  • I was undecided when buying it. The box and bottle are fuchsia with sparkles, the spray nozzle is too, and it says ‘energizing eau de toilette’ – perhaps it’s a limited edition. It smells different from other scents in the range: starts intense and dense, minty and fruity, then honey emerges, reminding me of Aura and Angel by Mugler. The honey becomes dominant later, so it needs to be used moderately as it’s quite strong. In the end, it leaves a fresh trail with that minty honey note returning. I liked it; it’s different. I love minty scents; Cacharel Eden remains my favourite.

  • I have a question: which fragrance are they referring to when they say ‘DKNY Torre Mujer’? There’s a real lack of creativity with the bottles. The opening is an intense citrus, very similar to CK One.

  • Not even close… It’s extremely weak and lacks any personality. The alcohol sting is too harsh and the scent is barely noticeable. I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • It doesn’t suit me at all. It feels very thin, lacks character, and the alcohol stings terribly. The scent is weak, and I won’t be buying it again.

  • Absolutely love it – super refreshing and clean, gives me a real boost of energy and feels different. Perfect for hot days, daily wear, sport or the beach. On my skin, the citrus and white florals really shine through, while that liquor note adds a special touch without being overpowering – exactly what gives it that energy. Lasts over 8 hours with a soft trail that perks up with sweat. Give it a try; for me, it’s a winner.

  • Delicious, I love it – very energetic and smells like mandarin. Extremely long-lasting and different, a fragrance with true personality.

  • Delicious, I love it. It’s very energetic and smells of tangerine, very long-lasting and different, a fragrance with personality.

  • It smells clean, but a clean citrus, very fresh. A fragrance that refreshes you and makes you feel great, very suitable for hot climates and high temperatures. Its aroma intensifies with sweat and heat, which is curious. Personally, I love it; I’m smelling it for hours and it lasts days on clothes.

  • Smells clean, but in a fresh citrus way. A fragrance that refreshes you and makes you feel great, ideal for warm climates and high temperatures. Its scent intensifies with sweat and heat, which is quite curious. Personally, I adore it; I’m smelling it for hours and it lasts days on clothes.

  • By the way, there’s an error on Fragrantica. On the DKNY Women Energizing page, there’s a photo of DKNY Alto, and on the DKNY Woman page, there’s the Woman Energizing; the images are swapped. My perfume has an obvious tomato note; I’ve also seen reviews for the Tower (the Alto). Look for the review by Ángeles Parfum on Top Perfumes Frescos; that will clarify things, but I’ll tell you, the notes are listed on the Women Energizing page, although they belong to the one in the photo called just Woman, which contains the tomato leaf note.

  • I agree it’s very pleasant and fresh. The downside is that it has poor longevity, at least on me; I have to apply several sprays to make it last longer. Nevertheless, I like it and I wear it at night too, as I find it relaxing.

There’s a mistake in this review! The bottle of this sample is fuchsia and doesn’t match the published details. Please correct this because the scents are totally different. The Energizing is sweet, floral, and quite spicy; I bought it on promotion and it wasn’t what I was looking for.

I read good reviews and went to buy it, but I made a mistake and picked the limited edition in the pink box, the only Energizing variant they had. It was nothing like what I was looking for, which is the one in the silver box. They say they’re about to delist it to reformulate and remove that impressive strength and sparkle. Perhaps that’s why it’s so hard to find. In the end, I got it online and… wow, what a marvel! It won me over at the first spray. I love citrus, especially for summer, and I usually struggle to keep scents lasting more than 15 or 20 minutes, even with expensive brands like Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, Loewe Agua de Mar de Coral, or Dior Portofino. For years I used Eau de Rochas, a real gem, until they reformulated it and took away its soul and longevity. I think I’ve finally found an original, modern citrus with great longevity, about four hours on my skin—a miracle! At first, it’s impactful, a blast of icy vodka and lemon that leaves you speechless. Once it dries down, the tomato leaf notes emerge, followed faintly by floral notes, especially the orchid, as if floating above that super refreshing vodka and lemon cocktail that stays consistent. It seems super original and energising for summer. For those who like citrus and refreshing scents with body and personality, I heartily recommend the DKNY Women Energizing in the silver box before they delist it without mercy. I’m going to buy a refill just in case. It’s a real treat.

I had read very good reviews and went to a perfumery to buy it, but I made a mistake and picked the pink box limited edition, the only Energizing one they had. Nothing like what I was looking for, which is the silver box version. Online they say they’re going to discontinue it, perhaps to reformulate and reduce that impressive strength and spark. Maybe that’s why it was so hard to find. In the end, I bought it online and… wow, what a delight! It conquered me at the first spray. I love citrus, especially for summer, and I can’t get any of them to last on my skin beyond 15 or 20 minutes, even if they’re from good brands and expensive ones like Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana, Agua de Mar by Loewe or Portofino by Dior. For years I used Eau de Rochas, a wonder, until they reformulated it and took away its soul, that spark and great longevity. I think with this one I’ve finally found a very original, modern citrus with great staying power; on my skin it lasts about 4 hours, a miracle! At first, it’s a bit impactful, with an explosive opening of frozen vodka and lemon that leaves you speechless. As it dries down, you detect tomato leaves and then faintly flowers, especially orchid, as if floating over a very refreshing vodka and lemon cocktail that remains constant. I think it’s a super original and energising perfume for summer. For those who like citrus and refreshing scents with body and personality, I heartily recommend the silver box DKNY Women Energizing before they discontinue it or reformulate it without mercy. I’m going to buy a refill just in case. It’s a true treat.

  • Rodrigo te lo digo

It has been reformulated in Chile. It no longer has the potency or longevity it had a few years ago… what a shame; it was spectacular in my opinion as a man’s scent.

  • rodrigo1995

I don’t know this fragrance, but I was keen to get it. Is it true as my fellow Chilean says below if they reformulated it? I’m from Chile… the doubt strikes me because I know they reformulate fragrances every so often, when perfumes on the shelves start to fade into oblivion. I should mention that in Chile, counterfeiting is rampant, even in large department stores they’ve found fakes… I don’t know what to believe.

  • rodrigo1995

I don’t recognise it, but I was keen to buy it. Is it true they’ve reformulated it as my compatriot says? I’m from Chile and I’m worried because fakes are rampant here, even in big stores. I don’t know what to believe.

  • I can spot it in a crowd, but that citrus and vodka blend just isn’t for me; I honestly can’t stand it.

People shouldn’t be surprised that I make a mess with the damn matte white DKNY towers. So many flankers of the classic DK Women, so many seasonal summer and autumn versions, man, women with minimal differences, now the EDT, now the EDP, now the EDC; it has made more than one person make a mistake without meaning to, and if you don’t test it properly in a perfumery and check the bottle, you might buy the wrong tower. Who’s to blame? It’s the company itself for playing tricks on our noses and confusing us. This DKNY Women Energizing is citrusy and summery, like the other dozens of towers from the house. I see it as totally unisex. Really, this very feminine citrus isn’t. Extreme freshness, with strength and longevity, things that separate it from the classic lemon-based colonials. The vodka and birch notes make it unique and distinctive. Good above all for summer.

  • What a mess with DKNY Women. No one can make heads or tails of it. I think they discontinued the classic EDT and EDP, and now those fragrances are called ‘Energizing’, but nothing has to do with the fuchsia Energizing they launched before. I’m about to try this EDT to see if it’s the citrus unisex everyone always talks about, because the EDP is floral and very feminine.

At first, there’s a very pleasant and real citrus aroma, like a bowl full of lemon, lime, bergamot, and grapefruit slices. Gradually, as it dries down, a greenness of freshly cut leaves appears with a certain distant nectar, as if it had honey, but very subtle; they must be the violet leaves. They remind me of tender freshly cut flowers. Everything is mixed with a particular alcohol scent that reminds me a lot of Mrs Taylor’s Sparkling White Diamonds. It’s an alcohol mixed with flowers and a woody base that gives a clean smell, and yes, this evokes that fragrance. That said, I prefer Mrs Taylor’s; it’s more feminine and the olfactory path is better. DKNY Energizing says it has florals, but I don’t feel them; they fade with the vodka note, which is the most I perceive and slightly overwhelms me. Besides, it seems very masculine. I’ll see how it evolves in the middle of summer with 40 degrees. So far, it’s a resounding no and a waste of money.

  • Paula Marina

Refreshing and well-citrusy; I detect the tangerine very much, very juicy. There’s a green note I can’t identify, but it’s very nice. It lasts 5 to 6 hours on my skin.

  • It’s a clean, very masculine unisex citrus, despite being marketed as feminine. I don’t detect the florals in the composition. It’s not a sweet lemon like Light Blue or Funny by Moschino; the path is very refreshing but distinct from what I usually wear. I recommend testing before buying.

  • Super fresh; the citrus notes and florals like violets complement each other to give a super energetic and summery aroma. The longevity is short. Ideal for daily use.

  • It was my favourite perfume. It lasted many hours; that delicious citrus scent gave me energy and elegance. Besides, I loved the transparent tower-shaped bottle. It cost me a lot to find a citrus that didn’t suffocate and didn’t have wood or florals (I hate them). They told me they were going to discontinue it, but I could always get it. This year, 2025, I went to a Paris store in Santiago de Chile, and to my surprise, they changed the bottle: it’s still a tower but more transparent, and the perfume doesn’t last at all; it seems diluted or a copy. I paid around $62. I won’t buy it again. I just hope to find one as good as the previous one.

  • It was my favourite perfume; it lasted for hours and that citrus note gave me energy and elegance. Plus, I loved the transparent tower bottle. It was hard to find a citrus scent that didn’t suffocate or have woody or floral notes (I hate them). Years ago, they told me it was being discontinued, yet I could always find it. This year, in 2025, I went to a Paris store in Santiago and, to my surprise, the packaging had changed: the bottle is still a tower but more transparent, and the perfume doesn’t last at all, seeming diluted or like a copy. I paid around $62 and don’t think I’ll buy it again. I just hope to find one as good as the original again.

  • If you’re looking for something fresh, interesting, and memorable for everyday wear, this DKNY is a great option. It smells incredible and lasts longer than expected for a citrus and herbal perfume. The aroma is green with a special touch of tomato. It’s totally unisex and suits any occasion, though it shines in spring and summer. I wear it all year round. It’s perfect for work, uni, or for feeling attired at the gym. It’s what Maison Margiela From the Garden wishes it could be: it lasts twice as long, smells better, and is cheaper.

  • I never tried the 1999 version, perhaps because DKNY isn’t my favourite brand, except for Fresh Blossom. How glad I didn’t, because I’ve heard that one was better and I would have been disappointed. This version is super refreshing, citrusy, and green all at once. It’s autumn and in my city it’s still 30 degrees, so I can wear it. I think it’s unisex, though I see it as more feminine. I picked it up for 765 Mexican pesos, around $41.50. A good buy to steer clear of common citrus scents.

  • I used to wear it a lot, but now when I smell it, I find it disgusting and run away immediately. It smells sweet mixed with citrus, and it just doesn’t work for me.

  • I used it quite a bit, but now when I smell it, I rush out in a hurry because it makes me feel nauseous. It feels slightly sweet mixed with citrus, which doesn’t match at all.
