  • Something strange happens with this perfume: part of me thinks the notes don’t quite fit, but another part can’t stop smelling it and wants to rush out and buy a bottle. It’s very floral with lots of coffee, a sweet creamy base, and a heavy load of chocolatey patchouli. There’s a smoky touch, perhaps tobacco leaves. The result is original; I’m not sure if it’s pretty, but so intriguing that it left me marvelled. It smells like a night out at a club, a shared cigarette, mystery, and seduction. I believe it’s totally unisex. Projection is moderate and lasts around seven hours. In my collection, the only similar scent is Rihanna’s Rebelle, which has cocoa, coffee, and patchouli but is much sweeter, fruitier, and easier to wear if you like patchouli. I still haven’t decided whether to buy a full bottle; it’s so unusual that it deserves to be tested. You’ll either love it or hate it, but it won’t leave you indifferent. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 7/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 6/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy it again? No, I didn’t.

As Taurien says, it’s a chocolatey patchouli bomb with coffee grounds. For me, nothing sweet at first; only after four hours of drying down do you catch hints of whipped cream and woods, but until then, I can’t stand it. I can’t judge the projection because I only dare to spray a couple due to its potency, and the longevity is 6–7 hours, fading right up against the skin by hour four. It’s totally unisex and suited to cold climates. You’ll love it if you’re passionate about scents like Tom Ford’s Black Orchid or Noir de Noir. It’s not my cup of tea, unfortunately.

  • Agree with those who’ve already said it: jasmine, coffee, and a well-chocolatised patchouli. The base is sweet, creamy, woody, and resinous, with hints of labdanum and tonka bean. As @Taurien points out, to my nose it reminds me of a fusion between Rihanna’s Rebelle (though this one is softer, the other is quite a beast) and Yves Rocher’s Sable Fauve. A totally unisex scent, ideal for cold days. Projection and sillage are moderate, lasting 6–7 hours on the skin. It didn’t seem strange or difficult to wear; I liked it quite a bit, though not enough to add it to my collection.
