  I was looking for a fragrance that left a trail of sophisticated cannabis oil or resin, but this product leaves the scent of burnt weed or a spliff in the air. It smells like any university student who has been out partying, smoking a joint and is now quite stoned. Under no circumstances should you wear this for work, unless you want to fail a drug test.

  Almost a cheap clone of Hermès H24, but greener and younger; it lacks that metallic touch, the quality and the sheer style of the original. Police shows little innovation. It smells herbal and sweetened, modern and fresh, though I see it as too versatile for all seasons. I wouldn’t wear it out at night or for picking up someone. It fades in projection; any supermarket Invictus clone outlasts it. Of course, don’t expect Hermès-level longevity from this, which costs much less. On my skin, it lasts about 3–4 hours with very little sillage; after 5–10 minutes, it’s skin scent. Smell of absinthe, star anise, or cannabis? Well, what can I say, I don’t detect those notes. The ‘poison’ bottle design will dazzle the younger crowd. Finally, something with a look different from those damn skulls we’ve seen before. I recommend testing before buying, unless you already know the scent, find it off-putting, are a perfume freak, or a Police collector. As a cheap alternative to H24, it’s brilliant.
