To finish, the base notes reveal a warm and textured foundation of leather, white musk, sandalwood, moss, vanilla, woody notes, amber, cedar, suede, patchouli and tonka bean.

What a joy to have stumbled upon this gem from Nabeel, an Arab brand that has genuinely surprised me with its quality. If Desert Leather is a clear homage to Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather, then this Antar is a curious reinterpretation: the leather notes are more restrained, the fruity accords are brighter, and above all, it has a marine touch that makes it super versatile for almost any season, though it truly shines in spring. The longevity is moderate, around seven hours, with good projection for the first hour and a half. Afterwards, it settles into a personal bubble, but leaves a decent trail.
