I’m teaming up with Jerry Drake again (he sent me the sample). Penthouse Powerful is one of those simple, unassuming fragrances that win your heart by delivering far more than its segment typically offers. To me, it smells very much like Boss Bottled: sweet woods, fruity and apple notes, perhaps a hint of cinnamon. Very pleasant and well-constructed. It vastly outperforms its price point. The longevity is decent, nothing more or less. I think it’s a great option for daily wear without any regrets. One of those bottles you always keep on the shelf, ready to grab almost without thinking.

If you were a teenager in the late 70s and 80s, the name of this house will surely bring to mind a magazine that wasn’t exactly educational but was a huge hit of the time:-) Penthouse Powerful isn’t a punchy fragrance as its name suggests; instead, it’s extremely pleasant and delicate. In the opening, it reminds me of Midnight in Paris; the composition features ginger, coriander, black pepper, musk, and lemon leaves, giving you an idea of the final product, which is quite fresh and spicy. All in all, considering the absolutely tempting price, it seems like an option that delivers more than expected for this price range, giving you the sensation of something superior. Optimal if you don’t want to spend on your top fragrances but still want to feel good for a couple of hours.
