A simple, linear fragrance, but nothing less than good and addictive. It gives a sense of cleanliness thanks to that delicious blend of iris at the start, followed by amber and white musk. It’s creamy, pleasant, and has enough projection and longevity to withstand compliments. Perfect for everyday wear or the office, smelling clean. Suitable all year round, though more so in spring and autumn. Unisex, with a certain masculine air. PS: If you changed the bottle and added a famous designer’s name, it would be worth three or four times more. Recommended? Yes, 100×100.

This perfume demonstrates how a single fragrance can be interpreted in opposite ways by two people. My partner finds it soft, ideal for daytime, with a clean scent (not soapy), unisex with a masculine nuance, evoking the change of seasons. I, perhaps by associating iris with nostalgia and warmth, see it as a fresh fragrance for a summer night or autumn (18-20°C), with a personal character (I wouldn’t wear it to the office). For me, it’s totally unisex, but in the sense that it fits neither men nor women. The iris note feels feminine to me, but the dry-down of amber and white musk leans it towards a young man. It’s a perfume I wouldn’t recommend to people over 34-35, especially men. It’s not youthful, but very focused on young people. The base is iris: it opens with iris, dries with ambered iris, and closes with iris. It lasted 5-6 hours on my skin. It has a moderate trail (with 4 sprays, you can smell it at a metre initially), becomes closer after 30 minutes/1 hour (if someone passes by, they smell it, but it doesn’t project), and becomes skin-scent from the 3rd and 4th hour. The price seems brilliant; many think simple things cost less, but at £29.95 it’s very good, especially for the incredibly natural iris, with no trace of chemicals or alcohol. As another said, they could slap a brand name on it and sell it for triple the price. If you’re looking for iris with good longevity and projection, soft and warm like an autumn coffee while walking in your jumper, White Evening is perfect.

For me, perhaps due to the iris bringing nostalgia and warmth, it’s perfect for a summer night or a fresh autumn evening (up to 20°C), with a personal character (I wouldn’t wear it to the office). I don’t see a defined gender; it’s totally unisex, but in the sense that it doesn’t quite fit either men or women.
