A pure citrus scent, almost masculine, but works brilliantly as a unisex option for younger people on hot days. Nothing new, though they’ve stopped selling it.
Tous H2O (2009): a super-light, non-intrusive fragrance. Very unisex; it reminds me hugely of D&G’s Light Blue, with a soft citrus opening and a base of cedar and white amber. For those who prefer real chemistry over marketing: I smell synthetic cedar (cedrol), don’t take offence, not everything is natural; marketing is strong. A comparison is Cartier’s Déclaration, which smells like genuine natural cedar.
H2O by Tous (2009) is a very light fragrance, nothing intrusive, and quite unisex. It reminds me a lot of D&G’s Light Blue, with that soft citrus opening and a base of cedar and white amber (ambroxan). For those who appreciate perfumery chemistry rather than marketing, I’d say I perceive a synthetic cedar (cedrol). I don’t want my judgement to be misunderstood: not everything is natural; there is a lot of marketing. A classic example is Cartier’s Déclaration, where you can truly appreciate a top-quality natural cedar.
I’d wear it for everything; it’s exactly what I’m looking for: aquatic and citrusy. I like unisex scents; I know it’s not for everyone, but people always compliment it on me. It lasts all day; I detect lemon, jasmine and amber, the other notes aren’t noticeable. They’ve discontinued it; the closest I found is Natura’s Lotus Flower Water and Adolfo Domínguez’s Bamboo Water.
H2O is a very unisex fragrance, agreeing with the previous reviews. It’s very refreshing; I only detect citrus, that clean and unmistakable lavender, and woods. I like the perfume, but I don’t consider it feminine, elegant, or subtle. To me, it’s very informal and sporty. I never bought it because it seemed too masculine, even more so than many perfumes made for that gender. Although I sometimes let myself be carried away by a men’s perfume, H2O is outrageously masculine for me. I insist: it’s a pleasant fragrance, but I can’t see myself using it.
H2O is very unisex, as they say. Very refreshing; I only smell citrus, clean lavender and woods. I like it, but I don’t see it as feminine, elegant or subtle; to me it’s informal and sporty. I’ve never bought it because it seemed too masculine, more so than many men’s perfumes. Sometimes I wear men’s perfumes, but H2O is outrageously masculine for me. It’s pleasant, but I can’t see myself using it.
I agree, it smells too rough to be feminine. Very hard and not delicate; too woody. It could be unisex, perhaps very soft for boys or for winter. Ideal for hot climates, to refresh and feel scented without overwhelming.
I don’t know what happened; I bought it because it smelled incredible the first time. Now it smells like coriander and alcohol. I don’t understand, what frustration!
I love H2O; it’s my favourite from Tous, ideal for spring and summer. Its floral and aquatic notes leave a nice trail. I’m looking for it but they say it’s discontinued, what a pity.

The price in Mexico is very accessible; it reminds me a lot of Light Blue, but honestly I stick with Tous at half the price. I think it’s unisex as they say, though it leans more towards the feminine side; in heat it’s ideal.
The bottle is impressive and eye-catching; the perfume is very fresh and clean, you feel fresh. Ideal for all day; when I wear it and go out, everyone asks for the name. Exquisite and well-combined floral and citrus notes. It’s one of my favourites for all day; I recommend it 100%.
I tried it in the perfumery and absolutely loved it, but the price is way out of my reach. It’s super fresh and reminds me of the Halloween Drop.
I’m not sure if it was designed as unisex, but if it was, it leans heavily towards masculine. The aquatic notes, lavender, and woods remind me of my boyfriend’s aftershaves; the rose and jasmine are barely noticeable. I don’t like it; it’s an aroma that’s too clean, fitting the name (water), but it has zero femininity.
