It smells very much of watermelon and melon (not listed) at the start, very tropical and summery. I’d say it’s unisex leaning towards masculine. IG @probadoaprobado.

This is a refreshing marvel. Knowing Zara, it will surely disappear soon, so I’ll buy some to keep in reserve. It smells less synthetic than the normal bogoss (which I also love). It doesn’t smell so much of pineapple; it’s ideal for the beach or pool. I think it’s totally unisex due to its fruity and refreshing nature. It’s not a beast in terms of longevity, but it’s very rich.

  • What a refreshing scent for hot days; for this price, there is nothing to complain about. The only drawback is that it lasts as long as a sigh.

  • It’s hard for me to say because I adore it, but the fragrances in the pack (summer + bogoss original) don’t smell the same as those tested in-store, nor are they exactly the same bottles. In the pack, the cap isn’t magnetic and the aroma is much weaker; the bogoss is barely noticeable. In the summer, I sensed a melon note that I didn’t have in-store, although it later changes to that rich watermelon with salty notes. Nevertheless, everything is weaker. I’ll leave them for a few weeks to see if they macerate and improve.

  • It hurts to say this because I love it, but the fragrances in the pack (Summer + original) smell different from the ones in-store and are not exactly the same bottles. On the original, the cap is magnetic, whereas here it is not. They feel much weaker; the original is barely noticeable when applied. On the Summer, I detect a melon note that I did not sense in-store, although it later shifts to that rich blend of watermelon and salt, yet it remains weaker. I will leave it for a few weeks to see if maceration improves it.

  • What a joy to wear this on hot days out on the street. For this price, you can’t ask for more. Pity it lasts only a breath.

I do not recommend the pack. The quality is worse: it comes without a magnetic cap, smells less, lasts less, and is generally more unpleasant.

  • Few arguments defend this when there are similar Lattafa options that are cheaper and longer-lasting. If you pay little, you expect little, but that doesn’t apply here. This perfume should cost 5-6 euros. CK One costs the same, lasts longer, and is a classic. Nobody buys jamón de pata negra if they can’t afford it, but within their budget, choose the best. Bogoss isn’t it.

  • I bought it along with its sister, and although it’s simple, I couldn’t help but share an opinion. Scent: fresh, fruity, summery. Longevity: 5 hours. Projection: 1 hour. Sillage: moderate at first, then soft. Use it in temperate or hot climates for informal situations. It’s like a compact car: not suitable for crossing the desert, but fine for the city. I was hooked by the watermelon, perfect for hot days and casual use. It’s not a clone of CK One or Nautica Voyage, but it has the same vibe. The longevity is acceptable for the price and notes; there are very expensive perfumes that last just as long. Projection is average, better with heat. I use it for the gym, the beach, washing the car, or a relaxed Sunday. It works in the office, but requires reapplication. It’s not the best, nor the worst. If you’re looking for something cheap to add to your collection, give it a chance. I liked it, but I won’t buy it again.

A fresh watermelon opening that blends with pineapple to reveal a soft leather note. Lasts 5-6 hours on the skin, over 8 if stationary, and shines in the heat. The watermelon-leather combination is top-tier, but be careful with the sprays: the leather can become invasive over time. Ideal for the beach and outdoors.

Although the watermelon is noticeable at first, it evolves into a bogoss that smells very much like Versace EAU de Fraiche. In the end, those smoky notes make the difference. To me, it’s a Versace with smoked pineapple. It smells great, very summery, though not new.

  • It smells like watermelon, honestly, I can’t detect any other notes. Honestly, you don’t expect much for the price. 7/10. Very good for the heat, it got me lots of compliments at school.

  • Leonardo-Ramirez

I love it. The notes don’t list cucumber, but I get a cucumber note with watermelon and a bit of sea salt. For me, it’s an 8/10 and for the price, I think it’s well worth trying.

  • It’s a perfect perfume for summer, for its price and for its variety of notes. An opening with a spectacular watermelon aroma, which then holds but blends into a rich pineapple. These are basic notes that don’t take risks but are well-executed, which is sometimes what you have to do.

  • I’ve received more compliments on the Bogoss Summer than on the original, though you won’t believe it, it has greater projection, trail, and longevity, and is liked more for its watermelon 🍉 and pineapple 🍍 touch with a hint of saltiness 🧂. I own both. But for me, that perfume projects a lot with the heat; it’s a very good fragrance for tropical climates and for the summer season.

A very interesting proposal from Zara for summer. It smells fresh, rich, and in the base comes out a scent listed as watermelon but which I think is melon; mixed with pineapple, it works very well in spring and summer. The fragrance comes out pulsating, salty, ozonic, very fresh, and improves with the dry-down which turns it into something more serious and rich… A different Vibrant Leather but with a very Vibrant Leather base. For me, it’s a great perfume if it weren’t for the fact that it doesn’t last long, but for the price, it’s very good… An 8 out of 10.

  • I have received more compliments on the Bogoss Summer than on the original; in fact, it has better projection, trail, and longevity. I love its touch of watermelon, pineapple, and salt. I own both, but this one shines in tropical climates and summer.

Vibrant Leather Bogoss Summer by Zara: Without being too demanding, I’d say it smells good, is pleasant to wear, and has its own character. Definitely, some will find it not very new or say there are better options. However, somehow it stands out: this week several people asked me what I was wearing, and it was a pleasant surprise, as I didn’t even expect it myself. It seems something so simple can achieve good results. In my experience, it has been totally positive. I’m not saying it’s groundbreaking, a hidden gem, or the best perfume, but it has been striking, pleasant, and very enjoyable. To my perception, it doesn’t smell exactly of watermelon, but the fruity part combined with the aquatic notes makes it very balanced and attractive. It’s fresh, luminous, and cheerful. Performance is normal, it doesn’t disappoint. Scent: 9.0. Projection: 2 hours well. Longevity: 5–6 hours max. Recommended.

  • Ugh, I’m back to being young! It transports me to 2005, when I used Versace Eros (often associated with the Jeans line), another very fresh fragrance. It’s youthful but wearable in the heat. The opening is pleasant, though I think it’s short for the wearer, as others can smell it from 2 metres away. It changes exactly as expected with the order of its notes. I rate it as very good. Please note that 2–4 hours for its price in Mexico (400 pesos or 20 dollars) is excellent and sufficient for an outing or heading to work after a shower. It doesn’t saturate or impose itself; it’s simply pleasant, much like a Versace Pour Homme.

  • Honestly, it lasts very little. It has a fresh opening with a sweet touch, I think of watermelon. As it dries down, it loses some sweetness and that initial citrus brightness, becoming something different and, for me, almost better. I love the dry-down. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I seem to lose it when I spray it.

  • Ufff, I felt like I was 19 again, just like in 2005 with the Versace Man Jeans, another fresh scent. It is youthful yet wearable in the heat; its opening is pleasant, although I believe it is too short for the wearer, as others can smell it from two metres away. It changes the order of its notes exactly as expected. I rate it as very good: at its price in Mexico (400 pesos or 20 dollars), it lasts 2 to 4 hours, excellent for an outing or going from the shower to work. It does not saturate, does not impose, it simply results in a pleasant experience, much like a Versace Pour Homme.

  • I received this blind because it’s not sold here. I’d already loved the Bogoss, but since this is more ozonic and aquatic, I decided to give it a go. At first, I thought: ‘No! What have I bought?’. But within 5–10 minutes, it transforms: it becomes sweet, tropical, and fruity. It’s an invigorating fragrance that puts you in a good mood. In winter at 15°C, it makes you feel like you’re in summer. Indoors, there are constant bursts for 5–6 hours; outdoors, it’s noticeable for the first half-hour and then seems to disappear, but I think it’s just olfactory fatigue and the wind. The only thing missing is trying it in spring and summer. For the price, it’s a 9 for me.

What a delight for summer! It’s good, looks great, and incredibly cheap. Lasts about 6 hours, projects strongly, and the trail works wonderfully; for the price, it beats many designer brands. After trying it more, I’ve found it’s not just for summer—it’s also brilliant for spring and the early days of autumn. It feels lovely close to the skin for 6+ hours and is very casual: perfect for meeting friends, grabbing a coffee with your girlfriend, going shopping, or for a walk.
