  • This perfume is pure addiction. The opening is brutally animal; my sister swore it smelled like a barn, and I initially dismissed it with a sharp ‘no’, but then I got hooked. It has citrus facets, creamy floral notes, and sweet, tender nuances that are hard to explain—unique and unmatched (it reminds me of lemon Greek yoghurt, but a sensual, comforting version). You get bursts of cinnamon, vanilla, and what must be sandalwood, vanilla, and tonka bean. After trying the discovery set, I’ve adjusted to the animal side; yes, it smells a bit like a muskrat or a furry coat, but of the pink and cute kind that attracts rather than repels. It’s super feminine, maternal, carnal, evoking nude… yet with an intimate, sensual touch. It’s the quintessential intimate perfume for me; nothing provokes such complex emotions with something so simple (and by simple, I mean nothing). As it dries down, the talc-dusted iris from Francesca emerges, and it’s gorgeous. Incredible because I hate iris, magnolia, bergamot, and perennias xdd, but FB treats these notes with such beautiful creaminess and silkiness. It’s worth the large bottle if you love talc-dusted musks and aren’t scared off by the animal side, but be warned: the animal vibe is very vintage and mature; many associate it with older ladies, but I prefer the image of a warm, sexy hug (I’m 30, just in case). This perfume has just destroyed Narciso.

  • This perfume is a total addiction. The opening is beastly; my sister swore it smelled like a farm, but I disagreed. You get used to it and discover incredible layers. It’s citrusy, creamy floral, sweet and tender, sensual yet indescribable. It reminds me of lemon Greek yoghurt but in a sensual, comforting version. You get bursts of cinnamon and vanilla, surely sandalwood, vanilla, and tonka bean. I’ve already tried the discovery set and got used to the animalic side; yes, it smells a bit like a wild boar or a furry coat, but a chic pink fur coat that attracts rather than repels. It’s super feminine, maternal, carnal, evoking nude but with an intimate touch. It’s the quintessential intimate perfume for me; nothing provokes such complex emotions with something so simple (there’s nothing simple about it). As it dries, it reveals more talc-iris from Francesca, and it’s beautiful. Incredible because I normally hate iris, magnolia, bergamot, and periwinkle, but FB makes them creamy, silky, and gorgeous. It’s worth the big bottle if you like talc-iris and aren’t scared of animal notes, but be careful: it’s very vintage and mature; many see it as a ‘woman’s scent’, but I prefer the image of a warm, sexy hug (I’m 30, just in case). This perfume has just destroyed Narciso.

  • I took a blind buy for two reasons: my favourite YouTuber recommended it highly after learning I love Angel’s Dust, and I wanted to try Francesca’s musk, which has polarising reviews on Fragrantica. On my skin, the first thing I notice is the castoreum and musk; it seems body temperature makes a difference, as today is warm and the scent is fascinating. Within minutes, a sweet, syrupy maple-like accord emerges, with a nutty nuance. After 15 minutes, the talc-like accord advances with power, emphasising the sweetness until it resembles a gourmand fragrance; I can’t stop smelling my wrist. From then on, the scent remains linear with the immortelle and its sweetness; it could become tiring if you dislike sweet fragrances, so I recommend testing on skin before buying blindly.

  • I jumped in blindly for two reasons: my favourite YouTuber recommended it after saying she loved Angel’s Dust, and I wanted to try Francesca’s musk, drawn in by how polarising the Fragrantica comments were. Upon spraying, the first thing I notice is the castoreum and musk. It seems body temperature makes a difference; I tested it on a hot day and wow, how interesting! Within minutes, a sweet, syrupy maple-like accord appears, something ‘nutty’. After 15 minutes, the talc-dusted accord advances with power, highlighting the sweetness, almost like a gourmand—I can’t stop smelling my wrist. From then on, the fragrance stays linear with the perennias and their sweetness; it can get tiring if you don’t like sweet scents, so I recommend testing on skin before buying blindly.

  • This perfume is excellent, with a rich scent, infinite longevity and strong projection. It lasts longer than Angel’s Dust, which fades quickly. If I had to choose one, it would be this Unspoken Musk for its aroma and impressive staying power.

  • Carles Avilés

Starts gently with bergamot and lavender, a golden, herbaceous light that introduces the warm floral magnolia. It is intimate from the very first second, like a whisper drawing near slowly. The iris in the centre provides a velvet texture, and there the deep, human musk takes over, accompanied by very subtle castoreum and civet. It doesn’t smell animalistic but rather like skin: contained emotion, desire, vulnerability. As it dries, it blends patchouli, sandalwood and civetol into a meditative accord, softened by vanilla and tonka bean. It is warm, enveloping, almost spiritual: an imagined, mystical yet carnal musk. Ideal for those seeking introspection rather than impact. A scent that leaves you feeling like a nocturnal confession. In music, it reminds me of Elgar’s ‘Nimrod’ for its humanity or Bill Evans’ ‘You Must Believe in Spring’. If it were a colour, it would be dark amber with ivory flecks.
