The cold doesn’t favour this perfume, but the warmth of spring, summer, and the height of summer allows it to unfold all its beauty.
It has just arrived, and I think it’s going to dethrone one of my favourites. What a beautiful scent, so feminine, elegant, and subtle.
I’ve had it for a short while. It arrived in winter, and I think it’s better suited for warmer seasons like spring or summer. As it dries down, I notice the rose and musk; it’s not so heavy or sweet, it’s a fresh floral. In the cold, I don’t think it can unleash its great beauty.
With Fleur Musc, it’s the same as with Narciso’s feminine scents: they’re very well made, they don’t bother me, and they deliver everything. It’s like that perfect man on paper who doesn’t win you over at first, but here I am, ready to fall in love.
I like it because it’s floral and sweet, just the right amount. It smells clean, like a woman with personality and character without losing femininity. I don’t detect the peach note; I love it. Highly recommended; I use it for everyday wear and the office. I’d buy it again as soon as it runs out.
Fleur Musc by Narciso Rodríguez: super feminine, elegant, and extra floral. I don’t see it for informal use, but that’s a matter of taste. For women aged thirty and above. I imagine a city woman, heeled, in a skirt, with red lips and a pearl necklace. What a perfume!
My wife has been wearing it for a year (she previously used Tresor) and it’s among the best for young or middle-aged women. I love the scent; it’s pleasant. I recommend it; perhaps it’s expensive, but it’s worth it.
I adore this fragrance; it has a special magic that takes me back to childhood. From the very first whiff, I thought of Christmas with my grandmother. My sister noticed it too; perhaps some aunt used it in the nineties. It breaks with my gourmand and vanilla preferences. It’s my perfume for special events, very elegant; I wore it to weddings. For a sophisticated and confident woman. The longevity and sillage are incredible. It can be overwhelming due to being very musky (once someone waved their hands to move away from it). It’s not for everyone, but it’s unforgettable.
I never dared try Narciso because of the bottle; it scares me and sounds like unattainable luxury. Even though I have money, the message feels like ‘this isn’t for you’. In Argentina, they’re everywhere, so yesterday at Rouge I asked the sales assistant for what she thought was best. She tested it on me, and it was exactly what I expected. What power the packaging has to define the essence. I love that it’s precisely what I imagined. The opening is a slap in the face: it reminds you it’s intense and elegant, not a loud girl in red lipstick, but a fulfilled woman who doesn’t need to shout. Imagine it on a soap opera boss. It’s floral but tenacious, without being cutesy. A blast of roses and musk for hot days. Now I want to try them all, but I want this one now. I’ll come back to edit the review once I have it.
I received a miniature of this perfume and the first thing I thought when applying it was that the fragrance seemed too familiar but… I had never had a Narciso Rodríguez. Its opening is well floral where the rose is the main protagonist accompanied by that soft prick of pepper. The peony and violet are like the maids of honour accompanying the rose without overshadowing it and contributing to that more musky and talcy finish. Very good fixation on my skin, about 8 hours, and a moderate trail but with a brief character. I like it but honestly it didn’t make me fall in love enough to buy it. Returning to the start of my review, curiosity led me to search among the bottles of all the perfumes I already owned and try to find who it resembles. Finally, I discovered that it is very similar to Marc Jacobs’ Lola; in fact, they share most of the notes. I put a few drops of each perfume on the inside of each elbow and comparing them, I think Fleur Musc is better; the handling of its notes is very well balanced and it doesn’t feel synthetic as happens with Lola. However, it’s fair to say that Lola tried to be original while Fleur Musc went for the safe bet and used a combination that pleases the majority.
Roses, roses and peony: the perfect perfume for spring. Fresh and floral, ideal for mild days.
It doesn’t drive me crazy, it’s rich; several men have praised it in spring, but I don’t like it; it was a gift I hope to finish soon.
Love-hate, that is my relationship with this perfume. I spent months hovering around it and trying it out under different weather conditions. I loved it and bought it, plus in 100 ml, and the following year, it stopped pleasing me. It started to seem noisy, explosive, tacky, with too much trail and longevity. The peony and musk were very powdery and shrill to no end. And just after that, the EDT came out, and this one has the right intensity. Wish I hadn’t been so greedy and had settled for the 30 ml which should last a lifetime, considering the intensity of this fuchsia bomb.
Of all the Narcisos, this is the one I like the least. Despite its scent being very rich to me, it becomes too intense and lasts more than 6 hours, so it overwhelms me. It also doesn’t make me feel secure as I believe I could be intoxicating people, although that’s my own fault as I receive plenty of compliments. I try to wear it in winter, autumn, and spring on cold days.
It’s a perfume that smells very nice, but too soft; it smells of roses and cleanliness. I think it lasts longer in winter; you really have to bathe in it, yes or yes. If it’s complemented with the Eau de Musc, it has better performance; it smells similar to the D&G Rose, which is already discontinued. It’s a daily wear fragrance, but it is refined.
After trying every perfume I could get my hands on during September in search of one for frequent, though not daily, use, better suited to cooler temperatures, I had to surrender once again to Fleur Musc. I had used it previously and for me it was a kind of failure not to find a novel substitute, although I have returned to it very happy because it still seems fantastic to me. Fleur Musc is not cheap: for the 30 ml I bought, I could have taken 100 ml of any other mid-range perfume, but I know, from experience, that this small bottle goes a long way as there’s no need to bathe in it, so in the long run it pays off. It’s not for everyone, I’m aware of that; those who don’t tolerate musk will find it cloying, and those who dislike the rose-peony combination will feel stuffed, so it’s advisable, to avoid overwhelming anyone, to apply no more than 3-4 sprays; with Fleur Musc, that is more than enough. EDIT: I have seen this perfume recommended sometimes for high temperatures. In my opinion, under those conditions it feels a bit sticky. I prefer it for fresh or even cold weather, especially during the day. As the bottle has that particular rose, one might think Fleur Musc fits better in spring-summer, but the truth is that in autumn-winter, it provides a non-negligible injection of optimism sometimes so necessary in these seasons.
What a perfume! Super, super exquisite! A little gem you can treat yourself to without ever regretting it. Very feminine, elegant, soft, yet imposing all at once. It’s rich, rich, rich.
A beautiful, refined, and long-lasting fragrance with an excellent trail.
There are playful floral fragrances, and this is one of them. The first time I heard it, I detected a certain resemblance to Guerlain’s Idylle, but in a different version, as I described, more playful and jovial. It’s a fragrance that works, unfolding its full character in moments of excessive heat, managing to penetrate your skin and project itself. The rose, musk, and peony are very noticeable, the latter in abundance. It’s an elegant scent, classy like all of Narciso’s creations, refined and unique. Totally recommended, but don’t buy it blindly due to its slightly citrusy air given by the peony. It’s a tremendous creation by Narciso with its own distinct identity.
Narciso Rodríguez boasts the most elegant musk in perfumery, at least that’s my perception, and this scent certainly doesn’t fall short. It feels mature; I consider it for enjoyment from the age of 25, as before that, it wouldn’t have suited my personality. The rose is perfectly balanced; to me, it’s like walking through a garden full of roses dusted with talc, simply delicious. It’s suitable for daily wear if your budget allows, although here in Mexico it costs over 2,000 pesos.
After using it: wow, it’s not quite as fleeting and the trail is good; it feels high quality. Yes, the spiced rose gets a bit boring after a while. Up close on the skin it’s soft and exquisite, but the trail is more powdery, cloying, and somewhat tiring. I remembered it more from the black bottle in this line; that one has a citrus touch that breaks the monotony. It gets a bit boring, a bit ‘office-like’, yet I still like it; it’s the most elegant bar soap I’ve ever smelled. It reminds me of the vibe of Givenchy Irresistible, so soap-like but in Narciso, much finer, elegant, and modern, not outdated. Avant-garde. The king of layering.
This is my favourite perfume forever. It’s elegant, clean, and floral. It’s one of those that makes you feel comfortable and classy. I wouldn’t recommend it in summer at high temperatures because the scent can become very sharp. Perhaps in the afternoon or evening when it’s cooler.
One of the best from Narciso, a wonderful fragrance with moderate longevity and trail. I hope they don’t discontinue it because their latest creations leave much to be desired.
I tried this perfume in a free shop and loved it. It lasted my entire trip from Barcelona to Barcelona, about 13 hours. I haven’t tried it since, but at that moment, I adored it. The note that stands out is the rose. It feels clean, neat, and slightly peppery. Very rich.
I felt very excited to be able to smell this fragrance, as there’s no perfumery in my province to test before buying, and the good thing is that I do like buying blind. The opening is freshly cut red rose, smelling of that imposing fresh rose with morning dew. It’s linear; at least on my skin, it doesn’t evolve, and up to here it’s very rich, but upon drying, after an hour, the base doesn’t agree with me, smelling of vintage rose, yes, an old-fashioned vibe. You must like scents from that line. Would I buy again: no.
At first, it smells great—roses followed by delicious peony—but the scent lasts very little, at least on my skin I only notice it very close to the pulse. If it had a bit more intensity, it would be a great perfume.
Another generic Narciso smelling like fabric softener, leaving me indifferent. Another bouquet of dusty, half-dead roses. These cloying lavender blends with a simplistic, indolent air of a nineteenth-century lady slumped on the sofa bore me. It’s pretty but fragile, with a sappy trail and longevity that leaves much to be desired. It lacks a surprise factor. Edit: days later, on blotting paper, the roses are hyper-acidic, like wild garden roses. On skin, I didn’t notice it as much.
My second opinion on this lovely perfume. Fleur Musc is so beautiful and simple that that is all its charm. If you’re looking for something complex that leaves you speechless, this isn’t it; Fleur Musc is femininity, cleanliness, strength, and elegance. It’s modern and classic all at once. Here you have the entire DNA of Narciso Rodríguez, something I find fascinating about the brand: there’s always something distinctive. It’s very Narciso: fresh, bright roses, peonies enhanced by a clean, intense musk. It’s a pink floral powder, but with a kick of pink pepper from the start, settling over marked patchouli and amber. For something to be beautiful, sweetness isn’t necessary; the wild touches are refreshing and interesting, and that is exactly this perfume.
If you want to like this, you must love rose, which is the star note here. It blends with peony and lets the N. Rodríguez musk peek through, which tickles me a bit, but the rose is so dominant. I adore rose, so I enjoy it decently, though it doesn’t fascinate me. What does surprise me is the projection and longevity: it’s still there after eight hours. Totally worth it for the performance.
I went in with high hopes but my expectations dropped quickly. The opening smells like plastic—it’s irritating, like a freshly opened Barbie box. Then comes an artificial sweetness that I just can’t follow. The longevity holds up, but the scent itself doesn’t convince me; I’m not sure what it is.
I’ll reiterate: it’s music for every moment. Powdered roses, sweetened by peony, with a powdery musk that whispers. The pink pepper of the opening yields to a floral base that accompanies you without pretension. Wearing perfume is like putting on a melody that you and others hear. This Narciso Fleur Musc is that melody for every context and experience, without tiring anyone out. It’s like your second skin: feminine, it doesn’t say ‘I’m here’ but ‘I’m with you if you need me’. It’s good taste, enveloping, floral, powdery, clean, it suits you, ultra-feminine, playful, and very wearable.
I’d place it between Lancôme Idole Néctar and Kenzo Aqua, but with a lot more musk.
Rose, very rose. It’s my favourite from the For Her line. The opening reminds me of Live Irresistible Rosy Crush due to that pink pepper I adore. Then comes a sweet yet fresh rose. The heart notes last hours; by eight o’clock, I only sense the patchouli with a hint of violet. It has distinct facets, it’s elegant and fine, ageless. I tried it in summer in Brazil; we should try it in winter to see if the musk stands out more with the cold. A very lovely perfume.
At first, it smells of old, musty rose. After a while, the heaviness fades and it becomes lovely and elegant, but it’s not worth the price; I’d take it down by 40 euros. However, after an hour, it is truly lovely and elegant.
It’s my favourite alongside Pure Musk; even mixed together, they get along perfectly. The opening is a bit strong but it modulates quickly.
It hooked me in the store when I smelled it on blotting paper; I thought that’s how a perfume should smell. I bought it for myself, and the disappointment was huge: on skin, it’s nothing like I imagined. It smells like soapy, prissy, heavy rose, like old-fashioned talcs such as Maja. I respect those who love it, but for me, it wasn’t a hit. I recommend testing it properly before buying blindly; better to try on skin than on paper, as it doesn’t evolve the same way.
I’m absolutely in love!! It’s clean, rose-forward, and elegant. I adore that musk and the soft blend of rose with red pepper, which dries down to leave that powdery violet touch. It’s timeless, fine, and precious. If you like Pure Musc, you’ll go crazy for this. Both are undoubtedly the best of Narciso.
I love this perfume, even though I never liked For Her. This one led me to Narciso and it’s my favourite: the most beautiful, with the best sillage, longevity, and compliments. I wore it in the morning and in the afternoon, and people kept asking what I was wearing. It’s astonishing. I hope they never reformulate it.
I keep it for special occasions. At first, it didn’t grab me; it seemed like another dusty, pink musk from the For Her line. But I tried it again a few months ago and went absolutely mad. It smells sensual, feminine, cheerful, and refined. You can detect it subtly hours later without it becoming overpowering, just the right amount to accompany without shouting. It made me demanding with what I tried afterwards. I hope they haven’t discontinued it; I bought a refill and I’ll enjoy it until the very end.
I don’t know why they discontinued it; it’s a top-tier scent alongside Pure Musc and the classics. If For Her and Idole had a child, it would be Fleur Musc. That hint of pepper keeps the rose from feeling heavy or boring. I wear it all year round; it lasts over eight hours and projects well. In summer, only at night, or if you work in an office with air conditioning, then it’s fine for daytime too.
