Cocoa Woods by Nest is a woody-spicy fragrance for men and women. This composition, created by perfumer Alberto Morillas and launched in 2018, unfolds a scent pyramid where top notes of vanilla, cardamom and bergamot give way to a heart of patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla, settling on a base of cedarwood, vanilla and patchouli.

If you live in Mexico, you’ve surely eaten ‘Bocadín’ chocolate biscuits, the ones always found in piñatas. My first impression is that it smells just like those biscuits, a very rich scent. I wish it stayed this way, because I’m not a fan of its floral phase. To my taste, it becomes extremely feminine. If it retained more of that chocolatey character, I would prefer it over Uomo by Salvatore Ferragamo, as here the chocolate feels less dusty and of better quality.
If you enjoy a cocoa scent, this is for you. From the very first moment, it smells of fresh cocoa fruit, cocoa flower, with a touch of tiaré and sandalwood. It’s a floral cocoa, with sandalwood and a slight, sweet kick from ginger. This perfume has something that instantly lifts my mood; as soon as I wear it, my spirits change. You have to use a small amount, or it can become overpowering. For me, it was a great purchase; I will definitely buy another bottle.
