  • I can’t be impartial with this perfume. That juicy plum that unfolds takes me back to my childhood. To a routine afternoon tea, nothing special; the kind where my mother would take out fruit and offer me those freshly bought plums. Big, slightly acidic, delicate to the touch, aromatic. A scent that has accompanied me beyond that moment. They have been afternoons watching TV with her, trips, sunrises, etc., and it always followed that maternal halo that in childhood is perceived as practically celestial. This perfume evokes that simpler life, that childhood, and above all, that woman who, in the eyes of a little girl, was everything.

  • Narciso Rodríguez has got us used to world-class quality, regardless of whether you like their styles or not. Although they don’t declare it in the notes, I sense a patchouli with an incense-like smell. It’s very beautiful and lasts quite a while on skin. Like all from this house, it doesn’t follow fashion trends, which is why I calculate that you either love or hate it. Try before buying, and if you like it, let yourself be carried away!

  • Gourmand Bottle

There are two types of consumers who either love or hate this upon trying it; I leaned towards the second option. Trying to switch to more potent and interesting fragrances, I went to the perfumeries to test it, but no. I didn’t like it at all, so please don’t buy blindly!

  • As soon as I perceived it, it took me back to a period in my life when I used Dream Angels Forever by VS; it’s very similar, in my opinion, very rich and wearable. I loved it.

  • DIFFERENT AND SPICY, I like it. The first thing you feel is the pepper which confuses you at first, but I absolutely love it. It’s for night, but not those powerful ones that leave a huge trail. I like it, but it stays very soft on the skin; I’d use it for a dinner party. It’s rich. The dry-down is a spicy vanilla, but you’d need to wear a lot to notice it well. The more it dries, the richer it gets; the pepper gives it an incredible touch! It would be interesting to have a 30ml or 50ml bottle, but now I’m looking for something with more projection.

  • I must confess that the first time on the back of my hand, I couldn’t smell anything; it had hidden itself. Then I took a blotter home and started noticing something subtle but lovely. The third time was love, and I realised how wonderful it is. That dark plum is addictive. It lasts a long time on skin, although it doesn’t have tremendous projection; you notice it more when you get close. It wasn’t love at first sight, but it became addictive over time. It needs 2-3 opportunities.

It was shaping up to be a favourite because its scent captivated me: plums, a bit of rose, vanilla, and musk; that’s what I perceive. A super sophisticated, feminine, and captivating aroma… but what a disappointment regarding performance. I’m not someone to whom perfumes play badly, and yet, despite drenching myself in it, it disappears after two hours and no one smells it around me. It doesn’t even fix on clothes.

  • From my point of view, it’s an extremely well-known fragrance, nothing new. It reminds me of sweet supermarket blends, but with better quality; however, it’s equally unpleasant. It gave me a headache almost instantly.

  • Not the most original thing in the world, but it works! You’ll receive compliments, and there’s something about the dry-down that I can’t quite explain but simply adore; it gives it that distinctive touch. Very sexy and more versatile than I expected. That musk with the rose could be alarming as it sounds like a lady’s perfume, but it has absolutely no such effect; it’s youthful without losing elegance. Like with other Narciso scents, the musk is formulated to perfection and blends beautifully with everything. It’s worth giving it patience on the first sniff to appreciate its evolution.

Absolutely loved it. At first, I was traumatized by that intense musk that overwhelmed my senses when I tried it alongside For Her, but once I reset my nose and tested it on its own, I was hooked! Nothing revolutionary, but it’s exactly what I’m looking for: plum, bergamot, pink pepper, vanilla, and a subtle rose. Ugh, I’m already obsessed. The musk is there but doesn’t dominate, which is vital as I don’t tolerate much of it. For someone who adores these notes, it’s delicious. The only downside is it doesn’t last long 🙁

  • Lizilla Rojas

Yes, its plum is very similar to the one in Dior’s Poison, as one YouTuber I follow said and I agree. However, it failed to deliver magic and performance. I don’t sense the musk or pink pepper, my nose highlights the plum and rose. I know it must have its own personality at the bottom and it’s a Narciso Rodríguez, I like the brand a lot, but for me it was a disappointment, I wouldn’t buy it.

  • What a wonderful perfume, I have very little of it left, I only use it on special occasions because it’s expensive, but I like it so much I will buy it again. Even though I don’t like sweet scents, NR. Musc Noir Rose has a subtle sweetness, nothing heavy or childish, it’s elegant and sophisticated, its quality is notable, nothing synthetic. I perceive the narcissus, sweet plum and vanilla the most, its dry down is addictive, I always apply it on my wrists to feel the bursts. It’s the perfume I would have married in if it had been in autumn or winter.

Girls… I’m mega sad… I came to the shop to try it, it smelled delicious on paper! I sensed a hint of sweet cinnamon and plum… but it doesn’t work on my skin. I have cats and know the smell of cat urine well, so on MY skin it transformed into that; cat urine with a hint of plum sweetness. I suppose musk and I are not good friends. I’ll give it more chances to see what show it puts on… 😣

  • I didn’t find it anything special, it smells mainly of sweet and powdery plum, with a very intimate trail.

  • I’ve been wearing it for a few days and I’m obsessed, I want to wear it all the time. It doesn’t have a great trail but lasts forever on my skin. What I like most is the dry down; I always sense the vanilla and musk. I don’t feel it’s a winter scent, it will surely work well in the cold but it doesn’t overwhelm at all in the heat and is enjoyed immensely.

  • A pity. It smells very good but the longevity is extremely low… too much for its price…

  • A lovely fragrance of dark plum with white musk, 100% Narciso Rodríguez DNA, woody with a notable touch of rose that makes it super feminine and interesting without being powdery or mature. For others it’s super sensual, for night or winter, and I couldn’t disagree more. It does have that elegant perfume sensual touch, it’s warmer and sweeter than others from the house, but I see it as super wearable, for everyday use, and for all 365 days. Its projection and trail are moderate, but it’s compensated by good longevity (>8h). Note, it’s an intimate scent, a second skin. I would never wear it to attract attention because I think it would go unnoticed. As a perfume I’ve loved it, it’s one of my favourites from the house.

  • It was my anniversary gift and couldn’t have been a better present. I like to wear it only with my partner when we’re alone, and he loves it. It’s a shame it barely lasts a couple of hours on me 🥺🥺🥺 but I still adore the scent.

  • anamaestracorreo

It smells INCREDIBLE; it’s my favourite alongside the For Her EDT. That vanilla with the plum is delicious. I still think it’s not worth buying Nude if you already own this perfume. It projects well and lasts perfectly (my bottle is a year and a half old and performed less at the start).

  • It’s one of Narciso Rodríguez’s most delightful fragrances; while the plum note in the opening doesn’t quite grab me, within minutes the sweetened floral and musk blend into a super pleasant, feminine scent. I expected something more sensual given the hype, but I find it very versatile, ideal for daily wear. The trail is moderate and lasts about 6-7 hours on my skin. I bought a decant out of fear of the plum, but it could be bought blind. It’s on my wishlist, though I don’t see it as original enough to need it immediately, although I definitely recommend trying it.

  • Kathy Martín

I hate it completely; it smells like a tree I can’t remember and I dislike it. Fortunately, I decanted it. Edit: it smells like dried flowers, disgusting

  • Delicious; I love it because I can perceive the declared notes and that fascinates me. It’s nocturnal and sensual. Unlike other NR scents, Musc Noir Rose lasted 4 hours, then not even on the skin. I stick with Poudrée, Ambrée EDP and the rectangular ‘For Her’ EDP (pale pink), all of which last over 10 hours.

  • I went to the perfumery looking for something clean and fresh, they didn’t have testers and recommended this to me, a mistake. It smells strong, like incense or insecticide. Then it turns into an elegant older lady’s perfume, from another era, with a common taste from decades ago. In a fictional world, it would be the perfume of film noir actresses, the favourite of Stacy Malibu’s mum.

  • At first I said it was ugly, but after 30 minutes I couldn’t stop smelling myself and I said it was wonderful

  • One of my favourites. The projection versus pleasure dilemma: here, pleasure wins. It doesn’t have great projection, but up close it’s a bloody wonderful experience. Brutal sensuality, strong femininity and a hint of darkness that some might not like. Very in the vein of Sonia Constant, similar to Musc Noir (better not buy the other if you already have one).

  • I didn’t find it particularly nice, neither on blotting paper nor on skin; it smells like rubber, like those childhood dolls. The plum fades quickly and the musk, with an undeclared note, alters everything. Narciso is strange… mmmm

  • I had an intense, albeit forced, infatuation. I’m not a devotee of NR, but I always used to spray this in the perfumery. I took a while to fall in love because I don’t usually wear musks, but I felt something special about it. Now that I own it, it’s one of the best: unique, dark fruity musk, sexy and glamorous. The projection is just right – not Mugler Angel level – but it’s intimate and modest, which is where its charm and elegance lie.

  • DaviniaTolkien

Wow, double wow… what a beautiful perfume. I take back my comment that it smelled like cat urine; my nose failed me. It’s an exquisite rose with fluffy vanilla that makes you want to hug yourself. Chic, with a touch of plum fruitiness that makes it tender, sexy and original. To my nose, it’s unique, adorable and clearly a year-round scent. My new favourite, the best.

  • I don’t see the quality in it. It projects nothing and doesn’t last, and there’s no plum anywhere. I don’t know why I bought it when Fleur Musk and White Musk are my favourites. I’ve always hated the For Her line, although I acknowledge that Narciso has quality. This is an exception. No projection and no longevity, and worse than the Musc Noir I also own. I’ve made my decision: the summit of this house is White Musk and Fleur Musk. I’m not leaving that.

  • I was convinced by the time I was halfway through the bottle. I’m a huge NR fan and ‘For Her’ is my favourite; at first, I loved it, but the longevity was disappointing – it barely lasted on clothes. Once it settled, though, it’s a different story. I sprayed it at 8 am and after 12 hours, it’s still right on the skin. It’s a powdery, vanilla-musk scent that is nocturnal and mysterious. If you just bought it and it doesn’t smell, leave it for a few months and the magic happens 🥰

  • What a madness of a perfume. I don’t understand why people consider it boring. I haven’t found another with this evolution. To be honest: at 30 seconds it seemed like an old lady’s scent, but at 3 minutes I had the most beautiful surprise: the rose isn’t musty, it’s vintage but not over the top, and at 15 minutes the wonderful plum with the pepper emerges, following you for 3-4 hours. Then comes the second surprise: a smoky vanilla, the best I’ve ever felt, delicate and not overwhelming, sitting on top of the plum. The next day I went to buy it; it was one of my best purchases. It’s a daytime scent at first and transforms into a night perfume. I recommend trying it, giving it a few hours to develop, and deciding, because it has one of the clearest evolutions I’ve ever experienced.

  • Ojos Claros

What a wonderful rose, plum, and neroli perfume. Extremely feminine with pear and coconut. It has a soft intensity and is very pleasant. If I wanted to appear as if I’m not wearing perfume but my natural fragrance is this flirtatious and magical, this is the one I’d choose. It has all the characteristics to be a signature scent for a woman who advocates for ‘less is more’. The combination is perfect and winning. 9.6/10

There are perfumes that hit like an un-lived memory. They don’t announce their arrival with a bang, but settle in with an almost unnatural grace on the skin, as if they had always been there. Musc Noir Rose For Her by Narciso Rodriguez is one of those rare miracles. I swear I smell sandalwood, even though it’s not listed. It manifests as an ancient intuition, a warm echo between vanilla and plum. Perhaps it’s the blend that works the magic. Pink pepper whispers, it doesn’t shout. The bergamot, light as a summer yawn, holds the plum just where the fruit hasn’t yet begun to rot. Then, the floral heart –musk, rose, neroli– unfolds like silk. Nothing grates; everything flows with that quiet arrogance of things well-made. The base, a caress of vanilla, doesn’t sweeten: it embraces. Airy, transparent, as if someone had distilled the trace of a farewell. There are perfumes that want to please. This one doesn’t. This one wants to stay. And it stays.

  • Hmm… I tried my first perfume recommendation from ChatGPT based on my personality and tastes (LOL), and one of the ones it insisted on was this… I absolutely loved it. Do you know what it reminds me of? Euphoria by Calvin Klein but without the woods, lighter and muskier. What a rich sensation. I’d classify it as a dark fruity scent. The plum stands out, or something very similar to dark grape, with an effervescent opening of bergamot and pepper (delicious). The rose is subtle but there, adding distinction and mystery to this juice. I’m grateful that the opening is intense and then settles down, because it’s like another skin of yours but sexier. In short, I loved it 😌😌😌 Thanks ChatGPT 🤣

Plum and musk, musk and plum… those were the top-voted notes and I can certainly smell them. It’s a clean yet acidic fragrance, more complex than Musc Noir. However, I don’t think I’d buy it now at my age; I’d prefer to wait because it doesn’t feel quite youthful enough for me.

  • It came out a bit masculine on me; it reminded me of English cologne, nothing like Poison @.@, still processing and letting the sillage dry down.

  • oliendobonito

Marked plum and a retro vibe. It’s an adult, formal fragrance – nothing juvenile. The downside is that it lacks much projection and longevity: on clothes it lasts 7 hours, but the projection drops quickly after the initial burst. It works best in cold or rainy weather, where it feels cosy. If you like plum and that vintage touch, you’ll surely love it.

  • Aishalulunim

Caught me off guard – what a gem! Initially, the citrus dominates, but I detect something distinct, like plum, which isn’t usually my style. Then the rose emerges; normally, they make me want to run because they tend to smell vintage on my skin and overpower everything, but here it’s perfectly balanced with the citrus and a touch of sweet vanilla. The result is a ‘Dark Feminine’ vibe – dark but not over the top, ideal for almost any season (except intense heat). It’s a floral-fruity scent, super autumnal and elegant. It feels a bit more mature than what I usually wear (I have sweeter things like Good Girl), lasts about 6 hours, and I think my future self will adore it, even though I’m currently looking for something more noticeable and less musky.
