I was gifted Montale samples and tried this one. At first, it smells of sea water with a hint of geranium. The sillage is moderate. After three hours, the sea water remains with generic floral notes and a touch of oakmoss. By ten hours, it leaves a musky dry-down. It’s a summer or spring fragrance, informal in nature. The longevity exceeded ten hours, though it fades close to the skin at the end. It fulfils its role as an aquatic scent, but I didn’t love it enough to recommend buying it.
Aquatic and fresh scent, perfect for summer. It smells just like the classic Tommy Hilfiger, but less synthetic and with better longevity. I’d still recommend the original Tommy because it’s at least eight times cheaper.
Thanks to Pierre Montale for replicating my favourite Tommy Hilfiger for Men Est. 1995. This one actually lasts and, obviously, has better quality.

Absolutely delighted with this fragrance; it’s a trip back to the 90s. It’s a Tommy for Men by Tommy Hilfiger with far superior quality and longevity. Worth every penny!

I tried Fougères Marines by Montale in their Barcelona boutique, and it’s like taking a stroll along the coast with a fresh breeze on your face. It opens with lavender and geranium, giving it that clean, green touch, then a salty air emerges mixed with patchouli and oakmoss, adding depth, before settling into a soft musk that clings to the skin. Fresh, elegant, and perfect for warm days. I have nothing but praise for this creation. ✧Longevity: 9/10 – Easily lasts 8–10 hours on skin. ✧Sillage: 7/10 – Moderate, noticeable but not overpowering. ✧Longevity: 9/10 – Keeps the scent recognisable for most of the day. ✧Projection: 7.5/10 – Good in the first few hours, then stays closer to the skin.
