I bought it blindly because of the price and absolutely loved it. Based on the name, I thought it would be gourmand, but it’s a ‘sister’ to DG’s Light Blue; the notes are very similar and on the skin they’re 80% identical. For the price, I recommend it 100%. The longevity and projection are moderate. If you like Light Blue and want one to reapply guilt-free, this is your option.

  • Ginger is the protagonist in the dry down, so much so that I found it expectorating. It reminded me of 31 Herbs oil. I didn’t try it on skin, but on blotting paper, and there it kept that medicinal sting. Recommended for sinus sufferers.

  • I recall a film with my grandmother where lemon sorbet was served between courses to cleanse the palate. I used Tartelette Citron in the same way, to reset my nose after other perfumes. It’s citrusy, but what I smell most is citronella; to me, it smells like mosquito repellent candles. It smells nice, but it feels flat. I’m missing the freesia, which I adore and can’t find, while the jasmine and cedar are ghosts, as are the white woods. Of the three (pink, green, yellow), I’m sticking with Macaron Amande, a delightful scent with character, a dessert that satisfies without cloying. Tartelette Citron is like that palate-cleansing sorbet: it doesn’t bother, but it doesn’t nourish either.

  • I love citrus and bought this for that reason. The truth is, it doesn’t last at all on the skin; now and then a burst is detectable, but it doesn’t even reach an hour. For the price, it’s okay. At the exit, it reminds me a lot of Dior’s Light Blue, another citrus that I’m fascinated by.

  • I love citrus perfumes and bought this for that reason. The truth is, it lasts nothing on the skin; now and then a whiff appears, but it doesn’t reach an hour. For the price, it’s decent. When worn out, it reminds me hugely of DG’s Light Blue, another citrus that I’m fascinated by.

  • I expected something citrusy and sweet with gourmand touches of lemon, cookies or vanilla, but I find it herbal, fresh and spicy. Of the similar ones, the one that comes closest is ARSLP’s Gotaa de Color, although Light Blue is more woody than spicy. Would I buy it? Perhaps, but only when my citrus scents run out. I like the bottle; it reminds me of a bakery, but the scent does not.

  • I wanted it to smell like lemon pie: acidic, vanilla sponge cake and meringue, but no. It’s a very ripe, sharp, astringent yellow lemon. I couldn’t stand it. If you like lemon at 100%, this is for you.

  • At first, it smells like a lemon cake, but soon the lemon and ginger dominate, losing the sweetness. It doesn’t last long and lacks sillage, so it’s ideal for the gym without overwhelming anyone.

  • At first it seems like a lemon tartlet, but soon the ginger and lemon take over and it loses its sweetness. It doesn’t have much longevity or sillage, so it’s perfect for going to the gym without bothering anyone.

  • Literally it’s a lemon tart, a fresh cake, but the performance seemed very poor to me. If I like it for a child, the bottle is fun and pretty, but that’s all.

  • Literally ‘Lemon Tart’, but the performance is very poor. If it’s for a child, the bottle is lovely and fun, but that’s all.

  • I was quite disappointed. I expected a gourmand scent, like a lemon pie or lemon cookie, but no. It smells like those fresh citrus perfumes used in summer and it’s over. That’s all it is. It’s not worth it and it doesn’t last at all, although it projects a bit more than the green or pink ones. I really don’t recommend it.

I tried it several times and, while it’s pleasant, I wouldn’t buy it. It’s nothing like the others in the line: neither unique nor gourmand as promised. I expected a lemon cookie or lemon pie with meringue, but there’s no trace of vanilla. It disappointed me; it smells of strong, ripe lemon, just like any lemon body splash with herbs. It lasts longer than the others in the line, but it doesn’t create any attachment.

  • I love it, but it sits on the skin: just sweet lemon and ginger, super fresh and tasty, with no wood or floral notes. They say it smells like lemon caramel and they’re right. The longevity is poor, though if you let it macerate for a while and apply it with vaseline, you can get up to five hours.

  • I really like this perfume, but I feel it doesn’t evolve; it’s just sweet lemon with ginger, refreshing and tasty, but it didn’t remind me of any dessert and I don’t sense wood or flower. I read it was ‘sweet lemon caramel’ and it is exactly that. The longevity is very poor. I let it macerate a bit and applied it with a little vaseline, and it lasts about five hours.
