  It smells good and lasts, around six to seven hours on my skin, but we’re back to the same Zara issue: it’s essentially a fresher version of Amber Ego, yet the scent is identical; nothing new on the horizon. Another recycling from a brand that abuses this practice; if you already own the other, there’s no need for this, as it’s the same.

  At first, the cardamom is noticeable, but it fades quickly, allowing the apple from Amber Ego to take centre stage. Here, it’s not as sweet; it’s more sophisticated, giving the impression of an expensive fragrance or someone with an opulent lifestyle. Highly recommended for the price; I’d be brave enough to buy another bottle. As for longevity? Forget it; it lasts days on clothes and up to eight hours on skin.

  It feels like a perfect choice for everyday wear; nothing invasive, elegant and truly daytime-appropriate. I don’t want to fall into the trap of thinking Zara scents are weak, but this one sits very close to the skin or I simply don’t notice it, unlike Magnificently Dubai which is quite a beast. Ideal for work or university, the value for money is excellent.
