Frankly, I didn’t like it. Generic and completely forgettable aroma. It was a blind buy and resulted in disappointment and regret. Although the packaging presentation is quite good to be honest.

Look, it just didn’t work for me at all. It smells like anything you’d find anywhere, super generic and fades instantly. It was a blind buy and has left me heartbroken, very disappointed and regretful. That said, the bottle looks quite nice, to be honest.

It has made waves on YouTube as the fresh version of Rasasi Shuhrah. It’s unique, not made for the masses. Strong opening: aroma of a hotel soap bar, your wife’s lotion, and a background of fresh fruits. The opening is feminine; the musk, ylang-ylang, and flowers give a clean, soapy, and tender sensation. The dry-down gives way to the creaminess of the tonka bean, maintaining maturing fresh fruits and a subtle soapy touch. Rasasi has good fragrances like Hawas, but with this, Shaghaf as Shuhrah, didn’t want to impress anyone but themselves. If you like exploring challenging scents, you’ll find its charm; if you’re not adventurous, go for Hawas. Beast mode performance but without offending: moderate projection and longevity. Scent 9, Longevity 7, Projection 7, Accessible price.

  • I was surprised by this fragrance; it’s very economical and has good quality. It has marked fruity accords with an initial vanilla note that is always present. The rose is in the base, and luckily the tonka bean isn’t very noticeable, which is a note I don’t like. It doesn’t last long, about four hours, projects a metre in the first two hours and doesn’t leave much of a trail, but for the price, you can’t ask for more. Totally recommended.

A fragrance for men that suits women better. A fruity aroma reminiscent of Pure Malt, but here in Shaghaf the fruits stand out, especially mango with rose, which is why it smells more feminine than masculine. The performance is very good with wide projection. If you’re looking for very masculine alpha-male fragrances, this Shaghaf isn’t for you.

  • I bought it for the reviews and the price, and yes, it has the air of Shurah but is fresher and less intense. The longevity is shorter, although maceration helps extend it. What I miss is the rose, which is more present in Shurah; here, I notice little rose and it’s more floral. Very original and with personality. At first, I found it average, but with more applications, it starts to be delightful. Quite unisex; my wife loves it. Ideal for heat or when you want a pleasant floral without drawing too much attention.

  • Ugh, this isn’t for beginners in Arabic perfumery; it’s a beast. My 2021 batch is very intense, so I’d recommend something gentler or the light version of Shurah. It arrives the next day on skin and clothes and lasts for several days. You can tell the quality; it smells soapy, sweet, with a spicy touch. Don’t use it in summer or the office; it can be cloying and overwhelming. Not for everyone, nor for twenty-somethings; it’s a mature, unisex scent. Scent 9, Performance 10, Price 10.

  • Ugh, this isn’t for beginners in Arabian perfumery; it’s very potent, at least the 2021 batch. I’d recommend something gentler or more mainstream, like a light version of Shurah. But at least it’s a beast: it lasts on skin for a day and on clothes for several days. You can tell the ingredients are high quality; it smells soapy, sweet, with a spicy touch. I wouldn’t wear it in summer or warm weather as it’s too cloying and not for daily use. In an office, it could be overwhelming. Mind you, I’m not saying I dislike it—it blew my mind at first sniff—but it’s not for everyone, certainly not for twenty-somethings. It’s a mature, slightly unisex scent. Scent 9, Longevity 10, Value 10.
