  • The first impression was ‘summer fragrance’: seasonal fruits with a touch of exotic floral. Then it turns something sweeter, perhaps due to the vanilla, patchouli or jasmine (I still can’t quite distinguish the notes). It’s sweet but soft, not overwhelming. I was pleasantly surprised; although it’s not what I would buy, I felt good wearing it. Its low longevity makes it comfortable. It’s warm and playful, lifts your mood and makes you feel sexy, like a juicy mango dripping down your hand. Although I prefer more discreet, intense and elegant perfumes, I like stepping out of my comfort zone, feeling different and saying that it’s not all green tea, lemon and white flowers.

  • It’s much fruitier and younger than La nuit trésor à la folie. At first it smells a bit rancid, but once it dries down, for the price, it’s well worth it.

I haven’t tried La nuit trésor à la folie, so I’m not sure how similar they are, but I really liked this one. The longevity is good, although it doesn’t project much; it lasts about 5 or 6 hours, maybe more. I wore it to work and everyone loved it, even when they couldn’t smell it anymore. It’s quite suede-like but harmonises without being heavy; it’s wearable, a little sweet but not cloying. Ideal for spring, autumn and winter. Update: It has become everyone’s favourite at work. Every time I wear it, they ask if I’ve sprayed it on them. For the price, it’s well worth it.

  • I think it’s down to the presentation, but to me it smells tropical with lots of vanilla and fruit, very sweet. I see it as informal and the longevity is average. Even though it’s cheap, I wouldn’t buy it again simply because it’s not my style. I’ll refrain from comparing it to ‘a la folie’.

  • I’m from the coast and this fragrance has absolutely won me over. It transports you straight to a tropical paradise, as if you were standing by the sea with a piña colada or your favourite drink, thanks to its fruity and floral blend.
