It’s a quite sweet and daring perfume, persistent and, in my opinion, more suited to warm to cold days. It reminds me quite a bit of Lancôme’s Hypnose. The opening isn’t very fruity and as the day goes on, it leaves a vanilla and coffee aroma.
I absolutely loved it! Smells exactly like Black Opium but with the coffee note turned up to eleven. It lasts well, though the trail is a bit light. Once dry, it’s a vanilla cappuccino – perfect for afternoon or evening wear, not really for morning.
I loved it! I feel it’s very similar to Black Opium, but with the coffee note much more present. It has good persistence, but medium trail. Dry like a vanilla cappuccino; I see it for late afternoon/evening, I wouldn’t use it in the morning.
I encountered it in a perfumery where girls with testers were spraying it on women walking by. The scent attracted me so much that, although I was in a rush, I had to stop, stretching my arm and shouting: ‘How delicious, I want to try it!’. It’s sweet but not cloying. It reminded me very much of Britney’s Fantasy. Very sexy. The longevity is excellent; I could still smell it after showering. I feel it’s a fragrance for winter or perhaps spring, sweet with a floral touch and not entirely woody. The price surprised me, less than half of any imported perfume. The presentation is a bit daring, it doesn’t match the fragrance.

The scent was so appealing that, despite being in a rush, I stopped and shouted, ‘That smells delicious, I want to try it!’ It’s sweet but not cloying. Reminded me of Britney’s Fantasy – very sexy. The price surprised me, costing less than half of other imports. The presentation is bold and doesn’t match the scent at all.
It’s almost identical to Black Opium, very good and at a very reasonable price.
It’s almost identical to Black Opium, very good and economical.
My boyfriend gifted me this perfume a few months ago and I loved it. It’s quite dark and sexy. Ideal for winter, the night, or going to a party. The coffee and vanilla notes stand out. Overall, it reminds me of a very sweet hot chocolate. A more economical alternative to Black Opium with excellent quality. The packaging is a 1000.
My boyfriend gifted it to me a few months ago and I’m obsessed. It’s dark and sexy, ideal for winter, nights out, or parties. The coffee and vanilla really shine through; it smells like sweet hot chocolate. A cheaper, quality alternative to Black Opium. The bottle is a 10.
This is liquid caramel… Feminine, sweet without being cloying, elegant, seductive, dark… Beautiful, perfect for nights when you want to turn heads. The opening is sweet, but beyond the vanilla, it smells of that liquid caramel from crème caramel. Then it feels elegant, the cashmere, super seductive. That sober, toasted touch of coffee and the spice of cinnamon make it warm. I love these little skulls; this is definitely my favourite. They have great performance, longevity, and trail, all the more so given the price. Among my favourite perfumes.
Smells sweet; it’s not the most cloying, but a blend of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and white chocolate. Smells delicious but lasts very little. It’s not a particularly original scent, but for the price, you could bathe in it and perhaps achieve the potent result you’re looking for.
Soft, impactful, different, and with a spectacular coffee note. This little white skull is now my favourite from Police. I don’t feel much evolution, which is positive if you want it to smell the same from start to finish. It could be compared to Black Opium, but softer; that is its differentiating touch, alongside the jasmine and plum. Unlike Black Opium, which I see as more nocturnal, Born to Shine suits both day and night. In my opinion, ideal for winter and autumn. Lasts about 4-5 hours, not bad for the price.
Very creamy, spiced, and sweet. Smells of coffee, vanilla, and spices. Superbly economical and lasts a long time on clothes. Ideal for cold, rainy climates. It’s elegant and classic, something you wouldn’t expect from the bottle’s style.

I’m a hater of the entire Black Opium line, but this smells vastly better and isn’t the same. It features vanilla, soft natural coffee (nothing synthetic like the YSL version that made me hate it), sandalwood, jasmine, and cinnamon, in that order of intensity. A brilliant find: an exquisite, complex, and pleasant scent, much more daytime-appropriate than the YSL which tries to force seduction and fails. I’m not a fan of that style, but it’s great to see a coffee-vanilla blend that doesn’t emulate Black Opium and actually smells delicious.
