I love this perfume. It’s a clean, talc-like scent with white flowers. I love applying it generously because it doesn’t leave a huge trail, but it’s definitely beautiful. Simple and clean.

  • It’s a second skin… what a pleasure it is to wear it discreetly, since unfortunately its trail and longevity are short. Nevertheless, it’s a musky, clean scent. A smell of sweat but different, without bacteria, neat yet salty. If I could have an eternal scent on my skin, it would be this. It’s a delightful ephemeral thing… that’s for sure.

  • Pure Musc is a feminine fragrance, subtle, clean, simple yet sophisticated. On me, it’s soapy, but not in the Chanel aldehydic style, rather like clean skin with a woody base. Narciso achieves a perfect union between simplicity and elegance; the musk mimics the natural scent of a super attractive woman. The presentation is beautiful, it lasts about six hours, and the trail is moderate. I think it’s a cleaner version of For Her. Who will like it: lovers of subtle perfumes.

  • I bought a decant because I was very intrigued… On my skin, it has a strange opening, almost mentholated. Then, after 30 minutes, the characteristic Narciso musk remains, along with very subtle white flowers. I like it, although I’m not sure if I’ll buy it: I don’t enjoy the mentholated opening, but I do enjoy the rest, yet I don’t feel it’s special enough. I was looking for a smell of cotton sheets drying in the sun, and this is a cold musk and somewhat floral; yes, it’s clean (and luckily not too soapy) but almost aseptic. I think it’s ideal for layering, but I can’t justify spending what it costs just to combine it. Moderate but perceptible trail and lasts 6 hours. Definitely not for blind buying, and it must be tested on skin. I’ll keep testing it, as it changes a lot depending on the day. Edit: it’s a perfume to give many opportunities; gradually, I started to like it more and now I have it in my collection and I love it!

I keep trying to like it. When I smell it in the bottle, I love it; it seems super rich, but on my skin it changes and smells very aldehydic in the Chanel style, which doesn’t please me.

  • Paola Rosalia

I love it. I feel it’s unisex. It’s winter and I put it on four hours ago, and I’m enjoying it on my skin and clothes. It’s my first NR perfume. Clean, sharp, easy to wear. I recommend it.

  • I love Pure Musc, but unfortunately, on my skin it doesn’t last more than an hour. It’s a soft, clean scent, like a white soap but expensive. It gives calm and joy. The only problem is that it lasts very little for the price it has.

There’s something that hooks you, probably the overdose of musk. I’m fascinated by it, but sometimes it bores me. It’s just musk; it smells very pleasant, cosy, clean, but that’s where it stops. On my skin, it lasts five hours, with moderate projection at first and then intimate. It reminds me a lot of ‘Narciso Rodriguez for him eau de parfum’, but that one is more intense and rounded than Pure Musc. I read it was created to combine with other perfumes from the brand. It smells like expensive fabric softener, to smell clean while it lasts, but it’s nothing special.

  • A delicate, soft, and elegant aroma, very personal. I would recommend it blind: it’s discreet and perfect if you have something very formal to wear and don’t know what to put on; this is your option. I’m not sure if it’s the blend of cashmere and musk, but it’s a scent you don’t want to stop perceiving. At first, it reminded me of my grandmother’s wardrobe when opened: full of perfume blends in her clothes and fabric softener with a clean scent. So subtle and captivating. And the bottle is a minimalist beauty.

Hello, this is my third purchase and it’s a masterpiece. Depending on humidity, heat, and my mood, it evolves differently every day, revealing hidden notes. Elegant, simple yet not boring. It smells like the cleanest luxury one could imagine, an off-the-charts musk from Narciso Rodriguez. For me, it’s the king of the castle, followed closely by Musc Noir Rose. 10/10

  • Extraordinarily simple. Pure Musc For Her? It’s not just for her; it’s for anyone who wants to feel the purity and sensuality of their skin in its best version. I recommend testing it on skin, not on paper. If you’re like me and have a chemistry with white musk, this is literally ‘THE MUSK’. Impeccable quality and minimalist, far from passing fads. It unfolds softly and crystal-clearly, like the steam of a fresh shower at dawn, with a faint whisper of eucalyptus, that freshness that evokes the tranquility of a sauna, caressing the skin with the tenderness of a creamy white soap like Dove. It melts sensually like a second skin, perfect for layering or for using alone when you don’t want anything overwhelming but want your skin to smell ‘naturally’ good.

I LOVE IT! Clean, white musk, like a fluffy cloud of musk with little white flowers. I love it for wearing alone or as a base; in layering it boosts other perfumes immensely and makes them last all day. I tried it with Chance Eau Tendre EDP and Roses by Chloe (the ones that don’t last for me) and it extended their life to ALL DAY (12 hours). I can’t explain HOW MUCH I LOVE IT. I want a new bottle and a refill right now. May my beloved Pure Mus never run out.

The best way to smell excellent and have no one know you’re wearing perfume. A jewel.

  • Rubinski

One of my discoveries of the year; now it’s my signature scent. I heard about it by chance in a perfumery after reading good reviews. When I applied it, it reminded me of a smell from my childhood that I can’t quite place, but it smells like the scented cards we exchanged with friends (for those of us from the 90s or earlier, you’ll remember). I had a flash and bought it immediately. I use it daily at the office; it’s not intrusive, but those close to me notice it. I recommend trying it before buying blindly. They say they’re going to discontinue it, but for now it’s easy to find in Spain. It’s a perfect all-rounder for any season and situation.

  • Elegant, fresh, and clean. It’s a ten for summer or spring. At meetings or in the office, people always say, ‘Doctor, what a lovely perfume.’ I always smell very good. It seems to project an empowered woman; imagine an executive. Of all my perfumes, this is the one that receives the most compliments, from male and female colleagues alike. It gives the impression of someone elegant, dressed in white. It’s 100% for the day. I wouldn’t wear it on a date or for a night out. The best part is that it’s uncommon yet everyone likes it; it doesn’t offend anyone. It doesn’t have a huge trail, but on my skin it lasts about six hours.

  • Love at first sight. I was looking for a scent to make memories without invading others’ space. This is universal, adorably of no one. It smells like new beginnings, clean laundry, young woman’s skin just after a shower, calm, and a mental pause. Now I understand the Narciso Rodríguez ad: a calm girl who only wears her skin. At first, it leaves a trail with many compliments, more than expected for something so veiled. At 4-5 hours it still seems like a second skin, clean and soapy. At 6-8 hours it becomes more personal, though at close range only. It’s for everyday life, for wearing before bed, for connecting with your partner, for long workdays, for a walk, or after a spa.

  • LoreToledo

I’ve never used Narciso Rodríguez (probably because of the price, haha), but I wanted to try this given the good reviews. I bought a decant and I’m glad I did: the musk is potent and sometimes overwhelming, even smelling like insecticide at times. Sometimes I like its cleanliness and elegance, but it’s not as sensual as I read, and I’m not sure what age it suits; it’s neither youthful nor for someone older. I can’t compare it to anything, but it doesn’t suit me. The trail is good, but the longevity on skin isn’t so much. I don’t think I’ll buy the full bottle.

  • coke_zero

The powdery opening with musk reminds me a lot of Starry Nights by Montale (and I’m not attracted to either). But just like with that one, the dry-down is where it shines. Pure Musk becomes a radiant musk with a soft floral touch, very elegant and clean. After a few hours on the skin, I’d say it’s neither youthful nor mature; it’s quite versatile and perfect for day-to-day wear.

  • Estelaflusflus

It’s a clean, pleasant scent suitable for everyday wear. It doesn’t last forever or project like a rocket, but from time to time a wonderful burst reminds you that you’re wearing it. It’s the perfect basic when you want something feminine, clean, and universally liked. I have the 150ml bottle and when it’s finished, I’ll buy another. I own many perfumes, but this always has to be there. Some days I want to be pure musk, without heavy fragrance, something comfortable, calm, and clean; those days are perfect for this.

  • I don’t know much about perfumes and few really take my fancy, but this is my absolute favourite. It strikes me as odd that in other reviews people ask if it smells good on skin or sweat. If it does, that would be wonderful. Is it the sheets or the fabric softener? Please tell me. People, none of that smells like this. It doesn’t even fit the ‘your skin but better’ concept, and yet I never smell bad, not even after training for several hours.

  • To start, I don’t have much experience with perfumes, my sense of smell isn’t trained, so this review comes from an ordinary person… I’d never heard of musk, so at first, it smells like mint, not entirely, but it evokes freshness. In the dry-down, it smells clean, but it’s a very rich and expensive clean, not like soap or fabric softener as I’ve read. The projection doesn’t go beyond your nose, it’s close, to feel good or when you’re greeted. It gives me peace of mind, makes me feel empowered and relaxed; my partner says it’s sensual, but it doesn’t seem so to me. For me, perfumes have no gender; there are more feminine and other more masculine aromas; this is totally unisex, in fact, at times it reminds me of one my father used when he was young. As for longevity, it’s good; on my skin, it lasts between 6-8 hours during the day. Yesterday I put it on at 6 pm before bed, and today at 10 am, I could still smell it on my neck and clothes. In conclusion, it’s a fresh and discreet perfume for everyday life, for being at home, taking a walk, or going to a work meeting, and it could even serve for going out at night to dinner. Versatile and pleasant.

  • An exquisite musk. On my skin, it lasts hours without issues and is perfect for mixing with the others in the line.

  • Well, I bought it out of curiosity. The perfume is very rich; as soon as you apply it, it has a quite unisex aroma, reminding me of men’s shaving foam, but soon the white flowers are felt, very soft and lovely, a bit basic, it could be combined with another. I expected something creamier, but no, although I like it very much. In Argentina, I used the Atelier01 by Sofía Sarkany in summer and it was what flattered me the most; it’s quite similar, the dry-down is almost identical. I’ll continue with Sofía’s as it’s four times cheaper and the longevity is excellent. But returning to Pure Musc, I wanted to treat myself and did so, it was worth it. It can easily be a perfume for life, one of those that doesn’t tire and pleases everyone; it’s not very particular but can be combined for more personality.

  • It hurts to be wrong. Not because of the mistake itself (we are human), but because of the ‘hype’ this perfume has had and still has. I tried it: at the airport, in Duty Free, testers, sniff, sniff, sniff. I see it, test it on paper: it’s okay, fresh, quite nice, friendly. I test it on skin: it’s fine for summer, I’ll buy it. Once on the plane, it started to smell strange, a bit unpleasant, but it passed. I arrived at my destination, and by the time I paid for the car parking… where’s the perfume? I can’t smell anything. A pity. I have body lotions that smell better and last longer. Sadness.

  • To me, it’s an ode to purity and the colour white, a clean scent, carnal, to clean and natural skin. It’s my star perfume, my go-to, I simply can’t do without it. They say it’s perfect for layering, but for me, it’s so perfect that I don’t want to alter it with anything other than my own skin. There isn’t a day I don’t wear it and get asked what I’m wearing. One day, I had to have blood tests, and the analyst, wearing a mask with a transparent panel, when I sat down for the extraction, said: ‘Oh, you smell wonderful! It’s a pleasure when you arrive smelling like this’. She even asked what perfume it was. With Pure Musc, I always have such anecdotes: on the bus, at the dentist, in the clothing store… Since I discovered it, I can’t do without it. 10/10.

  • They say it smells amazing, but I can’t smell absolutely anything; the same happens with Lujain Lattafa. It’s as if I’d applied water.

  • I’m not a huge fan of Narciso Rodríguez due to the powdery notes, but this perfume has won me over. The powder fades quickly, leaving a wonderful, lasting clean scent on my skin. Moreover, if you use it for layering, it’s fantastic.

  • A fine and elegant aroma, with a beautiful musk. Smells like freshly washed skin with a high-end soap, as if straight out of the shower. Nothing invasive, with low projection and medium longevity. I see it as very suitable for daytime, ideal for jobs requiring closeness, such as healthcare. On the skin, it lasts about four hours, a little longer on clothes. I wouldn’t wear it for a romantic dinner or out at night due to its discretion. I’ve read it can be layered with others from the brand to extend longevity, something I’m yet to try. It’s not my usual style, but I believe it’s a wardrobe staple with which you can’t go wrong.

  • Perhaps the most ‘simple’ of the brand, but for me, it is one of the best and most comfortable for wearing to work. It has that musk that defines the house. When I don’t know what to wear, this is my lifesaver: it’s not overpowering, you feel at ease, and there’s no risk of offending anyone. It’s like a second skin.

  • Beautiful, clean, elegant. I use it in an extremely hot and humid city, as it makes me feel freshly showered. It’s a spectacular option to replace the citrus fragrances we sometimes have to use in this type of climate. Its longevity is very good, over 6 hours on skin and over 10 hours on clothes.

  • I’m not disgusted by it, nor do I like it much. My olfactory memory reminded me of Gucci Bloom, very similar, although you don’t smell as many roses, mostly white florals. I perceive a bergamot note, not so much the jasmine. It’s pleasant for summer, although it feels very linear. It doesn’t enchant me, but I used it to evaluate sillage and longevity; sillage is almost non-existent, and longevity on my skin is barely 2 hours.

  • For me, this perfume is perfect. I read reviews that caught my attention because they say ‘it smells like nothing’ or ‘it doesn’t last’. I imagine it’s because of the musk, which changes greatly depending on the skin. To me, it smells delicious, musky, clean, and with a slightly sweet touch which I believe comes from the ylang-ylang. Also, it lasts without any issues for quite a few hours. The whole working day and on hair and clothes all day long. I’m looking for a perfume with a similar profile but that isn’t so mass-produced to make it my signature fragrance, but for now, I can’t find any that smells better within this style.

  • Not my style, but I liked it. It smells delicately clean skin, soft floral, like for an hour, but it’s a pity that afterwards you only smell it close to the skin; you have to hunt for it with your nose, and that doesn’t convince me. Suitable for over 20s and ideal for summer.

  • A molecular perfume, clean, that highlights the woman and not the opposite. It’s elegant, smells like a wealthy, carefree woman, yet simple and approachable at the same time. It smells like clean skin, like a new outfit with natural fibres, like a life without wanting to attract attention but still being the centre of attention. It reminds me of the timeless white of Zadig and Voltaire, which also has a clean, feminine, fresh opening, but nothing to do with its base. I’m sticking with Narciso because it’s days and days in the perfume wardrobe, and its evolution is more stable and coherent. The perfume stays eternal on clothes and maintains its freshness from the first wear.

  • scentedjimenq

I didn’t like it. I was looking for a simple, clean aroma. I trusted the notes so much that I tested it on my skin. Oh dear, the opening was a very strong musk, a smell of animal fur mixed with soap. Then it settles close to the skin into a mature clean scent that I don’t particularly enjoy.

  • A wonderful musk fragrance, the best on the market for young people who enjoy musk without it feeling vintage or smelling of an older lady. I discovered it during the second pandemic, and it’s perfect for the snowy, cold winter in Berlin. The dark, solitary days become more bearable, especially when it’s snowing and you can see the landscape through the window. It’s ideal for going to work and projecting seriousness, particularly if you’re young and need to assert yourself so people don’t take you for a fool or push around. 😂 My mother and I are NR addicts; she loves the rose which suits her perfectly, but not for me. That’s why this wonderful perfume was created. I read that it serves as a base to enhance another fragrance thanks to the musk, or on wool clothing to emphasise that comforting natural fibre scent, making it smell freshly from the laundry. It’s become a must-have and is now a permanent part of my collection. A 10/10.

  • If I had to define myself, I’d use this perfume. I’ve tried countless others and like several, but this one defines me. It smells clean yet elegant, not cloying. It’s a scent you never get tired of and is simply perfect for me. 😍😍😍

  • Danielle_Gris

Bought it out of love for NR and because it’s touted as a base for layering, with promises of a ‘clean’ scent and ‘bride-worthy’. On my skin, it was the exact opposite: one of the most animalistic fragrances in the house. It’s not complex, just musk and white florals. I always get indolic florals, with that distinct ‘wet cat’ note that kicks in after 1-2 hours, but basically, it’s too heavy for me. It’s not ugly; I do like it, but only if I’m in the right mood and wearing the right outfit, otherwise it gives me a headache. Also, it didn’t work for layering because adding white florals to my other Narcissos, especially the For Her EDT, just didn’t sit well. Lasts about 7 hours with moderate to low sillage.
