It’s a more formal fragrance without losing its youthful edge; it simply no longer smells childish, making it ideal for encouraging you to try stronger, more sober perfumes. It’s very citrusy, clean and fresh, quite wearable, though I feel it’s worth mentioning that it has a light but noticeable peppery touch, citrus and slightly spiced.

A fragrance with a formal yet youthful air, free from those childish notes that usually push you towards stronger, more serious scents. Very citrusy, clean, and fresh, it is quite wearable. I feel it lacks mention of a subtle peppery note; it doesn’t dominate, but it does give the citrus a slightly spiced touch.

I admit I bought it out of fear, given the warnings that it shouldn’t be bought blind, that it’s strong and not for young people, but I’m so glad I took the plunge because I discovered a beautiful, clean floral scent.

I confess I bought it with trepidation due to comments warning against blind buys, claiming it was too strong and not for young people… but how glad I was to take the plunge, as I discovered a beautiful, clean floral scent.

I’ve always been intrigued by Michael Kors perfumes until I decided on my first MK, the Sexy Amber! Oh, I can’t describe how much I loved it when I first smelled it, but that’s for another review. Now, Sporty Citrus: delighted with the Amber, I went hunting for more MKs. As my favourites are citrus blind buys, I grabbed this. To be honest, upon first sniff, it felt too strong and spicy, as others mentioned, reminding me at times of YSL’s Elle. However, it changes quite a bit after a few minutes; while Elle becomes woody, this maintains its citrus. Now that I’m re-testing it (I never wore it as I didn’t like it when I first opened it), I think I’ll give it another chance. That citrus is still there; the fragrance hasn’t changed. Definitely a summer scent, but I’d say it’s not for everyone; it’s citrusy and fresh, yet doesn’t smell like a citrus fruit such as Light Blue. It’s a powerful, strong, and spicy citrus that makes it refined and rare, so I repeat, it’s not for everyone. Now I’ll analyse its longevity and sillage to tell you. After nearly an hour, it hasn’t changed, feeling quite close to the skin. The bottle is adorable, minimalist like the entire Sexy and Gold line; unlike theirs which are metallic, the shape is the same and I love it. I recommend it for those who love strong citrus, because as I said, it’s not for everyone.

It is very rich and lasts quite a while.

At first it smells strong, then it softens a bit. There’s an ingredient I don’t love; I think it’s the saturation of musk, which makes it more mature and less youthful. But overall, it’s not bad; it’s elegant, serious and formal, with no flowers or sweetness, and it has good longevity.

It is a perfume that feels strong at first application, then softens a little. It has an ingredient I don’t entirely like; I think it is the saturation of musk which makes it more mature and less youthful. However, the perfume itself is not bad; it is elegant. By having no flowers or sweetness, it results in a serious and formal scent. It has good longevity.

It seemed very masculine to me; although it’s not stated on the product details, it smells strongly of patchouli with something citrusy.

It smelled very masculine to me, and although it is not listed on the card, it smells of patchouli with a citrus touch.

I didn’t like it at all, just like Gabriela; I smell pepper in this fragrance. It reminded me a bit of Gucci II, which I also dislike.

Looking for a gift for a friend, I came across this little gem, one of the three options in the Sporty, Sexy, or Glam line of Michael Kors. Although I will gift her something else, I definitely will keep it for myself. What I liked most was the Sporty version compared to the other two. I was very surprised because I haven’t enjoyed a citrus much for a while; my tastes usually lean towards orientals or gourmands. I didn’t know the notes, so I’ll tell you what I smelled on the first hit: the first 10 seconds didn’t convince me due to a spicy note (I thought it was pepper) that faded quickly, and then something intensely citrusy took hold. I thought it was lime or lemon and it is hard work to accept there is orange, as I feel a super lemony and cheerful vibe, nothing of bitter lime or herbal. I distinguished something of tangerine, but very subtle, like when you smell your hands after peeling one to eat. The musk is super creamy and light, very feminine and tender, giving a powdery and creamy touch. Perhaps I should try it again for a better review, but these were my first impressions. The bottle is divine, super minimalist and charming, very Kors and chic. I didn’t love the longevity; I put it on the back of my hand and it didn’t last more than an hour, but we shall try it on other zones. I also tested it on a strip of paper and I advise you not to do so; the truth is, this little perfume changes drastically from paper to skin.
