I absolutely love this perfume; it’s a wonderful citrus floral. The catch is that it DOESN’T last long; I use it in the office because outdoors it stops smelling very quickly, so I carry a small bottle to touch up. It was the only Miss Dior I liked. Update: it’s no longer the only one! Now that they’ve reformulated the Miss Dior toilette and the name is finally Miss Dior eau de toilette, I also adore that one :D; I’ve already posted my review there.

Thanks to SeleneHdez, I have this Dior with me and I’m delighted 🙂 Although it’s a flanker of Miss Dior Cherie, to me it seems closer to J’adore L’eau (and I’m not the only one who thinks so). It must be the bitter orange, as the only thing they share is the citrus note, but here that note is more sparkling, and I detect lemon and bergamot. Like J’adore L’eau, it’s a fresh floral, very pleasant for spring and summer. The floral note and musk give it that typical Dior elegance. The trail is soft to moderate, but longevity is its weak point: as Selene says, it doesn’t last long and you have to reapply, but what am I to do? I love it!

I absolutely love this fragrance; it’s sparkling and different. To me, it’s adorable; the bitter orange and gardenia give it an enigmatic touch. The downside is that it doesn’t last and you have to reapply. I agree with SeleneHdez: it’s ideal for the office because it doesn’t smell overpowering, unlike others. I recommend it highly.

  • It doesn’t last long and, although sweet, has a very acidic finish (I suppose due to the bitter orange). It’s not bad, but it’s not one of my favourites.

  • Miss Dior L’Eau… what lovely memories it brings back. I wore it and adored it: it’s fresh and sweet, but in a very subtle way, nothing suffocating. When I put it on, I imagined a field at sunset with white flowers and citrus trees like lemon… simply gorgeous. If I find it again, it will be mine once more.

  • To be honest, this perfume has never disappointed me. I bought it in a clearance sale from a store renovation, 30 ml, without trying it, just because I knew the Miss Dior Cherie EDP and it was a total success. Sparkling, cheerful, floral, youthful, with good concentration as it’s an L’eau, with a novel, interesting, and present scent. Above all: it lasts! L’Eau comforts me; I’m tired of fragrances that fascinate you at first and disappear in a few minutes, without trail or longevity. Of the Miss Dior Cherie, L’eau is the best formula; honestly, it’s a daytime and vibrant fragrance to enjoy all year round.

  • The truth is, this perfume never disappointed me. I picked it up in a clearance sale during renovations, in a 30 ml size, without even testing it, just because I knew Miss Dior Chérie EDP, and it was a total success. Sparkling, cheerful, floral, youthful! It has a fairly high concentration for an L’Eau; it’s a novel, interesting fragrance with presence and above all: long-lasting! L’Eau comforts me; I’m already tired of beautiful fragrances that fascinate you at first but disappear after a few minutes without a trail. Of the Miss Dior Chérie range, I would dare to say L’Eau is the best formula. Sincerely, it’s a daytime fragrance, vital to enjoy in any season.

It was a perfume I adored; it was my favourite scent. Now I can’t find anything similar. It’s a bit sweet, cheerful, fresh and innocent. I miss it!

It was a perfume I adored; it was my favourite scent. Now I can’t find anything similar; it’s rather sweet, jovial, fresh and innocent. I miss it!

  • I don’t know why, but every Dior fragrance I’ve tried doesn’t last long on my skin. Unfortunately, this is no exception. It’s quite a light perfume, but fun and interesting: a fresh floral with a sweet but not cloying base. Ideal for a spring evening when you want to feel fresh but with a slightly more complex scent. What a pity Dior has discontinued it. I will suffer greatly when my bottle runs out.

  • TigerLily

I remember how much I loved this perfume; it transported me to a different, special world. I haven’t found anything similar since.

  • Like everyone else, I can’t believe they’ve discontinued it. So beautiful and fresh. I still have a little bit left and I don’t want it to ever run out. I’ve bought Lancôme’s O de L’Orangerie and they are very similar, truly.

  • What a shame they have discontinued it. This perfume was exquisite. When I tried to buy another bottle and they told me it was no longer available, I wanted to die. It was summer, so fresh and citrusy. I haven’t found anything else like it. I keep the last empty bottle as a memento.

  • A truly enchanting perfume. I used it for a while because I loved citrus, and it is undoubtedly the best of them all. Made for bold and elegant women who love citrus. It’s spectacular! I have an anecdote: I only used citrus scents and asked a friend to buy me Miss Dior Chérie L’Eau, but by mistake she brought the regular version. I went from citrus to sweet and wanted to try it. It was the best mistake of my life; about 12 years ago I started loving gourmands madly. I would never go back to citrus because I feel like a princess with gourmands and floral ambers. Best regards!

  • darlenerock

I’ve bought it again and I am the happiest person in the world. Smelling this scent again brings me pure joy. It’s a perfect citrus, balanced, neither overpowering nor tiring, with subtle gardenias and that musk that smells like baby clothes. I adore it. For a citrus, the longevity is a 10; it lasts hours on the skin!

  • What a fresh and citrusy fragrance, with a touch of sweetness that blends perfectly with the musk and white florals. It lasted about five hours on my skin.
