  Z Zegna Extreme has an absolute masculine tenor. The middle notes are so dominant they act as a lead quartet in the performance of this formidable fragrance. Rose, patchouli, and gin create an uncommon harmony. It is a rose, a cardamom, but above all, gin aged in a cashmere wood barrel. The result is energy, positivity, and masculine punch. Perfect for when winter fades and hot days arrive; it has simple evolutions that I appreciate. Its scent is beautiful, pristine, and dazzling. Women love it! I confirmed it the first time I wore it. It serves in three seasons and in polluted environments; if it’s hot, it behaves like a lit incense stick. Is it worth it? It has a certain resemblance to Ralph Lauren’s Big Pony 1, Nautica Competition, and especially Aramis New West, a revelation of the 90s. But the performance of this Z Extreme is punchy, challenging, and symbolises masculinity with class, style, and modernity.

  I want to clarify that cashmere wood does not exist exactly as described; that molecule is a laboratory synthetic. It has a very rare smell and is classified as musky-woody-spicy. In fact, it has been ‘christened’ cashmeran.

  The best fragrance Zegna has ever created. It is a masterpiece where the strange and peculiar notes of gin and cardamom dominate over a background of ‘cold’ wood, creating a spectacular and otherworldly blend. It should never have been discontinued. I am a proud owner of two bottles of this unicorn, and on eBay, a 100ml bottle already goes for $400.

  The best fragrance Zegna has ever created. It is a masterful masterpiece where the strange and peculiar notes of gin and cardamom predominate against a backdrop of ‘cold’ wood, giving a spectacular blend of otherworldly aromas. It should never have been discontinued, and the truth is I am a proud owner of two bottles of this unicorn, where on eBay a 100ml bottle already reaches $400.

  Z Zegna Extreme is an aromatic fragrance, slightly spiced and woody. Its opening reminded me immediately of the classic Z Zegna ADN, but with nuances that make it different. To start, this Extreme version handles the citrus differently: they aren’t sparkling, but rather diffuse; they remain fresh, yet there’s a gin accord that sits above the citrus. A few minutes later, the rose note is perceived, adding a very masculine aromatic character, similar to how Gucci does it in Guilty Eau de Parfum. This accord lingers until the end, paired with a base of cashmere wood and vetiver. On my skin, it lasted very well for over 8 hours with a regular yet noticeable trail. It is a fragrance for intermediate seasons, spring and autumn; what a shame it can no longer be obtained, as the scent is quite pleasant. I tried it thanks to a decant I got from my friend @MarcusRS.

  Z Zegna Extreme smells of aromatic scents with a touch of spice and wood. At first, it reminded me of the classic Z Zegna, but with distinct nuances. Here, the citrus notes aren’t sparkling, but rather diffuse; they remain fresh, yet there’s a gin accord that overlays them. A few minutes later, the rose emerges, giving it a very masculine aromatic character, similar to Gucci Guilty Eau de Parfum. This scent lingers until the end, paired with a base of cashmere wood and vetiver. On my skin, it lasted over 8 hours with a regular yet noticeable trail. It’s ideal for spring and autumn; what a shame it’s no longer available, as it smells fantastic. I tried it thanks to a decant passed on to me by @MarcusRS.
