  • Fresh Orange Blossom is a super feminine and soft fragrance, with the added benefit of being versatile and very good value for money. I bought it because I already owned Adolfo Domínguez’s Orange Blossom and loved it, but this one, despite having similar ingredients, smells completely different. If you’re looking for something floral and citrusy for spring, affordable yet of good quality, this is the one for you.

  • A few hours ago I was given the scent card. I didn’t like it much and I feel it is for spring or the beach… It is very fresh, but I wouldn’t buy it.

  • It is rich! Perfectly unisex, it brings freshness and a feeling of cleanliness all day, and the longevity is excellent. I say it smells like a baby; that fine, delicate citrus scent is charming. If you are looking for a fragrance to wear every day in summer and feel super free and fresh, this is a very good option.

  • Thanks to this fragrance I knew that the neroli and orange blossom transmit wellbeing… they make me feel better. It is citrusy; they say it is unisex, but on my skin it comes out more feminine. Smelling it does me good… It feels very natural, calm, discreet and above all refreshing. I will use it when I don’t feel like putting on anything, when I need a pleasant aroma to rest, when I seek a caress of simplicity or want to tire of cloying, intense and overly sweet scents; this scent will be my rescue.

  • Fresh and fresh, delicious from start to finish. However, its notes sound a little childish to me; on my skin it smells like baby perfume, which I don’t like. Nevertheless, on clothes and in the trail it is incredible. The longevity is short, about two hours.

How did I find Azahar? I was searching for something relaxing and knew that orange blossom and neroli, besides being exquisite, fulfil that function. I imagined the flowering orange trees and realised the name comes from the Arabic az-zahar (flowers), which reminded me of perfumer Alberto Morillas and his Seville olfactory memory. I thought of looking for a Spanish house and a local perfumer. At La Academia del Perfume I met Ramón Monegal, a Catalan with studies in Geneva, Grasse and Paris, who holds the Iris chair in Florence. Then I thought of a house that values sustainability and natural ingredients, so I chose Adolfo Domínguez. On smelling the Fresh Water of Orange Blossom, it felt like a hug, a coat that relaxes and envelops, perhaps like the feeling a child has with their mother. I gave it to my girlfriend and she adored it; now it is one of her signature scents. For her it is relaxing and puts her in a good mood when starting the day. In such a complex world, this perfume reminds us of the beauty of the simple and essential, like a mother’s love.

  • I adore this perfume. It is clean and pure. Those of us who have orange trees know how bitter orange smells, and Domínguez captured it wonderfully. It is a spring day in a beautiful little bottle. And it lasts many hours, being an EDT.

  • I love this fragrance; it smells of bitter orange but more sophisticated. It is not the typical childhood cologne smell; combined with cedar, it is absolutely delicious. It lasts a long time on my skin and gets impregnated into clothes. I currently have one bottle in use and a spare; I love it. It evokes well-being and joy; I recommend it highly.

  • It is one of my favourite fragrances; a scent of bitter orange but more sophisticated. It is not the typical childhood cologne smell; combined with cedar, it is superb and lasts a long time on my skin. It is truly exquisite and does not tire me. I have one bottle in use and a spare; I recommend it highly if you like bitter orange and neroli.

  • I just received this fragrance in a swap; I am widely surprised by the delicacy and femininity it possesses. I fell in love, although it doesn’t last long and has no sillage; it seems super fine and delicate. When it runs out, I will be repurchasing it.

  • I loved it, but once it dries on my skin, it mutates into a terrible smell. I don’t know if the bitter orange just doesn’t suit me or if something else is going on; it is a sweet floral scent, far from being fresh, which caused me to reject it. Of everything I have tried from AD, only the men’s versions convince me because they are as fresh as I look for, not so sweet.

  • I received a decant and it seems to be a sweet, pleasant, and relaxing perfume, partly because the bitter orange is very prominent. My grandmother used drops of bitter orange water, which she bought at pharmacies for her water for their calming effects. It proved ideal for sleeping, resting at home, or meditating, as I feel it lowers my stress levels.

  • A very light fragrance, suitable for summer. It is a very subtle emergence of bitter orange and sweet orange flowers that adds sweetness; my nose detects a very subtle note of Florentine iris that gives an extreme touch of cleanliness, reminding me of Prada’s Iris infusion. That note complements the cedar and musk perfectly.

  • Historia22

To be honest, it doesn’t last me three hours even with eight sprays. It has a lovely scent, reminiscent of children’s colognes but more elegant than Azhar. I find it sweet and a bit heavy; I expected more. It has no comparison with the classic Fresh Water; the citrus, cedar, and tonka lime are brilliant and last over six hours on skin and clothes. Edited: absolutely delicious, it is one of my favourites, soft and elegant. The bitter orange note combined with neroli and musk is a beautiful ensemble; initially, it didn’t last, but my skin started to feed it and it eventually lasted six hours. It projects for the first forty minutes before becoming an intimate scent, ideal for daily office wear.

  • A classic in the very best sense, it evokes summer afternoons of yore, with fewer travels and more conversations. It inspires peace with all the beauty of bitter orange and neroli, with admirable clean delicacy. It is unisex, though perhaps women wear it more often; I am a man and use it on mornings for short outings or simply at home to enjoy it. Ramón Monegal creates such beautiful, well-made scents. It is an eau fraîche, so longevity is moderate, around three hours, but at this price, it doesn’t hurt to repurchase. It is worth the scent alone.

  • I think it is a beautiful fragrance. I bought it today and it performed very well throughout the afternoon. For those who enjoy bergamot water, this is the fragrance.

  • juancar677

For anyone who wants to smell clean, fresh, and feel relaxed. If you enjoy bergamot, you will love this as it features neroli and orange over a base of cedarwood and musk. It is very relaxing and suits spring and summer wonderfully, as well as tropical nights. It is good quality, nothing synthetic, and crafted by a niche perfumer. The price is very reasonable compared to similar infusions where you pay for the brand name alone. The other fresh waters from Adolfo Domínguez are also rich and refreshing. A bergamot fragrance is always unisex in my view; it would only seem more feminine if paired with other lush flowers in my opinion. Bergamot belongs to everyone; that is why orange trees bloom in spring so they can bear fruit for autumn.

For those who want to smell clean, fresh and relaxed. If you like orange blossom, you’ll love this for the neroli and orange notes, with a base of cedar and musk. It’s extremely relaxing, ideal for spring and summer, or even tropical nights. Good quality, nothing synthetic and from a niche perfumer, very good price compared to other similar infusions where you pay just for the brand. The rest of Adolfo Domínguez’s fresh waters are also rich and refreshing. In my view, Orange Blossom is unisex; it would only be more feminine with other lush flowers, but orange blossom is for everyone, just as orange trees bloom in spring to give us oranges in autumn.

  • At first it is citrusy but then clears up into a fresher, slightly floral scent. I like this perfume because it reminds me of my childhood when I had an orange tree in my garden. The fragrance doesn’t last long on the skin but lingers longer on clothes; it doesn’t have a huge sillage, but someone close to you will still detect it. However, it can be reapplied many times as the bottle is large and it never bothers those around me.

  • I adore bergamot; this perfume isn’t particularly innovative yet remains beautifully simple. It bears a striking resemblance to the baby bergamot cologne (like Petit Enfant) that I love, but with added notes of orange and cedar. The cedar becomes quite noticeable on my skin during the dry-down, reminding me of the cedar in Light Blue. It is 100% unisex. Projection is moderate to soft, and longevity is low; it lasts about three hours on my skin (though I would reapply after ninety minutes)… While I’d wish for better performance, it is an eau de toilette at a very accessible price, so I don’t mind reapplying. Perfect for summer and high temperatures; you can buy it blind if you enjoy bergamot. When I run out, I will definitely buy it again (and in the 120ml version).

  • This bottle belongs to my sister. The bergamot is very prominent; it’s quite classic and soft. Other Adolfo Domínguez fragrances have a stronger sillage. It is also very fresh, making it ideal for hot seasons.

  • It’s exquisite. It never gets tiring. Incredibly fresh and citrusy. While it resembles many other perfumes with the same notes, it remains an excellently crafted fragrance. The only downside is that it doesn’t last long on the skin, but you shouldn’t be afraid to apply a bit more; it doesn’t become cloying or overwhelming. A 10/10.

  • It’s super pleasant, but like all from this brand, its longevity is poor 😞. It’s a very clean bergamot, slightly musky. It lasts around two hours and its trail is just over a metre. 🕉️🕉️🕉️

  • I tried it because the perfume was on a great offer; I wore it without high expectations and it was a pleasant surprise. It has excellent longevity: I showered and it was still lingering on my skin. It projects well, has a rich scent, perfect for summer in hot weather, for a family afternoon.

  • fleur parfumée

A clean yet addictive aroma. It really makes me want to keep smelling my arm all the time. You can detect the white florals alongside a subtle spiciness from the base notes. It’s perfect for year-round wear and conveys a white, light, and polished aura.

  • BeatrizBlackwood

It’s almost certain you’ll be disappointed, so I’m absolutely delighted to have found something so lovely and reasonably priced. It’s true, I find myself constantly smelling my arm; although it’s unisex, the scent is very refined, and I love that it always puts me in a good mood whenever I wear it.

  • Almugargar

I always have a backup for summer; the last time I received the new, much more minimalist format and to my disappointment, the smell isn’t the same, neither in projection nor in the notes, I miss nuances, a sweetened note that I don’t notice at all in the new one. The scent lingered in the room for hours and on my skin too. I still don’t understand why they reformulate perfumes that in many cases are identity markers for many customers… very eco-friendly and natural, but for me it’s clear they lowered the quality in presentation and fragrance. In this case, what I bought now was a fresh fragrance yes, but a very simple eau de cologne, with how beautiful it was and how long it lasted… I won’t buy it again.

  • Lady Wallis

A fantastic option if you’re looking for something similar to the citrus style of Dior’s Escale à Portofino or Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino, obviously saving the distance regarding longevity and note quality, as for me Dior’s Bergamot seems to be from another world… but the price difference is also huge. And if we have to be honest, the reality is that it is a very well-executed and refined fresh/citrus fragrance. I have bought it again this year for spring/summer days in a batch of 125ml + body lotion and a mini for the bag, and hey! it reminds me a lot of Portofino and the price is great (30€). Longevity is low, but layering with the lotion increases it considerably, and with the mini tube that comes in the batch, reapplication becomes comfortable. On the other hand, with the price it has, reapplying doesn’t hurt. The trail is also discreet, but I like that… and once dry, it leaves a very clean white flower and citrus scent on the skin that attracts me a lot. On my part, I don’t detect the sweetness some mention. I see the value for money as very, very good.

  • Klaudita Chilena

I just received this fragrance and I’m fascinated by it. I will replace my reformulated Eau de Rochas which no longer smells like anything. I feel it fresh and relaxing and I can’t quite perceive the sweet notes it declares. I’m currently testing it in winter, but I imagine it will feel even more wonderful with heat. I found it on offer for 10 euros for 60ml, but I will go for the 120ml.

  • Romina333

I love it very much, it’s fresh, smells clean, and reminds me of a baby perfume. Beyond the fact that it is eau de toilette, I feel it for many hours, getting softer each time but it is noticeable. People have praised it. It is surely a summer fragrance due to its freshness, but I don’t mind, I use it always. I would say for the day, I think it would be a bit plain at night.

  • SugarPlumFairy

It smells like baby perfume; my 6-year-old son ‘stole’ it and uses it to go to nursery, I put it on his head and clothes. Once a teacher hugged him and said: ‘this child smells wonderful’. ‘What perfume are you using?’, two days later she had it too. Ideal for the office, for healthcare professionals, and primary school teachers. Subtle, soft, delicate, slightly unisex, and with short longevity, but delicious.

  • molletmod.73

Excellent citrus cologne, Mediterranean, pleasant, therapeutic, anti-stress, anti-depression, economical, and energising. Unisex with a feminine touch. Longevity: 2-3 hours with a moderate trail of 1 hour. What if it doesn’t last as long as before? Not even the Poison by Dior, darling, and what are we to do. Get the 200ml bottle for 35 quid, make 10ml dicants, and reatomise when you can’t smell it.

  • molletmod.73

A brilliant citrus cologne: Mediterranean, pleasant, therapeutic, anti-stress, anti-depressant, economical and energising. Unisex with a feminine touch. It lasts 2–3 hours with a moderate trail of about an hour. What’s not to last like before? Not even Dior’s Poison, darling, and what can we do? Buy the 200ml bottle for 35 quid, make your own 10ml dicants and re-atomise whenever you can’t smell it on yourself.

  • This fragrance fills me with joy. It is citrusy, yes, but more due to the presence of orange blossom and neroli than the orange. Ideal for hot summer days, with almost 38 degrees like we have here in Córdoba, Argentina. Fresh, informal, a bit girly. Good longevity and projection. People compliment me every time I wear it.

  • Tulipan_negro

I was eager to try this cologne for summer. Lots of orange blossom and neroli over a base with a musk that is too present for my taste in a Madrid in mid-July. We tend to review perfumes we know and buy because they work on our skin (except when we get the wind of buying blindly). Friendly reminder for blind buying: when you read reviews, remember that 90% of the people who didn’t like that perfume didn’t review it.

  • La Clochard

Tried this perfume today and found it very pleasant, though also quite familiar. In the end, I remembered what it smelled like: Lacoste Pour Femme. Looking at the accords, they shouldn’t be similar, but I know which one it is: Pure Poison by Dior. They share a profile and notes: orange at the start, orange blossom, and cedar at the end. It’s as if this Adolfo Domínguez scent is for the day and Pure Poison is for the night. They have such different aesthetics that you wouldn’t relate them at first glance, yet they are similar. I loved the Dior one years ago and I quite like this one too. Most of Adolfo Domínguez’s perfumes please me; I had the impression they would be boring, but they aren’t, although perhaps they aren’t incredibly original. The bottles don’t convey much. They are quite wearable perfumes, simple in concept, and that’s positive. I agree with other reviews that it has something tender, like a baby perfume, but it’s not childish at all. It’s simply clean and makes you feel secure, relaxed, and comfortable. A sensation like lying in a hammock on the porch of a seaside house, with a gentle breeze and no one bothering you. It’s soft, comforting, and slightly addictive, but soft. For me, it’s like a lilac-haired cat, very soft and striking (if this makes sense to anyone xD).

  • Paula Marina

Comforting fragrance; the citrus and neroli give it a special touch. It’s a sweet acidity that instantly puts you in a good mood… fresh and clean! I love it, lasts about 3 or 4 hours on the skin, but if I’m running low, I reapply. Perfect for spring and summer!
