Reminds me of Le Labo Another 13 for that neutral touch. It’s very wearable; not a beast and doesn’t project much, but it smells good and improves as it dries. On my skin it lasts a long time, smells clean, and when people come close, they get a crisp whiff. It has nothing to do with the original VL. Feels woody, with a touch of talc and something synthetic, but what more could you ask for? Now I’m testing it cold; in the heat it works wonders.

This is the worst of the ZVL line, lacking any character or identity with zero projection. It’s extremely weak, well below average, and gets completely masked if you’re standing close. I could write a lot more, but it’s not worth the effort. At 20 euros for 100ml, it’s outrageously expensive; Zara has other VLs that are a thousand times better.

I think it’s the worst of the ZVL line – lacking character, identity, and with zero projection. It’s very faint, even weaker than the regular ZVL. If you smell the original, this gets completely overshadowed. I could write a lot, but it’s not worth the effort. 20 euros/100ml is outrageously expensive. Zara has other VLs that are a thousand times better.

I don’t understand what everyone is talking about, but it works brilliantly for me. I applied it at 12:30 and by 19:30, while in a bar with my phone in hand, I could still smell it on my other wrist. As many fragrances don’t work for me, this one is fantastic and smells delicious. A day later, at 15:15, I’m still detecting it close to the skin. Whether you believe it or not, that’s my experience. Besides, it reminds me of the scent of a peach.

With Zara at just €5.95, anyone can try it, but they’ll be let down: it lasts for barely any time, is almost undetectable, and has no trail. What a pity, because with that faint resemblance to Oud, there was no need to dilute a collection that usually scores well.
