Smells like anything a 13-year-old girl with zero taste and only $10 would buy at a market copy stall. It’s a generic, cloyingly sweet floral that gives you nausea. I gave it to my mother thinking it was a good choice based on the reviews, but neither she nor anyone else liked it. It’s not worth it at all; if you’re buying blind, go for a Tommy Girl or a CK One instead.

One of the first little perfumes I owned and stuck with, because years ago almost everything gave me migraines and this was the exception. I used it a lot and it was super wearable, ideal for summer. I’m not sure if it’s still available, but if it is, it’s a good option to buy or gift because it’s very soft. I remember it as aquatic with a tiny floral touch.

I tried it a few years ago and fell in love with the scent. It’s now in my collection and I adore it. It’s a super clean, aquatic, fresh floral fragrance with a hint of sweetness. Very delicate and feminine. It reminds me a lot of the discontinued Natura Apple Blossom Water. The lotus feels sweet and watery, with melon hints. It’s quite linear and true, it doesn’t last or project as much as I’d like; on clothes it does last a bit longer. It’s such a relaxing scent for me, so crystal clear. The bamboo, the sweet white lotus flower, that musky touch, and soft cedar giving slightly woody notes, and I even perceive something mentholated. Everything is perfectly blended to create this refreshing and sophisticated fragrance. It could easily be a signature perfume.

I had it last summer and regret not buying it again. It smells super fresh, with a floral and sweet touch, but in a very subtle way. Whenever I went out with my friends, they wouldn’t stop telling me I smelled great and looked like I’d just stepped out of the shower, which makes me happy because I’m obsessed with always smelling good and clean. It’s true that by itself it doesn’t last long, but I discovered a trick to make it last all day: straight out of the shower, with pores open, spray on key points (neck, inner elbow, wrists, and behind the knees). With this, I managed to smell great all day and get the most out of this fragrance that has had me in love since the day I discovered it.

I’m here to do justice to this perfume that I love and use for going out; I adore it and it’s running out, so I’m already thinking about buying it again, or perhaps the Agua de Azahar by Adolfo Domínguez which I’ve already tried and is exquisite too. It’s a super fresh and floral fragrance, a clean scent that I can’t stop sniffing, hehe. If I apply it on my wrist it lasts many hours; I put it on before 11 and it’s now 20:30 and I can still smell it. I was driving and the air from the window made me smell the perfume, ahhh delicious! It was a blind buy, I was guided by the freshness and because it has cedar, which goes well with my skin. In general, fragrances don’t last for me, no matter how expensive they are, and after a couple of hours they don’t smell, so I bought this one which was more economical and it pleasantly surprised me in the end.

Very lovely fragrance, it has an air of Aqua di Gioia, fresh and floral. The problem is its longevity, between 1 and 2 hours. I won’t be repurchasing.

A very, very faint scent. After a few minutes it’s almost imperceptible on the skin, let alone projection. It feels fresh, like water just coming down a waterfall. And that’s it. I expected so much from it based on the notes, but even some body mists have more longevity and power than this perfume, which DOESN’T resemble Davidoff, Omnia, Tous h2o, Essence of Duende, or Acqua di Gioia as Fragantica suggests.

It’s a clean scent, one of those that makes you feel like you’ve just stepped out of the bath. Feminine, aquatic, and floral; the lotus, bamboo, jasmine, and musk are what stand out the most. I don’t perceive it as citrusy or sweet. A nice and fresh scent, ideal for summer, for daily use, or going to the office. It doesn’t stand out much, it’s not overwhelming, it has poor performance, weak sillage, and short longevity. Unbeatable price and the bottle is beautiful. I bought it guided by reviews looking for an economical alternative to Acqua di Gioia, but they really don’t resemble each other at all. It didn’t meet my expectations, but I think it’s fine for everyday life. Nothing extraordinary, just nice.

  9. An exquisite fragrance but scarce in its performance, I find it very similar to the discontinued Essence of Duende.

I was gifted this and it smells wonderful – fresh and clean – but it vanishes in 15 minutes, nothing more. I have body sprays that last longer. What a pity because the scent is lovely; I use it after a shower or shaving.

This fragrance is identical to Be…spontaneous by Avon; they dry down the same. I tested them side by side: the opening of Be… is slightly spicier, but after a few minutes they’re 98% identical. They’re fresh, aquatic and youthful. They lasted the same amount of time, around six hours. The first two hours are moderate, then they become skin-scented. As they’re affordable, I see no problem in reapplying.

I was gifted this and was surprised. It’s very fresh and cheerful, with a rich aquatic and ozone-like touch. But it doesn’t last long. Another plus: the bottle is beautiful.

It’s very rich and fresh, but it doesn’t last at all. Still, I adore it; I get a slight resemblance to Acqua di Gioia, but it’s more youthful and less sweet. I’d love if it lasted longer.

It’s the softest perfume I’ve owned, yet long-lasting with a significant and delicate sillage; it’s a pleasure. People always ask what it is or mention things it isn’t; it always surprises.

I work outdoors and with summer heat, I’m looking for something to make me feel fresh and clean. I’ve liked this one; its heart notes are delicious. It doesn’t last long (no more than three hours on my skin), but for the price, I can spray without remorse.

Very rich opening, aquatic, fresh, sweet and zen. But it lasts very little. For those who like it, I recommend Acqua di Gioia; it reminded me of it (though not the same) and has better performance.

It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s not a panacea. A very soft and fresh fragrance, ideal for hot weather. It doesn’t last long on skin and its sillage is rather scarce.

Back in 2011-2012 I used to see this everywhere but didn’t dare to buy it. However, on 23 January 2020 I finally treated myself and it is fascinating. I absolutely love it; it’s fresh and perfect for summer here in Argentina, which is very humid. I wore it to bed and upon waking up, the dry-down notes were impeccable. The longevity on me is around 6-8 hours… I adore it and highly recommend it if you’re looking for something that isn’t overpowering.

  24. Generally, I prefer strong and sweet perfumes, but with all the heat in summer, I felt overwhelmed by them. This fragrance gives me a sense of freshness, like just having had a shower. It is very fresh and truly summery. It’s soft, but given its mid-range quality, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. It doesn’t feel heavy; it’s very aquatic. I really like it.

A watery and very rich perfume, but it wore me out because so many women in my country used it.

Delicious, one of my favourites. Fresh and soft, the downside is its poor longevity. If it were more persistent with a more pronounced trail, I’d undoubtedly adopt it as my signature scent.

At first, the yuzu aroma stands out, softened by lotus flower and what seems to be bamboo. In the heart notes, the lotus settles alongside jasmine and freesia in a fresh floral scent. It’s a daytime fragrance perfect for hot days. On me, it stays close to the skin with weak to moderate longevity; still, I recommend it for those who prefer simple, fresh scents with a non-intrusive trail.

I’d call my story with this fragrance ‘the heartbreak of the 100ml bottle’. It all started brilliantly; I tried it in a perfumery and adored it. For the first few days of use, I was fascinated, but over the months, my affection waned. Partly due to daily, perhaps excessive, wear, and partly because I acquired new, delicious perfumes. Compared to them, Bamboo Water came out losing by knockout. I reached the sad conclusion that even the most delicious scent eventually wears me out, especially with long-lasting fragrances. That’s why I believe the most suitable sizes for me are the 50ml ones. So, it’s truly an exquisite perfume, but I wouldn’t buy it again, unless nostalgia for our old love leads me back to the perfumery to seek it out once more.
