The moment I tried it, it reminded me of Polo Red Extreme, that discontinued perfume which was my favourite and for which I still keep the bottle with a little left to smell from time to time. It was a pleasant surprise to know that when it runs out, there is another that will remind me of those moments when it was my signature scent for the evening.
The surprise of 2025. Excellent opening, floral but distinctly masculine. A fragrance that is easy to like and draws several compliments.
What a fantastic perfume! I picked it up while browsing at Harrods. The opening is spectacular: fruity, floral, fresh, and sweet all at once. Super versatile, though I think it shines more in spring and summer. It lists lemon, but to me it smells like sweet mango. An addictive scent. Performance is acceptable, though I use a decant and reapply to enjoy it out and about. A great discovery. I’d recommend it blindly if you’re looking for something fresh and fruity that later turns woody. Between this and the Historic Olmeda, my summer will be sorted, what a lovely pair.
A distant cousin of Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel, yet better formulated with superior ingredients, much like Hacivat for Montblanc Explorer. It opens with bright citrus and aromatic flowers, drying down to an elegant lavender with incense and woods. If you like ‘elegant’ blues, this is a step up: guaranteed compliments and an infallible DNA.
