A dreamy tea scent, fresh with a touch of sweetness. Fig and tea leaves dominate, accompanied by a very soft cardamom. It recalls summer green colognes but with more body. It’s relaxing, enveloping, and has a slightly damp quality that suits rainy days perfectly.
I tried Indigo with a Sephora sample without many expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the fresh fruity opening; I clearly detected the tea, and the longevity was incredible: about two hours of projection and seven hours on the skin. I’ll definitely buy the full size without hesitation.
I’m not usually a fan of fruity perfumes unless they’re green, and this has that aspect. Indigo opens with a moderate blackberry sweetness and a sparkling minty note that then fades; from the start, I identified it as tea. The sweetness isn’t gourmand or heavy. I don’t detect the fig isolated; it blends into that green fruity base. Longevity and projection are medium/low, but the scent is top-notch, very similar to Poets of Berlin. The cardamom adds a spicy touch, but, being a spice bomb fanatic myself, it doesn’t dominate here. I love it.

It smelled wonderful on an older lady, but on me it was far too potent. I gifted it to my husband and it suits him perfectly. They say it’s unisex, but to me it feels more masculine: a strong, original scent that lasts for ages and leaves a trail. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something different, but do try it before buying.

It’s relatively sweet, but not in the traditional way; rather, it has a subtle, hard-to-define sweetness. Ideal for going out at night, though it can also be worn during the day. Given its intensity, it’s better suited for special occasions than everyday wear. Longevity is excellent, lasting me around 8 or 9 hours, although this depends on individual chemistry. In Mexico, it’s moderately priced, even cheap compared to Chanel, YSL, or Jo Malone, and comes in various sizes. I recommend it to anyone tired of the overly sweet scents in the new Miss Dior versions.
I visited Sephora in my city for the first time yesterday and was attended to wonderfully. They let me try several perfumes on blotter paper until my sense of smell was saturated; of course, they give you coffee beans to refresh it. Towards the end, they showed me Indigo, first on paper and then on skin. Wow, I loved it: a fruity opening with fig, followed quickly by a spicy note. It feels like a rich yet subtle sweetness, nothing cloying. It’s one of those scents you don’t want to stop smelling. Excellent longevity, over 12 hours, and I could still detect it the next day, albeit less strongly. It’s an eau de parfum, highly recommended. They even gave me a decant, which I need for my collection. If you get the chance, try it; you won’t regret it. Best wishes from Guadalajara, Mexico.
