Have you worn Agua Fresca de Rosas Blancas?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. Greta_C

It’s a perfume that lasts around eight hours, clings to clothes and lingers for ages. It smells floral, as the name suggests, with rose as the star. The scent is elegant and aromatic; although many women wear it, I’d recommend it for women over 30.

  2. I bought it recently looking for something spring-like and soft for everyday wear, but unfortunately, it shows on my pH. I tried it today, and although hours remain before the day ends, it’s been four hours and it’s still strong on my clothes. On the skin, it’s a personal delight; you have to get close to smell it (which is what I want for work; I don’t want to overwhelm anyone). I think it has good performance for an EDT called WATER. At two hours, perfumes like Alien or L’Interdit don’t reach me, and I’m really liking this one. I detect rose, jasmine, and woods. I can’t identify the other notes, but I usually enjoy powdery florals or chypres, so it works. On first try, I noticed a similarity with the CM, but as it dried down, it smelled VERY similar to Lancôme L’Intense. I like both; this could be a blend of the two, neither as sharp as Coco nor as intense as Idole. I’m happy with my choice and will update on longevity later.

  3. The opening smells like bug repellent, but a few minutes later it turns into white flowers and is very rich and fresh. I tested it on my wrist so it doesn’t have much projection.

This perfume fascinated me at first, but I can’t stand it today. I used about 30ml of the 120ml bottle, and its composition feels jarring to me; far from fresh, I only imagine wearing it in full winter, yet it’s so strong I don’t feel identified with it. I teach at secondary schools and it’s not how I want to smell when approaching colleagues or students. My husband never liked it; he finds it repulsive, its trail is excessive, and it has something shocking about it, like suddenly wearing a wall. It’s super interesting how I fell in love with the fragrance upon knowing its good price; I used it not too many times and today I’m leaving it in the wardrobe to see if I’ll gift it or perhaps try it again one day.

Delicious fresh perfume with good longevity. Regarding the similarity to Coco Mademoiselle, I’ve used all the variants and can say it has quite a resemblance, but with the EDT. For now, I use Coco M Intense, but this Dominguez perfume goes very well for summer.

Does it resemble Coco Mademoiselle? Yes and no. Yes, and a lot in its opening, but after just a few minutes that scent fades and turns into strong powder, like those old-fashioned perfumed powders that were very fragrant and nothing like baby powders. Once it dries down, the powder takes strength with the rose and for moments resembles the aforementioned Chanel one, but like when you leave Coco Mademoiselle clothes out for several days and only a more diluted scent remains. And in the end, instead of a ‘fresh water’ of white roses, we have a heavy perfume that even gave me a headache, something that only happens to me with Coco when I overuse the sprays. Can it be an alternative to Mademoiselle? By price, perhaps, but if you love Chanel’s perfume, you’ll end up setting this dupe aside and going for the Coco. There are perfumes that don’t deserve the audacity of having a fragrance make a dupe of them.

I own the Coco Mademoiselle Intense and today by chance I tried this perfume, thinking it would be a bouquet of velvety white roses but no. On my skin, it is exactly like the Chanel jewel. It was the true ‘I went looking for copper and found gold’. I applied it to the back of my hand over three hours ago, and although I’ve washed my hands at least four times, I can still feel it while writing this review. For me, it’s a resounding YES. I read in other reviews that for other girls it doesn’t resemble Coco Mademoiselle at all, but clearly it’s a matter of pH. I encourage you to try it and take advantage of its price, which is truly a gift for what it offers.

Fresh, clean, but suitable for any moment, even evening, why not? People praise it a lot, and regarding performance, it does well for the price, meeting the BBB: good, beautiful, and cheap.

  9. It’s a pleasant perfume, ideal for daily use in any season. It smells clean, floral, fresh, elegant. A versatile option that always works well. It projects softly but persists quite a bit on the skin. But it doesn’t resemble Coco Mademoiselle at all. And for some strange reason I don’t know, cats seem to be fascinated by it.

  10. I bought it twice. The first time it seemed very floral, a rose scent. I received several compliments. I liked it because it had a nice trail, rich and delicate. The second time, I don’t know what happened, but I noticed it was very woody. Potent. It lasted a long time because I applied very little. Perhaps it was a batch fault. The truth is I didn’t feel like buying it again because I tried Gardenia Musk. The richest from Adolfo Dominguez, for me.

A beautiful perfume that brings back memories of when I was little (around 10 or 11) and used to wear my aunt’s signature scent. I’ve always wanted it, so I bought it for myself on my birthday. It is exquisite: fresh, feminine and clean. I recommend it 100%; it’s a great price here in Argentina and definitely worth it.

This fresh water is delicious. I gifted it to my mother, but now I want it for myself. It lasts until the next day on the skin without projecting too much, yet you can still feel it 💕

  13. I tried it today and it didn’t grab me at first. I liked it more outdoors, but once it dried down with my skin chemistry, I found it very old-fashioned; it reminded me of a second-grade teacher, those older ladies who always look freshly from the hairdresser’s, in a button-down shirt, a skirt below the knee and heels with pantyhose. My husband felt the same way too. Perhaps it’s my reaction to the skin chemistry, as I have seen good reviews. Luckily, I didn’t buy it blindly.

  14. I must confess I had low expectations because I own AD’s Orange Blossom Water and Nude Musk, both rich but lasting no more than three hours. Fresh Water of White Roses has been a beauty on my skin. The trail is moderate, projecting for about two hours before becoming intimate for those who get close, which I find flattering. It’s not overwhelming; I can feel it all the time as I move, and it’s lovely to feel wrapped in beautiful talcum-dusted roses. That mixture lasts forever (with roses predominating), like a second skin. Its opening is citrusy, with plenty of grapefruit and yuzu, but within minutes those powdered roses appear, which I adore alongside the tea and wood notes; it’s very much like Coco Mademoiselle in the dry-down. 😍🤣 To give you an idea of the longevity: I wore it yesterday at 7 pm on a 30-degree afternoon and went out to dinner; this morning when I woke up, it still felt soft but was there. If you like roses, tea, soapy scents and talcum-dusted fragrances, you will love it. I repeat, it is long-lasting but only perceptible if someone comes close; it’s for personal enjoyment. It makes you feel freshly showered. If what you want is to project and project, this isn’t for you; for that, there is Coco Mademoiselle.

  15. It’s rich, super feminine, delicate and subtle. I think it’s a good choice for daily wear if you’re classic and want to smell elegant and discreet while young. If you’re older, it’s an absolute yes for perfect daily use that will always suit you.

  16. VainillaDulce

We are looking at a beautiful perfume, of classic and timeless cut but with sparkling touches that lighten it and make it more wearable. It is undervalued and offers all the quality, evolution, longevity and projection it promises: a beauty hard not to like. Fresh Water of White Roses is a lovely bouquet of open white roses releasing all their fragrance, bathed in vibrant citrus and accompanied by jasmine and lilac, whose scent is bolstered by woody notes and a divine patchouli because it is not invasive. It is perfectly balanced, with a musk that gives that powdery, soapy touch, and a vanilla that injects just a brushstroke of sweetness. What a divine chypre structure, very much in the style of Coco Mademoiselle, but whereas in CM the patchouli is super intense, here it merely drives that breeze of beautiful flowers you perceive as a whole and also individually. It is a perfume you must own; it has a super low cost and indisputable quality, it has class and presence, it is chic without being stiff. What beautiful roses are here.

It’s a delicious scent that suits any time of year. It’s one of those perfumes people will surely ask you about. In the end, it turns delightfully talcum-powdered. It’s the kind of perfume I stop buying for a while and then return to because I feel it can’t be missing from my vanity. I recommend that if you don’t like patchouli, you abstain from buying it.

It’s a delicate and tender floral scent, not heavy or invasive. It’s pleasant to wear and for me the best thing is its price: yesterday I bought the 200 ml bottle for less than €35. Its longevity is moderate, under four hours on my skin, but with its price it doesn’t matter having to reapply.

It has a powerful opening that I don’t love; immediately comes the grapefruit, yuzu and mandarin. Its evolution is very fast and I’m enchanted by that fresh, slightly talcum-powdered rose bathed in a touch of vanilla. I don’t find it mossy, however the amber gives it character. Excellent longevity and trail.

I bought it blind hoping for a fresh and floral scent, but on me it only smells of intense talcum powder, it overwhelms me. It reminded me of the talcum powder my aunt used in the eighties. It didn’t work with my chemistry.

I bought it blind and was surprised by its staying power. On my skin, it starts with a fruity note before amber takes over. It leaves a brief, distant memory of classic Halston. I expected more freshness, so for me it’s an autumn or winter scent. It works for any time of day; I found it warm and sexy. I’ve been wearing it daily since autumn began. Exquisite and refined.

I’m very surprised by its longevity and performance; perfumes usually don’t last on my skin, but this is a beast, the second one to achieve it (the first was Angel on Demon by Givenchy, which unfortunately causes me discomfort). Fresh Rose Water is something else: in its dry-down it reminds me very much of a perfume my mother wore by Oscar de la Renta. It’s a lovely aroma, although I confess I don’t enjoy the opening; I can’t quite identify the note, but my nose simply can’t stand it. The good thing is that after half an hour it fades to leave that delicious dry-down, slightly sweet, vanilla-like, and I suppose with patchouli, which I didn’t know well. It’s an elegant scent.

  24. I love that family, the chypres, and this perfume is a fine example. It’s elegant, fresh, and has personality, setting itself apart from boring, one-note fragrances. I’m glad such a dignified product can be made without being pretentious or bombastic. I love it.

  25. How fine and delicate, like orange blossom water, very feminine. I received it in an exchange and reserve it for summer when I want something soft, as it has no sillage or longevity on my skin, but I adore it.

  26. It has something special; it’s intoxicating and sensual. Yes, on my skin I perceive it exactly like that. I had to review it because of its effect on me: it’s a dense aroma, a blend of violet and sandalwood (like CK Euphoria, though they aren’t dupes). It brings out the most primal side. I think it has something particular for me; I never imagined it, but that powdery, creamy touch with flowers and a subtle literal citrus spark drives me mad.

They gifted me this fragrance and when I first tried it, it didn’t grab my attention much, but by the second time I started to take a liking to it and now I love it. The opening scent for me isn’t citrusy; you first perceive the wood, then the jasmine, and finally the citrus touch. The woody and musky notes are always present. It’s pleasant for summer and autumn. Personally, I prefer its sister, Fresh Rose Water, as I favour fresher perfumes where the citrus predominates. Nevertheless, this perfume is exquisite.

As its older sister disappointed me, I decided to try this one. The ingredient list promised a lovely perfume: rose, moss, cedar, tea, sandalwood… but upon trying it, patchouli and musk dominated and I perceived no floral notes, a pity. Another disappointment.

My first review of a feminine fragrance. I tried it while waiting to pay at the pharmacy. Fresh roses and flowers, grapefruit, a citrus touch; in the dry-down it becomes rougher, cleaner, soapy (musk), dry vetiver and a sweet touch, perhaps amber. Lovely dynamics and good construction, balancing the base notes without highlighting any. Drier and I sense more vetiver and moss. I love the dry-down. For the first two and a half hours it projects very well, then slowly fades to skin. I see it as versatile, semi-formal and daily, as a signature fragrance for those who like this clear style.
