Queen of Seduction

Descripción
Queen of Seduction by Antonio Banderas is an aquatic floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2016, this composition features an aquatic freshness accompanied by grapefruit and raspberry in its top notes. The heart of the fragrance reveals a delicate bloom of peony and jasmine, enriched by the elegance of iris and the piquancy of pink pepper. To finish, the base notes awaken with the warmth of suede, the woodiness of cedar, and the sensuality of amber.

I recently bought it in a cream and backpack kit. The fragrance is very fresh, revitalising, and energising; I use it a lot for work and have received good feedback. The base notes are clean woods, a bit sober, almost masculine, but not too much, thanks to the amber and a bouquet of flowers that is appreciated in the Antonio Banderas line. The feminine element is there without being sweet or cloying; it manages to attract in a good way. I think I like it more for spring and summer; I’ve found it holds up for about seven hours on skin without issues, something Acqua di Gioia doesn’t do. Despite the latter’s prestige regarding similarities, I find that Queen of Seduction is more like Dolce than Acqua, but every skin’s pH is different. In my case, I recommend it widely along with its moisturising cream. They seem to be fairly priced for the work they do on the skin.
I’m a lover of fruity, sweet, and fresh aromas; Light Blue didn’t suit me; I felt it lacked femininity. With this fragrance, I felt very comfortable: feminine, but not sweet. The aquatic notes predominate hugely, along with the citrus. I tried it on the Millanel imitation (an Argentine brand) and liked it, so I opted for the original. I noticed the imitation is identical, even lasting longer than the original. I considered buying it for the bottle, but I desisted due to usage. It’s all-rounder: the fragrance rises from the neckline, like a sea breeze, clean, slightly citrusy, sweet, and velvety. I use it in climates of 40 degrees with 90% humidity and it’s a treat; it makes me feel freshly showered for about eight hours and lasts a long time on clothes. It’s very economical. If you like aquatic fragrances, I invite you to try it.
It’s very similar to Acqua di Gioia, but in a softer and more economical version. It’s a charming fragrance, a pleasant surprise from the Antonio Banderas line.
Upon smelling it straight from the atomiser, I thought: ‘wow, it reminds me of Giorgio Armani’s’. Then, once applied to the skin, I noticed a note that makes it different. It’s been five hours now, and it’s impressive that there’s still a trail. It’s very good.
I bought it based on reviews because it was incredibly cheap in a kit. What can I say? I relied on comments saying it was similar to Acqua di Gioia but a cheaper version. I still use it sometimes for the day, but to be honest, I don’t find much point in it. It’s synthetic, smells fresh, has a physical appearance similar to Armani’s in colour and bottle, but… for me, it just smells synthetic and fresh. It’s fine for the price. These are low-range perfumes at economical prices; I don’t expect them to resemble an Armani, I only bought it based on comments, but otherwise, it’s fine for the price.
It’s my current fragrance; I have a love-hate relationship with it. It’s not my favourite, but I don’t detest it either. The burst of jasmine doesn’t appeal to me and doesn’t last long on my skin, so I won’t be buying it again. Edit: I’ve been using it for a month, and something has captivated me; I feel it’s softer and more delicate than my first impression; it has won me over.
A toilet water that’s brilliant for the day, spring and summer, and daytime moments. I don’t see it for elegant occasions, but it’s unobtrusive, feminine, cheerful, and fun. It’s summery, but for the city rather than the beach: perfect for shopping, going out with friends, or public-facing work. I agree it smells synthetic, but you can’t ask for more at this price. The longevity and projection fit a toilet water: it projects for an hour and a half, lasts five hours on skin, and up to seven or eight hours on clothes. Ideal for daytime use. If I had to assign a character, it would be Diane Kruger as Abigail Chase in ‘The Hunt’: feminine and adventurous; it would suit her perfectly. The marked notes are everything except jasmine and amber. It starts citrusy with the grapefruit, then the aquatic notes emerge with raspberry, giving way to a spicy, woody, powdery peony from the iris and suede. I imagine cedar wood with suede floating on water, with peonies among raspberries and grapefruits, sprinkled with pepper and iris powder. It’s perfect for those who like citrusy, fruity-floral, and feminine scents; although it’s synthetic, it tends to please many people.
I’m not usually a fan of Banderas fragrances, but I must admit I’ve really enjoyed this one. I can’t help but think of Acqua di Gioia, just softer, more everyday, and very pleasant. It’s a little sweeter, and that makes all the difference. I’m not saying it’s a clone, but if you like that line, it’s an affordable and good option. I love the bottle; great work. Another one with the three Bs.
An exquisite summer fragrance, ideal for mornings and refreshing spritzes on hot afternoons. It smells super citrusy with a hint of pepper and a soft warmth from the amber. It smells like Acqua di Gioia for only the first half an hour; Queen of Seduction stays warmer, whereas the original keeps its mint and freshness for longer. A good cheap dupe. Lasts about five hours on skin; I use it as a body mist and room freshener because it revitalises me. Recommended 8/10.
Delicious, and if you take a closer look, it’s the version of the dark green cap from AdG. The reformulation didn’t convince me at all, but this one is affordable, long-lasting, and I absolutely love it. I’ll be buying it again, preferably in a set like I just did. Thanks, Antothy Flags.
Citrusy and strong. I like it because citrus notes usually don’t last long, but this one lasts about six hours with an excellent trail. Then another four hours on the skin. Excellent value for money… better quality than the price suggests. Recommended for those who like Acqua di Gio, Tommy Girl, or similar fragrances.
AMAZING! It’s a 10/10 with excellent value. Very good fixative and aroma… wow! Very delicate; you can tell it’s aquatic and floral in just the right measure. In the end, it feels slightly powdery, with that sparkling grapefruit/raspberry sweetness; I love it. I recommend it highly; I can’t stop smelling it; it fascinates me. Edit: Excellent in summer, very versatile for everyday wear. Feels aquatic and sweet at first, very rich.
I loved it; super fresh, citrusy with a sweet floral touch, very feminine and ideal for summer. I’d buy it again; I give it 10/10. I really liked its scent; highly recommended.
I love it; it was a gift from my boyfriend and he notices I’m wearing it every time. It has good longevity. It’s aquatic, floral with a soft, fruity sweet touch. I wear it during spring and summer. It’s a clean scent that stands out for its notes and trail, making it unique and different.
Nice aroma. I agree that it resembles Acqua di Gioia quite a bit when dry, but the opening reminds me of Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea. I don’t sense much projection, or perhaps it’s just my nose, but I can still smell it intact on clothes. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended if you like fresh fragrances.
Potent with a good trail for its price. It’s rich but very strong for me, super citrusy. It settles in minutes and leaves an aquatic scent.
I looked for this as an alternative to Acqua di Gioia before the reformulation (with the round cap) and was surprised by the similarity. It’s very aquatic and citrusy; not everyone likes that blend. The trail isn’t long; after a few hours it fades, and the longevity on clothes doesn’t match Armani’s, but given the price in Argentina, it’s more than a pass mark.
It’s aquatic as they say, but to me it feels like a cheap perfume that smells expensive. Comparing it to Acqua di Gioia, the new formula resembles the original more, and they dry down similarly, but this (Queen of Seduction) doesn’t last as long on my skin. Applying moisturiser beforehand helps; for some it lasts about four hours. The trail is noticeable for an hour, then fades. On clothes, it lasts all day. Ideal for summer; very fresh and rich. Brilliant for a hot afternoon or evening. It’s good and accessible, but test before buying blindly. By the way, Art de Natura is very similar to Queen’s dry-down, though not identical, and Queen has similarities with Armani Acqua di Gio.
My go-to for going out and special occasions: super feminine and refined. It’s one of the best I’ve tried. Being aquatic, it smells wonderful; people praise it and it lasts a long time on skin and clothes. Definitely the best in the Antonio Banderas line.
Initially the trail is potent, then it mellows slightly but lasts around six hours depending on the weather. A soft scent that I absolutely adore.
Hello! I tried this fragrance today and found it familiar; I wasn’t sure if I was mistaken, so I asked my mum and she confirmed it’s similar to Elizabeth Arden’s Arden Beauty. What a coincidence. Personally, I do like it; it doesn’t have a huge trail but it’s a good fragrance. Best wishes!
It didn’t win me over, but it’s a rich fragrance, very floral and fresh, with no citrus notes (which I appreciate). It’s very feminine, elegant and summery. The trail and longevity are average. I’d give it a 7 out of 10.
I liked it; it’s fresh and slightly sweet. I prefer it for late afternoon or evening in mild or cold weather. It lasts about six hours and projects well; I applied it in the car with a friend and we had to roll down the windows due to the massive trail for four hours. Then it fades, but it smells elegant.
I like it, although it doesn’t last too long. For the price, it’s excellent. It reminded me of Un Jardin sur le Nil by Hermès.
The new Avon perfume from the Today, this Love 2021 line is very similar; they even share the same notes. The differences are subtle, but in both, the grapefruit dominates. I like both; they’re perfect for hot summers.
Change of heart: I loved it at first, but after a week I was fed up. It’s too tea and lemon; it bores me because it lacks any evolution. It smells good but I’d only use it to freshen up after a shower or before bed. I still prefer Blue Seduction Woman for summer.
The opening notes are unbearable; nothing like Acqua di Gioia. It doesn’t actually smell bad once it dries down, but I have to wait ten minutes to feel that captivating aroma. I don’t think it’s worth the hype.
I bought it based on reviews here and was disappointed. It smells nice but lasts only an hour on my skin. It’s strange because my pH isn’t bad; I feel I wasted money on something that doesn’t work for me and apparently doesn’t last for others either. I’ll stick with Avon Hinode and Natura, which last longer.
I loved it; it’s the perfect blend of citrus and sweet. The longevity is moderate, around three hours, ideal for hot days. I’ve finished a bottle; although it’s cheap, I’ll wait for a sale before buying another. I want to make sure it’s always in my vanity.
It fades quickly on my skin, lasting barely an hour, but the scent is rich, aquatic and super refreshing.
The scent gives me nausea. The citrus smells artificial. At first I liked it a lot, but after a while it becomes annoying. The smell is flat and doesn’t evolve; the defined notes aren’t perceived. Using it means smelling the same for six hours without any variation.
It smells a bit of green tea with lots of lemon and sweetened with Stevia 🤣. It’s sweet, but not too much for me, as I hate very sweet and gourmand fragrances. The aquatic notes suit it very well. I like to wear it before bed, after a cool summer shower… I also recommend it for the day, for walking on holiday in white linen clothes, light. A relaxed and youthful fragrance, more not childish.
Rich fragrance. I detect quite a bit of raspberry and the aquatic notes. In my opinion it’s youthful, for someone aged 18 to 25. To use during the day in spring or summer, not at night.
It smells like cheap perfume, like an air freshener.
Sparkling raspberries; I love it despite the projection and longevity not being exemplary. It’s pleasant for daily wear, I think it’s more for summer or spring, but I use it in winter and it’s very good, a matter of taste. They told me and I read it’s citrusy, though I can’t highlight that note… it doesn’t evolve much but I find it good, very sweet and better than Her Secret Desire.
This perfume reminded me of Moschino Fresh Pink; does anyone else find a similarity between the two?
Undoubtedly it’s a refreshing and pleasant citrus scent, but it lasts barely two hours. The longevity isn’t good; it drops by 50% after an hour and after two hours it’s barely noticeable. I wouldn’t buy it again; I don’t recommend it.
If you love aquatic florals with a subtle citrus touch, this is your perfect ally. Apply it generously on clothes to make it last longer and project better. Its projection is moderate and intimate, discreet and elegant. It’s clean, fresh and aquatic, with a charming simplicity ideal for hot days. It doesn’t bother; instead, it refreshes and accompanies without imposing.
I’ve just received it and already love it. It’s a super cheerful, refreshing aquatic citrus floral with a touch of sexiness and sophistication. As another review says, it reminds me a lot of Moschino Pink Fresh Couture, which I also own and adore. I don’t feel it’s the same as Armani’s Aqua di Gioia; every nose is a different world. I detect lots of grapefruit and less raspberry, although it’s there adding sweetness and acidity, but grapefruit dominates. As for the florals, little jasmine, more rather a fresh pink rose that reminds me of Moschino, I suppose it’s peony. The aquatic notes give lots of freshness and lightness. As it dries, the cedar is noticeable, giving it that sophisticated, fresh woody touch. It’s super summery, for day, evening and warm summer nights. Feminine and simple. Perhaps it won’t last forever, but for the price it has great quality. Here in Argentina I found out they’re going to discontinue it, so it will be a jewel in my collection.
It lives up to its price point. The trail isn’t enormous, but I can smell it all day as I move or run my hands through my hair, which is what matters. It smells fresh, feminine and clean, very well balanced. It’s not unforgettable, but ideal for work: noticeable when someone approaches without being intrusive indoors. I confirm it doesn’t evolve; the scent of the spray is what remains on the skin. I bought it as an alternative to Aqua di Gioia and I’m satisfied.
