brilliant. Perfect.
